    Eggs Benedict

I got to work early and didn't feel like having the usual McDonald's, so I went looking for some real breakfast food and stumbled upon this little diner. The place serves real, hearty comfort breakfast food. I ordered the Eggs Benedict with sausage instead of bacon. It had perfectly poached eggs, sausage, and a rich, creamy hollandaise sauce. I'll definitely be coming back again!

Suuuuuch good food! We were around this area for a vacation with the family. We stopped here on the way to the airport and absolutely did not regret it. Cute little location with good service. My kids loved the food. I really enjoyed my grits and pancake. I added an egg to the grits and it was perfect. Everything literally was so good.

Exactly what we needed; a legit country breakfast or brunch place. Friendly service and good food. I had great shrimp and grits (Bombshell Buffalo sauce) and my daughter had a breakfast sandwich with avocado slices. Everything was very good.

They did a nice facelift at sams! We were impressed by the new signage and the digital tv screens. We had -two eggs scrambled, single pancake (very good pancake and good syrup! -cornbread (good but underwhelming, i like when it has pieces of corn within) -home fry potatoes - very good and seasoned well -crab cake benedict- very good, more crab than bread in the crab cake (great job) -mini waffle- delicious and good size Friendly waitress, didnt have to wait a long time to sit or for our food.

Breakfast in homestead! I found this place on google and I'm so glad, this area don't have to many options for breakfast and my husband and I love it, favorite thing here was the biscuits and gravy's on the "heavy heaters" OMG best gravy's Ever just perfect, pancake we're good too and the corn bread delicious. First come first serve, family ambiance, good attention, and nice service all the girls were nice.

What a great breakfast spot! My boyfriend and I are always searching for a nice affordable and tasty place to get breakfast when we're in homestead together and we were delighted to find this place! Super delicious food, very nice waitstaff, and class diner interior. We can't wait to come back! Their biscuits and gravy were so good! My boyfriend got the chicken and grits and loved it and I got such a delicious Ruben! I'm always looking for a good place for Ruben's and this was perfect!

We had a good breakfast with a very friendly waitress. I picked this place because it was the only place around that I could find healthier food options, such as cottage cheese and avocado toast. Nothing was over the top great, but it was good food at a very fair price.

This place looks a lot better on the inside and the outside. You wouldn't expect a decent country diner to be in a shopping center like this one. The service was good. People were very nice overall, and they checked in on us every once in a while. Coffee was also topped off constantly. Make sure you order your steak one temperature down from what you ultimately want. I ordered mine medium and got it medium well. Still, the steak was tender enough to eat, juicy, and tasty. Eggs were good, the deviled eggs that I ordered at the beginning were delicious, the hashbrowns we're OK. Could have been crispier. I added their mug to my collection. I'd eat here again. Good country cuisine. UPDATE... This place was good enough that we returned the next day for more. And I'm glad we did because this time I tried their meat lovers omelette and it was excellent! One of the better omelette I've eaten. Also tried the country potatoes and those were a much better option than the hashbrowns. Eat here. You won't regret it.

The breakfast here is so good we had to come back again

The breakfast here is so good, the food always comes out fresh and delicious. I highly recommend stopping by here if you're in the area or looking for some delicious breakfast. Best breakfast joint in all of homestead

Here it was, our first stop on our trip to the National Parks of Florida. With our AirBnB in Homestead, we explored some local restaurants. Sam's Country Kitchen was easily the number one choice for breakfast. We stopped by one morning, got seated promptly, and looked at their delicious menu to see what looked good. We got some plates that gave us a little bit of everything. And everything was solid. Well-cooked, crisp potatoes. Crispy bacon. Simple eggs with classic yellow slices of cheese on top. Waffle House style has browns. Some nice, medium fried eggs. Their biscuits 'n' gravy was the best, though. Two big, fluffy biscuits, and a very large helping of a peppered sausage gravy. Man, tastes like home. Finished off the meal with a homemade-style French toast that was drizzled in Nutella and dusted with powdered sugar. I wouldn't trade this French toast for the fanciest French toast in all the lands. Just perfect. Overall, my self-made decision making tree lead me to believe that this place was the best breakfast restaurant in all of Homestead. After eating here, I was inclined to believe it. I was very happy with my meal, and you will be, too.

This morning I was surprised by the food from Sam's Country Kitchen, the food was well seasoned and even went so far to have Crystal hot sauce . Being a Miami Island woman, I was surprised by the Shrimp and grits. Well done. We will be cak for sure.

A truly country kitchen with solid breakfast food. My family and I landed in Miami and were hungry from our flight. We used Yelp to get us here and we were pleasantly surprised as Homestead doesn't have too many selections of breakfast spots. The wait staff was very friendly and seated us in the newer addition of restaurant on the side where there was more space for our family of 6. Server took our order and food came out quick. We ordered an omelette, country fried steak, meatloaf (husband really liked this), fried Ahi, and a breakfast kid's meal. Food was good and quality was appropriate for the price point. Well actually, I think the price was really good for the amount of food we got. I recommend this place for a quick bite.

Fried catfish breakfast(crispy, but not dry), biscuits, hasbrowns, and eggs. Country fried steak breakfast, and a side of grits.

From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by the smell of smoked meat, and you know you're in for something special. It's a quaint little place with community-style picnic table seating indoors, and you can tell it gets busy during peak hours. The staff treated us like family from the moment we walked in and made us feel right at home. I ordered the baby back ribs and brisket, and both were outstanding. The collard greens were hands down the best I've ever had, and the sweet potato soufflé was just as memorable. Even the Texas toast was incredible--I don't usually talk about bread, but this stuff was fire! The drinks were served in large cups, and the sweet tea was absolutely perfect. Dinner for two came to about $78, which might seem a little high at first, but quality barbecue isn't cheap, and every dollar was worth it. The portions were generous, everything was fresh, and this was easily one of the best barbecue meals I've had. We were so full we almost skipped dessert, but I'm glad we didn't. The homemade Key lime pie was the best we had during our entire trip to the Keys. It was smooth, creamy, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of Key lime flavor, and unlike some of the others we tried, it wasn't gritty at all. It was the perfect ending to an incredible meal. We'll absolutely be back the next time we're in South Florida.

Every table she assisted she referred to our table as being the problem where the tables would then be staring at us and our kids the whole time. Every ask was met with a forced smile, and rolling of the eyes as she walked away. She then went to the system to enter the orders and was pointing at us - She clearly was annoyed of having to serve a large group like ours and made the experience terrible despite the food. I understand it's inconvenient when a high number table arrives but there was still a level of service and respect that should have been present. We will never go back.

I wasn't comfortable with that. I ordered the vegetable angle hair pasta and the vegetables were very fresh and it was a large serving size and reasonably priced but unfortunately it was bland and without a lot of flavors.
