This is NOT the cleaneast spa and ENGLISH is a huge barrier. Could not get a basic manicure and pedicure with a basic line design in one day. When walking in and all my request could not be made tell me. After paying my money I was told I could not get a design until next month. They just lost a longtime customer. read more

I gave this place a try the other day. It is after all right in the neighborhood. It was not worth my time and I should have walked away when no one would tell me anything but just stared blankly. The one woman talked on her phone the whole time which is not relaxing. She interrupted many parts to answer said phone. I was a walk-in. The place they told me to sit, when I looked at the girl - she said nothing and walked away. So the guy at the front sat me down and was looking up how to do a dip as he did mine. There was a fellow employee in a pedicure chair asleep with no shoes on snoring. The guy that did my nails has a dirty scrub top on. The place was dirty too. Vic's was able to get us in at the same time the next day. What a happy accident since I hadn't heard about this place. We got the deluxe pedicure and it was awesome. Very relaxing place. Everyone was so friendly and made us feel like we had been their customers for awhile even though it was our first visit. I made an appointment for a manicure before I left. Employee named Kim refused to correct manicure service and rudely insisted must pay her again for another entire gel manicure service in order to correct the broken cuticles and hangnails left behind from their original manicure service. I'm surprised by all the poor ratings and that is one of the reasons I stayed away for so long. I live down the street and have been going several miles away to get a mani/pedi. I was in a hurry today so decided to try this spot out. I'm so happy that I did! They were excellent, kind, efficient, affordable and so clean. I originally asked for Lisa, due to the good reviews about her, but when she was too busy to do it, she apologized and gave me a hug. So sweet! Kim did my pedicure and it was beautiful and relaxing. I've been coming to this place off and on for about 6 years now. Lately, I've been so disappointed. I will not give my money to them ever again. I came on a Sunday to get a Dip manicure. That Thursday one of my nails chipped while placing children's board games and kid books on a shelf. The next day 2 more nails chipped while putting on my clothes for work! I took my daughter with me that next Sat to get them redone and for her to get a gel manicure. Unbeknownst to me, they wanted to charge me $3 a nail to redo a manicure that was supposed to last 2 weeks! Pissed, I reluctantly let the manicurist redo them and he didn't charge me the amount he said before ($25 which was still way too high) Remember this is a Saturday. The following Monday morning my daughter complains of one of her nails chipping while getting dressed for school. A gel manicure that usually lasts 2 weeks is done after 2 days!! Today is now Thursday, Oct 4th. My thumb nail is chipped! 5 days!!!! No I don't do hard, manual labor. My daughter doesn't wear armor to school! I've never, ever had this problem with a dip set or gel manicure set with anyone, let alone Vics Nails. On top of them evidently using cheap products, they want to recharge for fixing a problem they orchestrated. I haven't begun to mention the not so clean tables or workers food laying around. The past year or so the quality of work has gone down. I'm highly disappointed and they have lost a loyal customer. I'm done! My advice......Go somewhere else that's cheaper, more professional, and cleaner!! read more

Finally went here today to get my crusty toes done. Whew. they were super crusty. Anyways I like this shop. They have some products that i haven't seen before. One of them is the Jelli "crap i forgot the rest" . you get to choose from different scents...they have rose, lavender mist, orange, and mint. They put it in the water and it gives it a wonderful scent and encases the water. (thats what the poster advertising it says). They also put lavender scrub on my toes which greatly needed it and then they did a lavender parafin wrap on my legs. All of that was 32 bucks. read more

I got my nexgen nails removed and reapplied and it was pretty obvious that they do not perform that service often. The final product was not quite what I am use to, but still good. The people there were nice and there was no wait for an appointment. I hear the jelly pedi is worth doing, so I think I'll be back for that. read more

Not happy with my experience here. Last time I made an appt I had to wait 20 minutes. This time when I went they were out of the color I picked so I picked another one nbd. However it looked nothing like the "nail swatches". I asked for coffin shape and they're not they're just skinny. I have polish on my had and around my cuticles. And when I asked for matte topping they criticized my choice and tried to convince me not to and then laughed at how it looked. I really want to give this place 5 stars because it's so clean and they've got such a great selection of gel colors, but the finished product as of late has been really awful. I've had everything done here from basic to jelly pedicures, regular manicures, gel manicures, acrylics with regular polish, gel polish...I've tried it all. Been a semi-regular customer for the last 10 years. I guess it's just really hit or miss with the technicians anymore. This salon has a wide selection of nail polish, gel polish, and dip polishes. I have always walked in, and each time I did not have to wait because the salon has plenty of technicians. I can't say much about the regular nail polish because I have never tried it here. The gel manicure lasts me about 2-2.5 weeks, which is longer than I expected. They introduced me to dip manicures, which became my new go to because each manicure has lasted me at least 3 weeks before my nails look like they have grown out enough. read more

Really disappointed with this salon. On my first trip, I really liked my technician (Annie) and she did a really great, meticulous job! A different girl helped me on my second trip, and my french manicure was okay, not great... I went back yesterday for the third time and I will not be returning. An older woman helped me and she was not only really rough on my hands (left scrapes and scabs above my cuticles!) but also failed to apply the gel polish smoothly and I ended up with brush lines and even a cotton fuzz in one of my nails. Frustrated, I decided not to leave and went back to ask her to fix it... and she made it EVEN WORSE. Rather than 3 of my nails having streaks, there are brush ridges/lines on ALL of them now and to boot she kept missing my nail and left polish on my skin in several places. A day later, the skin above my cuticles is sore and scabbed, and my nails look really bad. Not happy. Will not be returning unless I book again with Annie. read more

Painful pedicure. The manicurist cut down my cuticles so far that it stung. At first I didn't think anything of it but the next day I noticed the cuticles on a few of my toes are bloody. Also she kept stopping in the middle of my manicure to text and play on her phone. Not worth the $75 I was charged... which I'm not sure how it was that much since the pedicure was supposed to be $24 and the manicure $35. I usually go here for pedicures which are ok. However, while in a rush I decided to get powder dip nails. Very bad mistake. The individual who did my nails did not know the rules for proper application. She touched my nails and did not dip in increments which resulted in a poor look. They were also not dipped enough! I have 4 broken nails which should not have happened. Do not go here for dipped nails. They have no clue how to apply the polish. read more
