Last night, it got so bad that it kept me awake. I woke up feeling like I was 100 years old, and even taking a deep breath would send pain through me and make me want to cry. Desperate for relief, I booked an appointment at the closest massage place I could find.. even though I'm usually very selective. At that point, I didn't care about the price. I just wanted the pain to stop. I'm so glad I did. Paul was incredible. After just one session, the pain on my left side is completely gone. ZERO pain. I honestly can't remember the last time I felt this much relief after one session. I'm beyond grateful and so happy with the results & have already booked another appointment with Paul for next week! I was then informed that the higher cost was because I was not using insurance. While I understand that insurance status affects pricing, this was never disclosed ahead of time, and I was never asked whether I planned to use insurance or pay cash. Had I been told the correct price upfront, I would have waited until next month when my new insurance plan begins and done the blood work then. When I questioned the discrepancy, the receptionist was cold and detached, taking a very matter-of-fact tone rather than showing any effort to understand my perspective or acknowledge the miscommunication. The main issue here is transparency and patient care. I left feeling like just another number, with little concern for how the situation affected me or whether I chose to return. Clear communication upfront would have completely avoided this experience.
