This is a very long OVERDUE rave review for Victoria Chrystal Photography! I've worked with Victoria twice now, once for a brand shoot for my business and recently for my wedding! Here's a review for both shoots and what made them so damn special... The brand shoot: I was nervous because this was my first time shooting portraits. We had corresponded via email and text leading up to the shoot. She even gave me feedback and advice on my outfits -- down to my accessories! Who even does that?! This girl, that's who! She has incredible taste and she is so honest (in a sweet way!). We shot in Old Town Orange and she knew exactly where to park and go for the best shots. I was blown away with how quickly she sent me some sneak peeks and her editing. We had so much fun and time just flew by! She made me feel comfortable and cracked so many jokes that my laughs and smiles were so natural in the shots. Wedding shoot: I booked Victoria again because I knew these photos would be amazing. There was absolutely no doubt in my mind that she is who I wanted to work with after the fun I had during my brand shoot! The elopement was in Corona Del Mar. We did a quick ceremony and a "trash the dress" session immediately afterward. Victoria was there before we arrived and brought her sweet assistant. She worked with our dog and even got her attention for some fabulous shots! I love that she has experience working with pets because not everyone does. I'm not going to lie, the trash the dress session is messy, but we all had a great time! Victoria is so dedicated to her work...girl got barefoot and stepped INTO the water with us!!! She isn't afraid to break the rules and even politely asks people to get out of the shot (we had some rude folks ruining our photo opp!). We already saw some sneak peeks of the shoot and are IN LOVE! We've booked Victoria 5x this last year and I can't tell you how much we love her. I have come to appreciate how important it is to capture life's big moments. Sure, it would be easy to have the standard and feel like enough was accomplished. If I was okay with having just enough, or even mediocre, I would have missed out on the best photographer I have ever met. There is more to my experience than just pictures.
