For breakfast I had the Vdara Breakfast Bowl and my wife had the Avocado Toast. Both were huge portions and very filling. I also had their Bloody Mary. Sunday afternoon, my friend and I returned for a couple drinks before dinner. I had their Old Fashioned, which was good. Service was great on both visits and we had 2 different bartenders. Located in the Vdara hotel, this is a little bar that stays open moderately late (around 2am on weekends, 12am on weekdays). They have a curated set of mixed drinks, a custom ice tea (which was good). Service at the bar good, bartenders were fun to chat with and we closed out the night with them. The waitstaff serving the tables, though, not as good. Friend said they were paying for drinks for the group they were with - that's it. Turns out, they added everyone's order in the area to the tab, and then when they were talking to him about the ~$450 bill, claimed they didn't understand. They ended up settling on giving him a $150 bar credit for the next day, but it left a sour taste in the group. A second visit to use the tab - took a while to get service while sitting outside. Ended up going in to grab a drink there at the bar since it was faster. Drinks aren't cheap (up to $75+ for a shot that would be half as expensive in NYC!), but it's a cool place to hang. read more

Nice spot to kick back after a long flight or if you want a good meal while staying at the Vdara hotel. I had the cheesesteak sliders and the truffle fries; all were good and very fulfilling. Located in the Lobby of Vdara, my favorite place to stay, is this convenient dining option. I've only had breakfast and only at the bar. Hugo is great! Espresso Martinis with a little chocolate is the way to go! They have a really good ice tea as well that Ifind myself having multiple refills. I typically go with a Bacon, Egg and Cheese sandwich with side of hashbrowns. It not listed on the menu this way, just order it if you want it. Located in the busy lobby of the Vdara, adjacent to the busting indoor walkway that leads to Cosmo and Bellagio, this little bar is a friendly respite. There's a big outdoor seating area with fire pits and misters and some indoor tables, but the bar is where it's at!! Friendly bartenders are always on the move making their creations but not so busy that they won't share tips such as what to make with a particular liqueur or which wood chips they're using to smoke a cocktail. We were happy stopping in for a laid back dinner. We sat out on the patio which was completely empty. It might of been because it was a bit chilly, but they had the fire going which made it nice. Popped in for a quick drink on my way out of town after touring a couple of sites. Even with waving, saying "hi", and asking for help I waited about 15-20 minutes to be acknowledge and another 10 to order. Tidying tables, restocking items, etc... seemed to be priority - it wasn't terribly busy. I did have some emails to work through but I was honestly on a bit of a timeline to get in and out. Upon finally being helped the waitress apologized, letting me know she was all alone. I saw a handful of wait staff so not quite sure what that meant. She let me know there were more than 10 orders in front of me, and asked if I still wanted to order - presumably in the event I wanted to maybe not wait so long. Weird. I don't know if she was being transparent or just didn't want to add in another order, or what. Anyhow - I ordered and my drink came quickly - I paid and left. truly. i'm still alcohol soaked from a five day stay in las vegas. and before anyone gets all judgy, i'm fresh off a five year introduction to hell, which may or may not have consisted of 24 hour care for two elderly people that spent their last few years complaining non stop. the usual 24 hour day actually turned into 30 hours, if that is possible. anyway, since i laid the groundwork for my excuse for morning, afternoon, and yes, evening drinking, here is my review of the bar found at the vdara. first, the vdara is blessedly casino free, which really cuts down on the noise and vague smoke smells. the bar itself is prominently displayed, you cannot miss it when you enter the hotel. there is also little cafe of sorts (warning, do not drink excessively, then buy a bottle of wine around 1 a.m., your inflated receipt will most likely implore you to quit drinking). there is also a starbucks, for those of you who crave caffeine. i am not one of those people. vice versa is clean, there are plenty of seats at the bar, as well as table seating inside and outside. all the bartenders i had during my five days of debauchery and liver abuse were great, with the exception of one. but that's probably just because his mimosas were made with more juice than i felt was necessary. not kidding, the other bartenders filled the flute with champagne up to the rim and finished it off by squeezing one or two drops of orange juice out of this cute little squeeze bottle. i may or may not have fallen in love with all these men. as a general nod to overall health, my friend and i decided to order breakfast to wash down our mimosas. she had the cinnamon roll - i don't think the picture truly conveys how large this roll is - she loved it, i don't eat things like that, since 1. i don't like bakery items, and 2. i was saving room in my tummy for mid morning drinking. i, of course, ordered bacon, extra crispy. gosh, even days later, i remember how delicious that bacon was. mmmm.... the waitresses wear these cute black dresses with a sparkly belt. and before you ask, yes, i have problems dressing, and most likely have been highlighted in 'what not to wear'. so for me to actually see and recognize a pleasing outfit is a rarity. next yelp review - vdara pool. read more

