North Bay had three months to get this taken care of and to let me know what was happening. To tell me the day before!! That is not acceptable. I called the doctor and he got it over to them, but North Bay didn't call me back to tell me they got it like they said they would. I started called North Bay at around 2:30, but no one called me back and all I got was their answering machine. Also, I have gone back there in person to get things moving. I want to go to Davis rehab, but we have lost over three months waiting for them when they told us it only takes three to four weeks to get into the rehab. They run as bad and their ER room does.

I would think this could be considered libel and you could be sued for it, as I think you should be. A horrible crime against your son does not give you the right to attack someone online so viciously, risk their career and livelihood, and put the blame on them for a criminal possibly receiving a lesser sentence or being acquitted. With only minutes of research you would have found your answer. From what I found, to get those notes you would have to at least get your son's consent, or a court order. If your son wanted that, the therapist might have been allowed to release the notes, but wouldn't have to by law unless the court ordered it. If the judge felt it might affect the outcome he would have likely pursued the court order. Here is some relevant text: "...While this exception allows providers to inform and involve parents in treatment when appropriate, it does not give providers a right to disclose medical records to parents without the minor's authorization. The provider can only share the minor's medical records with parents with a signed authorization from the minor. (Health & Saf. Code §§ 123110(a) 123115(a)(1); Civ. Code §§ 56.10, 56.11, 56.30; Welf. & Inst. Code § 5328. See also endnote(EXC).)" "Your therapist is only required to tell your parents if you are a danger to yourself or someone else." "...the parent does not have the right to view treatment notes unless a court orders otherwise. Professionals take psychotherapy notes to analyze the contents of a conversation.
