Before I joined Vibe Ride, I never thought I would be a gym regular. The location is great, the community is welcoming and diverse, and the culture is supportive and non-judgmental. Vibe Ride taught me how to enjoy exercise and now I look forward to coming almost every day! I have become stronger, healthier, and happier since joining this community and even roped my partner into becoming a regular. Spin has great music and the room is dark, so you don't have to feel self-conscious if you are worried about how you look when you work out. TRX and body classes are also excellent. All of the coaches are fantastic and have their own energy and flow so you can find the fit that works best for you. I especially love Cristol, De'Angelo, and Demetrius' classes. They are fun, encouraging, and committed to ensuring everyone has a wonderful experience, no matter their skill level. We've even completed Tough Mudders as a gym! I didn't love this. There was nothing specifically bad about my experience, but there was no one helping anyone get on their bikes before class and a lot of people had form that looked like could hurt them. The class was VERY calculated, to where they look at a paper and tell you what RPMs you're going to be at, which might be some people's things but not mine. We didn't do arms, which has never happened to me in a cycle class. I took a themed class, the music was good, the instructor wasn't bad. I am very passionate about cycling, and I can be picky but this wasn't for me. read more

I've been going to Vibe Ride for about 8-9 months and I enjoy the variety of classes that they offer. I am typically used to only taking cycle classes so it's been great to switch up my classes and try new things! I am addicted to Cut Body Bootcamp & really enjoy TRX when I have the chance to take it! The studio is clean and parking is typically not an issue. Cycle classes are taken in a dark room with one instructor and occasionally a DJ with colorful lights, upbeat music , and includes some intense choreography and tension from the bike. On my initial experience at Vibe Ride I think I could've felt a little more welcomed as far as the front desk staff explaining things in the studio and the staff appearing a little more enthused to answer my questions. My only other negative experience is me accidentally booking a 12:00 class and 12:10 recovery room slot and being penalized although I attended the 12:00 class. In my opinion a recovery room should be for after class hence "recovery" but maybe I'm confused about the concept. Although the staff attempted to address the issue in offering me to try the recovery room after class I was then informed that the studio closes in 30 mins and I would need to re book and had been penalized a $15 fee. I've had something like this happen at a previous studio and while I do take some accountability the other studio was a lot more accommodating and considerate since I pay for unlimited monthly classes. I chose not to dock a star because I love the owner and instructors but not a fan of how something's are handled. Overall my experience has been great since I joined the studio! The instructors are knowledgeable and bring all the energy to class. I recommend everyone to try a class at Vibe Ride and you won't regret it unless you just despise working out and a challenge. I can't believe that I'm even alive to tell the story after Coach Kalye whooped us up in the best way on a Friday afternoon! I finallyyyy checked out Vibe Ride after having them in my sights since I moved to Atlanta. And let me say, it was everything I expected and more. Lucky for me, Vibe Ride is listed on Classpass so I had the opportunity to check them out as I moved through my trial points. I decided to book a Friday afternoon class to enjoy after my morning of admin work and I'm so glad that I did. The plaza that Vibe Ride sits in is a quiet, but busy one. There's parking in the front, back and just a few off to the side, but I had never even realized that there were a number of spots in a covered parking deck just steps away from Vibe Ride. I was so happy to grab a spot on the deck after every other one was seemingly packed due to Vibe Ride, a school, a popular coffee shop, restaurant and more are all in one area. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Coach DeAngelo at the front desk and what a sweetheart!! He was so kind and helpful when I walked in, especially after I told him that it was my first cycling class, ever. He gave me some words of wisdom, took the time to show me around and even how to get on and off of my bike. I loved that he told me that despite 7 years+ of cycling, it still kicks his butt lol. DeAngelo also reminded me that if the choreo was too fast, to simply slow down and focus on just working the bike. I kept that with me! The studio is extremely clean, spacious and welcoming, offering lockers, cycling shoes, a big bathroom, a water fountain and more. Truly an exceptional location. Now, onto the class. Ya'll. I can't believe I had the audacity to sign up, lol. But so glad that I did. I opted for the Cycle & Sculpt class which included 30 min on the bike and 30 on weights. The room was dark & moody, but packed with music, LED lights and more bikes than I even imagined. I was placed in the back row, (thank God) and was hyped to see Coach Kalye walk in. Small, but mighty LOL. She plays ZERO games. Omg, the trash talking began as soon as she smiled . She kept me laughing the entire time (through my sweats and tears). I will say, I definitely couldn't stay on point the entire time and thanks to DeAngelo's words earlier, I was okay with that because believe me, I still got that workout in lol. I loved that it was easy to follow her instructions and I caught onto moves that seem to be regular form in cycle classes. I found that my heart was racing a bittt too fast since I'm used to slower workouts (like pilates) so I took my time. After cycling, (she threw me for a loop because I was counting down the time until I got off of the bike and we were definitely on there for more than 30 minutes ) we headed in for weights. There was more than enough room and weights for all of us and we got right to it. The moves were not crazy at all and definitely for all levels. When I was messing up my squat form, I was so grateful to have Coach Kalye come over and help me perfect it (while talking a lil loving trash lol). She's seriously amazing and her energy was infectious! Overall - a fantastic experience. What an amazing experience at this friendly cycle gym!!! Unbeknownst to be they also offer boot camp/yoga/stretch classes! As someone who hates cycling I was nervous so I stared with the Saturday morning active stretch boot camp class. Phew what an amazing vibe. The studio was so clean- from the lockers to the bathrooms to the workout areas. Check in was seamless and everyone was so friendly! Extremely easy (& free!!!) parking in the heart of the city. I am challenging myself to work out 30 days in a row and had been on the treadmill and wanted to switch things up a bit, so i searched for a Spin class with hip hop music and i landed here lol. I had to sign up for a profile in order to sign up for a spin class. A single spin class cost $20 but your first time there it cost $10. (FYI when you check in on yelp you get 10% off any workout package). The class was very intense for me bc i haven't went spinning in 4 years. But overall the class was amazing. i got a Great work out in and the instructor was awesome. he was very energetic and encouraging. Make sure you arrive 15 min prior to start time bc they do start on time !!! the facility is very clean. they do provide shoes, a towel, lockers, a water machine, and even a charging station for your phone. The customer service here exceeded my expectations. I had messaged them on instagram about locker access and they got back to me literally in 30 seconds. When i arrived i was greeted at the door with a smile and warm welcomes and when i got into the gym area the instructor assisted me and my friend with the shoe placement on the bike and bike adjustments for our height !! This is an amazing spin experience. Great instructor, super clean and luxurious facilities, friendly people, and awesome music selection. So what can go wrong? The acoustics of this place are a health hazard if you are placed 3 feet away from the mega speakers like I was. I think I lost more hearing here than I ever did at any of my previous concerts in life combined (and I go to a few music festivals). No one in the staff offered me ear plugs. But wait... the fact that I even need ear plugs to go to a spin class is just a little bit ridiculous. Most spin studios have the sound projection via distributed ceiling speakers or multiple side-wall speakers. Having two mega speakers for the entire room is just punishing for those who have to be the human victims next to them. read more

