I love this food. I've been looking for a regular vegan restaurant and baby this is the one. I hope he is still feeding the community

The breakfast tacos have a flavor I've never been able to get at home. I don't know how they cook everything! The 3am is by far my favorite taco with that breakfast sausage that tastes like real meat. I've also gotten the "beef" nachos maybe three times. I'm constantly craving those. The food truck park is a cute area with lots of tables and fans. The staff is always friendly and the food comes out fast even when they're busy.

Service The guy working the truck seemed to be high while taking our orders and making food. That must explain why tacos are $7, they were decently large and that runny age was good. It also took ages to make and get our food. I know vegan food does tend to take longer because of the care process, but this was another level. They did not call our names when the food was ready and it took ages. We even came to check on our food a few times and it was not ready. Ambiance Food truck in the middle of an empty lot. There are quite a few other trucks, but they were all pretty expensive. Bathrooms are decent onsite and there area few tables around the here you can eat. Honestly meh on the location and truck food.

The was best Persian cuisine in Austin! Very authentic!…read more I'm Persian (my dad's side) and grew up eating traditional meals. Oh, the nostalgia... so fulfilling to my soul, especially since my dad is no longer earth-side.

I decided to order a mini Persian feast: the beef koobideh with rice, doogh yogurt drink, and a saffron ice cream for dessert. This was my first time trying beef koobideh, and unfortunately, this just didn't seem to be very good. The meat itself was okay, decently cooked, and topped with quite a lot of some spice that I can't quite put my finger on. It was okay. The rice though, that is what really disappointed me. Persian rice is usually amazing, but this really didn't seem traditional and it had a strange taste to it. It also came with onion and a grilled tomato, both solid additions. Good portion though. The doogh yogurt drink wasn't homemade like I had hoped, but in all honesty, it still really hit the spot on a hot Austin day. Reasonable price. The saffron rice was also fairly disappointing. Large white chunks (clotted cream maybe? But they were pretty tasteless), gritty texture, not much flavor. Just not really worth it. All in all, a bit of a disappointing dinner in Austin. I'll have to look for a different Persian spot next time I'm in the area.

BUY IN STORE -- Not online…read more I truly hate writing this review because Rebel Cheese's products are excellent but the fulfillment and customer experience were a mess from start to finish. I ordered a holiday cheese box on December 3 as a Christmas gift. My card was charged immediately. The order never shipped, and I received no communication until I followed up myself, multiple times. After the holidays, I learned (only because I kept pushing) that my order had been internally canceled due to a system glitch, with no email, no refund, and no outreach. I was repeatedly told it would ship on specific dates that came and went. A replacement order was finally sent in January. It arrived late, wet, with melted and ruptured ice packs, and the cheese was very soft to the point my friends weren't sure it was safe to eat. The box also lacked the gift note that was supposed to be included. What bothers me most is that my card would have stayed charged indefinitely if I hadn't chased this down myself. That's not okay especially for perishable food. It's a real shame, because the product itself is great. But based on this experience, I can't recommend ordering gifts or anything time-sensitive unless the fulfillment and communication processes dramatically improve.

Up until it's final day Rebel Cheese has been excellent in food, atmosphere, and service. The space was always clean and there were plenty of foodstuffs to peruse in their store. On more than one occasion I got myself a bit of snacky vegan deliciousness to go. It wasn't all cheese, there were sauces, spreads, and sugary treats too. Every single cashier has been kind and friendly. The food always came out fresh and hot. Online ordering is easy and my products arrived right on time. No complaints! This is a great place to at least try to make the switch to vegan cheese. There are plenty of options and everything is flavorful.

One of my friends is vegetarian and the other is gluten free. I don't eat bell peppers and limit my dairy intake so this place ended up being perfect! So many delicious items and all for just $16! I had the hibiscus tea and it was delicious as well. The person at the register was super helpful and explained everything. They had a menu of the day so everything was made fresh. The menu was hand written! We were able to sit outside under a covered area which was nice when the rain came down a bit. It was a lovely day to sit outside in the evening. I look forward to having another meal here again. As a long time Austinite who maybe ate her a few times 15+ years ago, I'm glad it's still around and serving great, vegan, and healthy food!

The food was simple, healthy, and delicious, and I had a great time consuming everything from vegetables to legumes to tea. One meal portion was $16 per person and I was served a plate of food that contained sauteed vegetables, salad, lentils, and steamed vegetables with sauces. Everything was delicious. Since I normally loved cooking vegan at home, some of what they served here, especially lentils, matched exactly what I would have cooked. The soup and tea were amazing as well, and there was a piece of paper on the table with explanations about the tea. Even on a Monday in December, this place had everything that I needed. There was a hammock outside, a path to walk on, and a bulletin board with flyers advertising all types of local events that were along the lines of healing and inner peace. That further solidified my perceptions about how this place would attract people whose energies aligned with what this place was trying to surround itself with.