This was a great surprise! I wasn't expecting much from a hotel lobby bar but this was really lovely. I had a MyVEGAS deal - buy one get one cocktail. And the drinks are great. I highly recommend stopping here on your way to a casino and picking up a delicious cocktail to go. They also have a really good menu with some fun and tasty options. Shared sliders and fries and they were very good and served with a trio of sauces. We found this the perfect stop after checking in and before heading out to gamble. It's not inexpensive and the seats can be pretty uncomfortable (high-top tables), but we will absolutely come back to try more of this interesting menu. A winner. read more

I want to rate this higher. I've eaten there once before and the food was wonderful. That was two years ago. Since then they have gone through a recent renovation, so I thought it would be even better. Here's the thing: The ambiance is fantastic! It's a nice respite away from the stress that traveling and gambling can bring on. It's spacious, no smoking anywhere near the place and the music is at a relaxing volume. The bartenders rock at what they do. The cocktails I've had are on point. The service is friendly and solid. But...the food. My flat bread was a disaster. I've had way better flatbread at an airport restaurant. I ordered flatbread with figs, goat cheese and arugula. I figured it would be cooked. Or at least warm. When my flat bread came, there was no goat cheese in site! I had it sent back. They just spooned out some dollops of goat cheese and randomly put them on. My flatbread was cold and tasted like card board or had that consistency. The figs were canned or jarred. That's not a bad thing, but at least try making them into a spread or maybe, um, cooking them? They were whole. (My server said that the flatbread came with a goat cheese spread. It didn't say anything about a spread on the menu!) This place is still great for a drink. My two gin drinks were amazing. I would probably stick to a hummus plate if I ate here again after this experience. read more

Honestly, there are so many great places to go that I'm not sure I would choose this one, not that it was bad, but it's nothing special. The service was great, but the menu is quite small, and the ambiance is good - I would recommend sitting outside, if the weather allows. It's great if you're looking for a quiet spot to chat and don't want to hustle of a casino. It's also a great dog property since there's a dog park nearby. It was quiet at 2pm and we found ourself a comfortable seating area to chit chat. I ordered the yuzu cocktail and it was a delightful and refreshing drink on a hot August day. We thoroughly enjoyed Vice Versa for what it offered and being that it was a quiet respite from the Vegas slot sounds. It's also a great people watching spot since Vdara seems to attract quite the conference crowd. Our server was quite friendly, and prompt with cocktails. So I stayed in the hotel that has the vice versa. It's indoor and outdoor, the indoor is where the bar is. Has a lot of seating around because it's basically in the lobby area. The outdoor has TVs, fire pits so that you won't get cold if need be, and is very spacious. It is a really good vibe. There isn't much of a view, you're basically looking at the Aria but that's perfectly okay. The way staff seem really nice and really friendly, no complaints in that area. Is right downstairs so it's really easy and convenient. If you walk in the door you go to the right you have a Starbucks and that's where the drop off point is so everything is in the same area so it's actually pretty convenient. If I was in the same hotel, I will definitely come back. The fool was pretty good, even though I only had pancakes. The wait was pretty excessive though. Not sure why, but it did seem like it was longer than usual just for some pancakes. But the servers were very friendly about it though. If you do come, just be aware of what time you come because of the end of the day, it could really be crowded. You could come for a lunch time situation and it'll be full so just keep an eye on that. read more

Located in the Vdara lobby it provides an incredible convenience in the ability to unwind while waiting for your room to be ready. Service was fast and staff members are super down to earth. Stayed here for 2 weeks and ate here 3 times. The food is good, but it doesn't make up for the poor service. I asked for eggs on two separate occasions and had them cooked incorrectly both times. On one occasion I sat down and was served water then had to go looking for a waitress so that I could place a food order. Bartenders seem nice however waitresses seem inattentive and lackadaisical at best. Expect to go looking for someone for a check as well.
