I am a huge fan of Vicky Bakery and have been going since I was a child. I never write bad reviews as I know how hard everyone works and we all have bad days. I have been to this location twice and the service has been bad but most of all the quality of the food has been awful. Today I order empanadas and they were freshly done but when I bit into it it was still super cold. I returned them and ask for a new batch... guess what?! This time I bit into it and it was frozen again. We went back and informed them and the rude gentleman that was there just said give them their money back and never apologized. I hope this location turns things around and this review is for the owners to be aware of what's going on there. read more

Bad experience. Staff was rude. They had my sandwiches in the window so long that it went cold. If there was better customer service maybe I would not have asked for a refund. But after I asked for a refund, they were not able to give it to me. Excuses after excuses until they called the manager on the phone which was very upset from what the employee said. Manager said they will send me the refund a day later. If I don't get it, I will dispute it and report it to the business bureau. I do not recommend this place. I can't even say it was just me. There was a man waiting for his Cuban-style espresso for over 20 min! The staff has no communication. They need a new staff. read more

I can't begin to explain how nice it is to finally have a Vicky Bakery near me. Leaving Miami as funny as it sounds this was a little of a concern. To not be able to have what I have been accustomed to was a big change. Nothing like a cafe con leche and tostada to make you feel at home. Being able to stop by and finally have my cafe con leche and pan con tortilla which was excellent by the way, on The Weeknd's was something we took from granted. Location is clean, food is delicious, and service was exceptional. Can't say enough nice things about this new location. Which sometimes you feel like moving up north to broward you won't get the same taste. Thankfully that wasn't the case. I will def be a regular! read more

This Vicky's is dirt compared to the Davie location. The hours of operation are a "suggestion" since apparently they don't open at 6:30. They also don't carry several of the amazing offerings you can find at Davie, such as creme brûlée and the breakfast empanada. You'd think a chain restaurant could get it together but apparently not. I love this place! it gets better when my coffee is done right! and for that, I have to thank Yamilka for doing so. She is a ray of sunshine. She is always smiling and filled with positive aura. Her attitude is wonderful. I witnessed once where a customer came up to her angrily saying he did not like the taste of the coffee made. Horrible service and food quality today. I sent my wife to pickup breakfast. Not only did the cash register lady try to skip her but she got our order wrong. The ladies at Vicky Bakery are the reason I keep going back... and the croquetas. I am always received with a smile. Even if it is packed and busy, which it can be at times on the weekends, I'm never ignored or left waiting. All of their pastries are delicious. If I could change one thing, it would be the mini croquetas, as every time we order them they feel old and stale. Otherwise, we love this place!! read more

I get cakes from the Fort Lauderdale location once or twice a month. I got a cake from this location yesterday. It was supposed to be a Dulce de Leche cake. And since I have gotten it many times before I know it has Dulce de Leche (caramel) in the middle. To my surprise, when I cut the cake there was just cream and no Dulce de Leche in the middle. Not just that but the cake tasted like it gad been sitting in the fridge for a couple of days. I was so disappointed!! For almost $50 I could have gotten a much better Cake but decided to go for the sure thing because I always get this cake from the Fort Lauderdale location. Service was ok in this location and its nice and clean inside but the most important thing which was the cake was not good at all. I will start checking other places and if you need something good for sure I would stay away from here. I embarrassed myself yesterday bringing to my party a Dulce de Leche cake without Dulce de Leche. :( read more