I used their showers which were easy to use- towels were readily available. The front desk staff is kind and you can rent cycling shoes without any issues. Vibe Ride was the first thing I wanted to do post-vax. The owners and instructors are truly wonderful. I have never had a gym membership that felt more like a friendship until Vibe Ride. If you are looking for a judgment-free zone to rock out in, this is it. The instructors are motivating, energizing, and kind, and I have never felt uncomfortable here, whether I'm on the bike or out in the studio. I took classes at the Midtown location pre-COVID, but since the pandemic, I've taken a handful of VibeRide Grant Park's outdoor spin classes. I think they're a great option if you're COVID-conscious but losing motivation after a year of at-home workouts. I've tried a couple other outdoor workout classes, and think VibeRide has made the best adjustments. Their outdoor classes take place in a covered garage next to their indoor studio - it has great air flow, but also good protection from any wind / rain. It does tend to run a bit chillier than outdoors though, so I recommend bringing layers as you'll be cold at the start of class and warm up after a few songs. The bikes are relatively spaced out, with generally three bikes to a row, so it's also easy to be on an aisle if you want a bit of extra space (note: the studio map reflects an indoor setup, so the bike numbers won't match up to how it's configured in real life). The classes seem to be close to full when I've gone on the weekends. They are not renting shoes during the pandemic, but they have them available to purchase, or you can wear regular tennis shoes that slip into the pedals (their bikes don't require a clip in). They have waters for sale, but you'll have to bring your own towel if you'd like one. Check-in is very easy - you enter the parking garage, and a friendly representative will check you in on an iPad. They have cleaning wipes available and everyone is very good about wearing masks. The instructors are high energy, and play music through a loud speaker (not a silent disco). In the back rows, the sound can get a little muddy, but it's generally good and keeps the community feel of an indoor spin class even though you're more spread out. The music is mostly R&B and Hip Hop (and not always the clean versions) - fine by me, but something to be aware of if it's your first class or not your favorite music genre. I do wish that there was a little more variety in the cycling "program" - often, the songs have similar beats and rhythms, so there's not a ton of variation between high RPM and high resistance (ex. climbs vs. races) - still a great workout, but a little monotonous at times. Having taken classes at a ton of different spin studios and brands in different cities, I have to say that VibeRide's value and sense of community is one of the best I've experienced anywhere. Their classes are extremely affordable relative to other workout classes (often $10 depending on various promotions), people are very friendly, and there's a wide range of athletic abilities represented. It's a very welcoming and accessible place to workout - the type of place that has a lot of "regulars" but that also makes you feel like one from your first class. read more

I was in Atlanta for the weekend and found this place on ClassPass. I signed up for the 8am Saturday CUT Bootcamp class with Jazz and had a blast! You can show up with just a water bottle, as they provide mats and free weights. The class consisted of some laps around the parking lot and HIIT AMRAPs. It was a killer workout, to say the least. Jazz keeps the energy high and workout fun. It's an outdoor workout, and the weather was perfect - a little chilly but felt great once we were warmed up. Totally worth it! read more

