I always have a good experience here! their egg sandwich is huge on fluffy cuban bread! I didnt get that this time, but it was very good. Today i had the pan con bistec (again the bread is fresh) the steak is seasoned so well. i like the addition of the potato sticks for a little added crunch. I had their chocolate cake pop for the good time and it was fantastic. Great chocolate and super moist on the inside. We also ordered the pan con lechon and that was equally good. The spinach empanada was average. This place is clean and has many areas to sit. The people taking your order are kind and prompt, you don't have to wait long to get served.

We are visiting Homestead and came across Vicky Bakery our first morning here and fell in love! The food is amazing and the bakery is quaint, and the staff is friendly and welcoming.

Vicky Bakery is my go to spot whenever I'm down south and I was so excited to see this one open in homestead where my family moved to. They have all the traditional Vicky Bakery staples, freshly baked and delicious, with amazing cafecito, great service and a spotless restaurant. I look forward to going back next time I'm in the city!

Not all Vicky Bakery locations are made the same and it clearly shows. This one did not have a lot of variety of baked empanadas. Now I really shouldn't be surprised as many don't, but given how this is a newer location (and let me tell you that it really shows with the decor), that was a bit disappointing. Nevertheless, they scratched my Cuban bakery itch after moving to Tallahassee. Bought a plate of ham croquetas and some Cuban bread. Definitely felt like I was home again, more so as I brought these goodies to my cousin afterwards and we had a grand ol' time.

Who doesn't love a known bakery such as Vicky's. While in the area one early morning I came across Vicky's while desperately needing coffee. Made a quick turn and parked right in the front. Bakery is clean with everything displayed nicely. There is seating to enjoy your goods or you can order and go. Purchase an occassion cake here with all the decorative options too. You can resolve all your hunger needs here with all the hot pastries, croquetta's, sandwiches, bread, empanadas, coffee, juices and so much more. Lunch and dinner plate options are always available and service is friendly and quick. As always the flavors are always on point so its ways a win win.

The place is clean and service was nice, we try the croquetas ham and we're good and feels fresh, the empanadas and pastelitos are good, prices are affordable and they have a lot of options for platters and party's.

Great new spot for your Cuban bakery yummies. Nice and clean. I've picked up the guava pastilles, Cuban bread, Cuban crackers, senoritas, cafe con Leche, as well as tres leches. All solid. We also custom ordered a strawberry cake with natilla for a birthday and it was both delicious and fresh, all while being beautifully pink. The only reason why I didn't leave 5 starts is I was disappointed with the personal size tres leches. Not made of the same quality and caliber as the other locations. I'm not a fan of having pieces of cake scraps placed in a very tiny cup with way too many tres leches milks, where it becomes a tres leches soup. Maybe the larger-sized tres leches might be better. All other Vicky bakeries make this dessert perfectly and it is my favorite dessert that I pick up from all of their locations they make one of the best in Miami ) Happy dining y'all! I'm sure you find something yummy here !!! ( ps...for my fellow gringos like me, don't be alarmed by the level of Spanglish, I am 100% sure you will love everything from here :) )

I've been going to Vicky Bakery since I was a kid. Every time I come to Miami I stop by one of their locations. I was so happy when I found out that this location opened up right around my mother in laws house. We ordered some pastelitos (not pictured) a croqueta preparada and pan con bistec. As usual the food was delicious and did not disappoint. The location had a very cozy area where you could sit and enjoy your meal. It was clean and there was plenty of dessert options. The only reason I gave it a 4 star review instead of a 5 is because the order/pay/pick up set up is a bit confusing and honestly a lot of steps. You walk in and order, then you are asked to step aside. They call your name at a back counter and you pay and asked to once again step aside and wait until your order is ready. In my opinion it's to many steps. All other locations I've visited you order and pay in the same register, then you step aside and wait for your order to be ready. Not sure why we can't pay for our order in the first register. Regardless of this issue, I will continue to visit because the food is worth it. I am hoping they open up locations in Orlando soon.

Ladies in the front very nice and gave great service, food was good and the atmosphere is very pleasant.

The 18 people working behind the counter managed to mess up a single tostada, so that's something.

This iconic fruit stand is a true South Florida institution. From the moment you pull in, it feels like stepping into a charming, old-school roadside market bursting with color and character. Crates overflow with vibrant tropical fruits, the air smells sweet and fresh, and the whole place has that nostalgic, family-run charm you just don't find everywhere anymore. The mamey milkshake is my go-to and hands down my favorite. It's unbelievably thick, creamy, and packed with rich tropical flavor. One sip and you'll understand why it's legendary. Beyond the milkshakes, they carry incredible local honey, homemade sauces, unique jams, fresh shallots, beautiful vegetables, and perfectly ripe fruits. The exotic fruit selection alone is worth the trip. you'll discover varieties you didn't even know existed. What makes it even more special is that Robert himself is often there, still working and interacting with customers. It adds such a personal touch. Everyone on staff is genuinely kind, welcoming, and happy to answer questions or offer recommendations. Don't skip the back area, there's a small petting zoo where you can buy feed and interact with the animals, which makes it a fun stop for families and kids. It's more than just a fruit stand . it's an experience. A must-visit South Florida classic.

Instead, we left with a smashed rental car window, 1,500 dollars in stolen valuables, and a ruined vacation. Our car was broken into while parked directly in front of the property -- in plain sight. We weren't even there for 15 minutes. When we asked about security camera footage that might help identify who did this, we were told the cameras don't work. Let that sink in. A high-traffic tourist destination with non-functional security cameras and apparently zero deterrent for criminals who clearly know this area is an easy target. This isn't a random isolated incident -- this is a known problem and the owners have done nothing meaningful to protect their customers. Working cameras, security presence, adequate signage warning visitors of the risk -- none of it. Just a cute fruit stand with a dangerous parking lot and zero accountability. (To be fair, the employees seemed remorseful, and gave us some trash bags and tape to cover the window.) Save yourself. Buy your fruit somewhere else. No smoothie is worth what this visit cost us.

While I thought it was a pretty solid cinnamon roll, there was nothing really overly exciting about it. It was just a decent cinnamon roll. We also tried the strawberry milkshake and I will say that was also pretty good, especially on a hot Florida afternoon. I appreciated the real strawberry flavor. Additionally there wasn't a lot to do when we got there. Maybe it was because we were there at the end of the season, but from what I could tell there wasn't really only the bakery and milkshakes. Again, solid option but I had heard so much about this place and just don't quite understand the viral nature of this place. But overall a good thing to do to spend an open late afternoon
