I came for the first time today and I got a gel manicure and pedicure. Cathy did my pedicure and Alek (I think) did my manicure. This is a small nail salon, but the staff is really friendly. They have regulars that come and know the staff by name. Cathy knew it was my first time because most of the people that go there are regulars and she said she had never seen me before. After being a longtime customer, I am completely disappointed by my most recent visit. I sent my husband and daughter to get one pedicure and a fill. $102 later, what I'm most upset with is the lack of communication on how much it was going to cost along with the inconsistency with their pricing. NEVER have I been charged this much here. And when I called to question their prices, Alec and his wife defended what they charged and tried to break down everything done. They must have their pricing posted for customers to reference instead of making up a price after the service was competed. Unfortunately, I will NOT be going back to this nail salon and I caution everyone who goes there to get pricing ahead of your service. read more

I came without an appointment and I wanted to get a gel manicure and pedicure. I had acrylics from a previous salon but I didn't want acrylics again, however I guess I didn't make that clear. I arrived as soon as they opened, but unfortunately these two older ladies that had an appointment were taken care of before me. Four nail techs were there and they hade two for each lady. I waited for almost an hour I believe but they were kind and had me sit on the massage chairs so when they got started on me, it would be a faster service; they had two nail techs work on me when both were available. I waited for 15 more minutes before they started on me. I had a reference picture and they found a gel polish similar but it didn't quite meet my expectations. They added acrylics on my nails. The only thing that I enjoyed was the pedicure because they did a great job on my feet. I spent $94+$2 for a card fee. The price was way more than I anticipated considering what I wanted, but the nail techs were nice and friendly. read more

I wanted to try Victoria Nail. The first time I went was lovely. The dip powder stayed on, but at about three weeks it started chipping. I called because I wanted it to be taken off before it damaged my nail. I wanted it taken off correctly. The squeezed me in and I was very appreciative. Although I wasn't expecting it, Cathy put on another color. I gave a $20 tip out of gratitude. This color started chipping after a day or so. I asked to come it to get it fixed because Cathy says come in if it chips we will fix it for you. When I got there, she started pulling off the powder without soaking it. She told me at our first meeting, not to pick at the dip because it damages the nail, and here she was pulling it off without soaking it. I was surprised and it hurt. I said aren't we supposed to soak them and isn't that bad for the nail? She said no it comes right off and pulled again hard -- it hurt. It has been a month and my nails are still a mess--thin and shredded. she was so vindictive. Beware. read more

I was visiting a friend in Rancho and she suggested this place, as it has been her go to. The service is prompt, friendly, and I can't believe it, but my regular nail polish manicure has lasted three days already. I don't know if I'm particularly hard on my nails, but usually even a salon manicure doesn't last for more than one day on me. Im floored! We did have an appointment, and I got a mani/pedi with the callus remover, salt scrub and also added on an additional foot massage because my technician was doing such a great job! FINALLY a good nail shop in Rancho! The staff here are very friendly and fun to be around. They like to get to know their customers and joke around with them. They will remember your name/face and ask how your kids are doing. I was waiting for my toes to dry and it was a little past closing time. A customer came in and asked if they were closed (she was a regular) and they still accepted her anyway without hesitation. Beyond that, they do an amazing job on nails/toes. I have gone twice for a mani/pedi and both times I was very satisfied with the way my nails and toes came out. The price is fair, I paid $26 for a mani/pedi. I've always been skeptical about getting pedicures since I hate it when people touch my feet. However, one mother and daughter bonding day at Victoria Nails and Spa changed my whole perspective and now pedicures are my guilty pleasure! Kathy, Kayla, and the rest of the lovely people who work there are very friendly and do an amazing job at making sure you're pampered comfortably and finished with a beautiful nail design. I haven't done any of their spa or waxing yet, but my sister gets her eyebrows done here and I must note that they also do a wonderful job with that too. Whenever someone asks for a good nail place, I always recommend Victoria Nails and Spa since the service is just exceptional compared to the other nail salons I've been to. I do suggest calling in first or going there early because they get pretty busy and the longest I've ever had to wait was about an hour and a half. read more