I really enjoyed my experience at Vibe Ride Grant Park. It's like the best kept secret. I've only been to 2 spin classes so far, but they have both been excellent! It's just too cold to be outside and it gets dark too early for me to run after work, this place is perfect. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it's clean, the music is great! I like the addition of the videos for the spin class. The staff is very friendly and they were very helpful my first time there, explaining everything. i'm 6-7 classes in. This is a fun way to get a high intensity workout in in under an hour. The facility is clean and conveniently located in the new Larkin on Memorial development in Grant Park. I've only done spin classes here. The bikes are new, and you get emailed a performance review after class. During class, music and /or videos play, and it energizes you to push yourself harder, while keeping the class fun. I have been a member since this location opened in February 2018, and I can truly say that Vibe Ride Grant Park is the epitome of community, family, passion, encouragement and friendliness. As if those things aren't enough, each workout is a FULL body workout, and the studio is conveniently located to the Grant Park Neighborhood, I-20 and several in-town neighborhoods. There are a variety of classes (TRX, Barre, Yoga, Pound, Spin, Sculpting, etc.) at different hours of the day. So, there is always a class to fit your schedule. After spin classes, you receive a performance summary via email. What a great way to measure your efforts! The studio atmosphere is fun, and it feels like home. In the past its been challenging for me to stick to any exercise consistently, but Vibe Ride has made it so fun and motivating. The instructors are high energy, give great instruction, are very motivating and generally want to help you succeed. I have never experienced such a pleasant studio before and I'm looking forward to trying other classes like TRX and Bootcamp. On my first visit I was shown how to use the clip-in spin shoes, helped with my bike and given a tour. I need to get back into shape and lose weight and I am certain this these classes and instructors are going to help me reach my goals. When the studio first opened, I bought a 10 class pass and got hooked to their spin classes. They have awesome music, new equipment, and friendly yet challenging instructors. However, I've been a bit disappointed with several things lately. Since it's gotten hot outside, the AC isn't doing enough to cool the room temperature down. I went to a spin class in May when it first started getting hot in Atlanta, and several people walked out during class. I figured I'd wait for the AC to be repaired, but as of today (June 12th), it's still like a sauna in there. I couldn't ride like I normally do because I didn't want to pass out. I was also annoyed that this particular class was only 40 minute+stretching instead of full 45 minutes of full workout. read more

Vibe Ride (especially instructors Crystal and Daryl) is an excellent spin facility. Vibe Ride is different from other spin classes because modern, non-EDM music is used. It is not uncommon to hear Nicki v. Beyonce, Migos, etc. For me, this is particularly effective because the pedaling/RPMs are to the beat. In other words, I don't need to monitor consistently my own efforts, just pedal to the beat. Pedaling to the beat gets me one of the best cardio work-outs you can get. Highly recommend. read more

It's winter, gets dark early, and I wanted to keep up the bike legs. My first class was 1 hr on Sunday afternoon. I booked it a couple hours before it started, no problem. The class itself was solid. Frankly, like any spin class, you can go hard, or ease off on the days you are wasted. That said, this one was really motivating. The instructor, Daryl, made it challenging, and kept the class involved. My legs are torched. The music was loud and well put together. Lots of hip-hop, loved it. Ear plugs are available if you want it toned down a bit. The facilities and equipment were clean, no issue. If you don't have bike shoes, they are free at the front desk. Technology - each bike has a computer that displays rpm, what gear you are in, wattage, heart rate, and kcal burned. These are a bit more advanced than the spin bikes i am used to. You don't just dial up the resistance, there are actual gear "numbers" associated with resistance, which takes a lot of the arbitrary guess work out of how much resistance you should be set at. There are monitors on the wall which show how you are doing compared to others. No names, just numbers. The website is nice. It tracks which bike you used, and sends you all your stats. It also keeps a running tally of miles, power exerted, time on bike, classes attended, etc. Kind of like using a Garmin computer/website, or Strava. Nice feature. All staff were friendly, Will definitely be back often. read more

Some of my favorite instructors are Kmil, Daryl(The Cardio King) Crystol and Taliah.Very intense spin classes that will help you drop weight quick and fast included with a healthy diet!! Some of these instructors don't just teach spin, they have other talents under their belt!!! Also, their playlists are always on point,which keeps your energy level super high!! I have been a member at the Midtown Vibe Ride location for almost a year, but due to temporary COVID-19 closures, I took semi-private training sessions at Grant Park for 3 weeks. I love Vibe Ride no matter the location, but the Grant Park location really impressed me with the customer service. Jasmine worked the front desk to check me in before every class. She always greeted me by my name and even remembered my shoe size. She was so genuine and kind every time I walked in the studio. I got to participate in one of the spin classes she instructed and I loved it! Her motivational words throughout class inspired me to push harder and left me feeling grateful for everyday blessings outside of class.
