My insurance and I tried to set up an initial appt. For literally 3 weeks. I've been to every physical therapy place in Solano County and I've never seen anything like this. I went there like over 10 years ago and it was good. This guy that wrote a book on physical therapy was my therapist. He was amazing. I think they may be under new management now. Thank God I finally got through. The insurance asked me to try and get in touch with them along with them. My exercises are aquatic and I would've had to go really to places over an hour away. read more

I would highly recommend you don't use them. They do not return your call. I had a referral spoke to someone in their office. They couldn't find the referral told they were gonna call me back in 30 minutes. Never heard back from them. I advise again don't Book with them. They are unprofessional. read more

Edited 4 months ago Avoid this place they have no billing person in site, and will overcharge you. They treat you as a number and not a patient. The original owners Edy and Tom sold this business. A large Corporation took over. The only thing left from the original business is their name. You will not be in a gown for any services even a massage. The front desk folks are helpful and welcoming, and both of the aquatic therapists are amazing! The fact that they even offer aquatic therapy is awesome, and not too far from my home in Vallejo. The care I've received here has been excellent, every time. If your insurance covers it, I definitely recommend Body In Balance. read more

Like G.Brown said, it's a great experience, but I've only been there one time. Justin is great, my only critique is that I think he wears fake Jordan's. Robbie is great, he's a very nice guy, but he almost reminds me of the dad from "Full House." Davidson is a patient, and knowledgeable person, and he wears well-fitting pants, and it doesn't hurt that he looks like he's out of a 90's boy band. I just want to say I have been going to Body in Balance for PT for my knee injury. I have found them to be friendly and professional. I really enjoy my sessions with Robbie and Justin! Their Tech Davidson is always friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. They have made PT a positive experience for me and I actually look forward to going. I have seen an increase in my strength and flexibility and a significant reduction in pain. THESE FOLKS ARE GREAT! I couldn't have been more pleased with the therapy I received. Here's my story: I broke six ribs and collarbone in a bicycle accident. The ribs healed OK, but the collarbone was not coming along. I went to a physical therapist in Napa and was very disappointed. No real engagement, explanation, goal-setting, or even prescribing exercises tailored for my situation. Frankly, it seemed they were just interested in getting the insurance money. BODY IN BALANCE was different! Jeff Smith was outstanding -- evaluated my condition, hands-on therapy for my shoulder each visit, and provided relevant exercises for strength and flexibility in-between visits. I made excellent progress and am now back with my pre-accident exercise regimen thanks to Jeff and his team! Professional, courteous, knowledgable, and caring. This place is just awesome. The ladies working up front are so great, nice and friendly. They were so patient and helpful with trying to schedule around my sons busy schedule. The therapist (Vicky) working with my son was so nice, very knowledgeable and really cared for the well being and recovery of my son. She took her time and really worked with him. The guy on the floor was also great with helping him with the exercises. With their help, my son was pain free very quickly and back to normal. I was very thankful that they were able to pin point what was causing the pain and how he can change it. read more

I have had the opportunity to use this establishment over the years. The therapist Steve was wonderful for my physical therapy on my broken foot. The massage therapist Tiffany is AMAZING! She is friendly, gives wonderful massages and I would highly recommend her for any massage. The 1 Star is specific to Jessica, the manager, and to their appointment process. After a couple of weeks of going back and forth between them and my insurance company I finally made appointments for me and my daughter. My daughter's was a month out. I feel that if their appointments were that far out we could've at least booked one while going through this process. Anyway, I was being seen, by a few different PTs in both facilities, but there was one week that I had a family emergency and had to cancel 2 appointments. The next time I went to be seen, I was told before my session that I had a $25 cancellation fee. Considering what I'm there for, I feel the professional thing to do would be to wait until afterwards. I was thinking about it my entire session. Now I understand that their appointments are in high demand, seeing how hard it is to get appointment in general much less consistent appointments, but people do have things that come up. If you are not someone who has $25 to part with but occasionally has things that come up in their life, this is not the place for you. You will get told that you cannot be seen until you pay it. After several humiliating phone calls talking to two different people, I was able to get the fee waived. I was happy and understood that if I missed again I would need to pay the fee. Fine. Now in one of those phone calls I told Jessica to cancel my daughter's appointment. After it was resolved I told her to please put it it back on. The appointment was for October 3. I arranged to take time off for that date. On October 3 we called to confirm and were told that she was not on the schedule. We rescheduled it for a month out to November 5 (3 months after I first contacted them about getting her in.) This morning I get a voicemail confirming her appointment and saying that I had a cancellation fee of $25. I didn't understand why. When I called back and spoke to Jessica she basically told me that I'm a liar and we canceled the October 3rd appointment, which is 100% not true. She also said that we canceled an appointment on 9/11. I vaguely remember that back at that time they had called her dad and said an appointment had opened up and did we want it. As soon as he told me this I told them he needed to call them back because it conflicted with something else we had scheduled. I don't even know why they called her dad and not me about this since I am the one who makes her appointments. Maybe that is on me for giving them his phone number which I honestly do not remember doing. However, for the October 3rd appointment I know for a fact we were told she wasn't on the schedule or I would've taken her. She'd already been waiting for 2 months! I feel that Jessica was very rude about it, and I'm sure it's because SHE was the one who didn't put my daughter back on the schedule. Just pick a fight with the "difficult" mom by adding a late fee you know will cause a problem rather than owning up to your mistake. That way I look like the bad guy when I try to speak to the owners. So we argued over the details and she just continuously tried to talk over me so I ended up mad and raised my voice. So now my daughter can't be seen there at all, which I guess is a moot point considering I am not going to pay them $25 so I'm sure they would not see her anyway. Their attitude is that they don't need your business so they are not going to work with you because getting $25 out of you is more important then your long term business. The physical therapists and PT assistants are wonderful, but what does that matter if you cannot get timely or consistent appointments and will get refused service if you can't pay the $25 cancellation fee? There are many different ways that this could've been handled that could've benefited all involved, but that would've required customer service skills. Why bother when there are plenty of people in line who can pay, so on to the next. It is just unbelievably crappy that in the process a 12 year old girl with bad back pain from a car accident is still not going to get the treatment she needs. read more

He develops a motivating approach to rehabilitation. He has helped me tremendously with my back problems. He has helped friends with repetitive stress and other injuries. The front staff were efficient and professional, Jeff Smith my physical therapist was outstanding and the assistant therapists were all very friendly and helpful. Jeff was methodical about my treatment and wanted to make sure I did not overdue it and took time for my injury to truly heal. Robin gives the best massage I have ever had. I travel a lot and have had massages in China, Singapore, Germany, and 5 different states. She always asks me what to concentrate on and then she makes sure to hit those areas the most. She is very nurturing in her touch and applies the correct pressure. It is personalized to individual needs and the therapists are very attentive. This facility is not in network with my insurance company but I go there anyway. It is worth it.
