Three weeks ago I ordered hamburger, mushroom and onion pizza. I only wanted onion on half. When I got the pizza, which was cold, half of the pizza had onion only, no other ingredients. After a lengthy call with Topper's they agreed to refund my money, which they did. Again today I placed an order for my business. Thinking you are calling a local number, you are sent to a call center not anywhere near Lincoln. At the end of the call I told them I was using a $25 coupon. He couldn't process that so had to transfer me to the local Topper's. After going through the order again, and they were confirming it, they mentioned my 25% off coupon, no it was a $25 coupon. I was told the pizza would be delivered in a half hour, but earlier in the conversation I was told they had no delivery people. After a half hour I called again to inquire where in the process my pizza was, the "call center" told me it was baking and would be another half hour. I asked to be transferred to the local location. There I was told the driver just left with the pizza. Terrible overall experience trying to order pizzas. If I'm calling a local number, that's who I want to talk to. Toppers Pizza has been around for a while and there is a good reason for that; the pizza is really good. Rust has just enough tensile strength that you know it's there yet. It is relatively thin and flavorful. The cheese and other toppings of choice are of good quality and quantity. The sauce is tasty without being overpowering. My husband and I are stopped overnight here in Lincoln on our move out to Salt Lake City. I was beyond excited to see that there was a Toppers right down the way from where we were staying! While at college in Wisconsin I regularly visited the local Toppers there. So of course we had to get food from here! We ended up getting the Old School Pepperoni and Sausage pizza, Topperstix with pepper jack cheese and Boom Boom boneless wings. All of which was delivered to us in about 30 minutes. I always order the same pizza when I venture out to try new spots (pepperoni, mushroom, black olives) so I can better compare. I'd put this up against most pizza I've eaten. Price was good for a 12" pizza. Tons of toppings and the sauce was good. Crust was great. Wished I'd ordered a larger one until I ate the raspberry cheesecake monkey bread then wished I'd gotten to that first. It was awesome. We went to bed drunk, hungry, and irritated. If I hadn't been counting on toppers I could have figured out something different and gladly would have. My drunk friend attempted to call back in hopes of salvaging the order and getting some deliciousness delivered and at this point was told 2 hours. Why he was told an additional hour after I was told 45 mins is a mystery I don't care to solve. Seriously just close if you can't provide the basic service your in business for. But the food is actually really solid and deserves a 5 star rating itself. The pizza is good, both thin crust and thick crust are safe options here. As of right now, I've only had their Topperstix, not their actual pizza. But if the former is any indication, this place rocks. The place is pretty small, so I'm not sure if it's a sit-down place or just where you order your food for delivery or carry-out, but I'll definitely be hitting them up soon and giving a more thorough review. While this has nothing to do with their food, I also like them because they just seem like a fun company to work for. Their website's kinda comical. I actually got to try their food for free! I was going on a road trip to New Orleans for Mardi Gras earlier this year, and I was standing on the sidewalk, waiting for my people to get there. While I was just standing around, this delivery guy from Toppers walks over with a box. "Hey dude, you want some free food?" he asked. Now I've always been taught not to accept candy from strangers, but this was pizza, so it's different XD. I said, "Sure, but it's not poisoned, is it?" The dude said, "Nah man, we just got a cancelled order and I'd hate to waste these delicious cheese sticks. But to get it you gotta answer a question. What street are we on?" The sauce has to have some sort of honey or sweet flavor to it, and it was magnificent, I wasn't prepared for that, and massive chunks of bacon, not the "fakeon" bits, but real CHUNKS of bacon. The pineapple was standard canned pineapple. But once again, we went in for cheeses sticks, but ended up with cheese and bacon sticks, and again, real big bacon. I decided to make a pig of myself and tip the box to get all the bacon crumbs directly into my mouth. We were greeted pleasantly and the staff was very very friendly and overly accommodating. Worst service I have ever experienced on a consistant basis. I give many, many benefits of the doubt to the majority of services I put my money towards, Toppers being included. However, they have literally pushed me to create a Yelp account and leave this review. I received an order of Topperstix and a shotty pizza from Toppers this evening. The Topperstix I have attached a picture of and the pizza I unfortunately did not take a picture of prior to eating a couple of slices out of sheer hunger, didnt want to jeopardize what little integrity this establishment has left with a picture of partially eaten pizza. Anyways, we had also order 1.5 lbs of wings with intentions to eat the Wings and Stix and keep the Pizza for the next day, our day off. We had never gotten the wings so after I had already paid and tipped significantly, (I bartend for a living) we realized and I luckily flagged the driver down before he left. He apologized several times as he said he would return to get them. This is where things turned south. I simply asked for a name at that point and he refused and said he would just hurry back to get them as he scurried off with the money and tip for the order I hadn't received. After another 40 minutes I called the store and after 10 minutes on hold I finally got in contact with what was presumably a manager. She claimed to have credited my account because she said the delivery driver had not arrived back at the store and her ovens were now off. I never received any credit and was ignored several times as I tried to call back the store. $40 down the drain, but ultimately and far more important, this business continues to be flooded with the worst reviews in town and accused time and time again with people wielding proof, of straight theft, and is still staying afloat. Garbage service, least prideful employees in all of Lincoln, average pizza, putting a disgrace to a usually above average corporate pizza chain. It is a shame. read more

Very good pizza. The best in lincoln I would say. The cheese is from Wisconsin so it has this rich flavor that goes great on a pizza. My favorite is the toppers sticks.
