Ordered by phone... the spinach enchiladas. Every Mexican restaurant I've ever been to, where I ordered spinach enchiladas...there has ALWAYS been cheese inside with the spinach. Not this place! No cheese...just frozen bland spinach and charge $14.50 for that and call it a "meal". Then when i ordered extra salsa and chips, they basically told me I could only have one. Really??? I even told them i would pay extra! When i called to ask if they perhaps missed the cheese or forgot it inside the enchiladas, they couldn't my questions due to non-English speakers and they kept putting my call on hold a total of 10 minutes. They actually forgot my food, it made me feel self conscious, then only gave me 3 tortillas (which wasn't enough) then proceeded to yell "check" and yelled to move when bringing out order. My family and I ordered the #21, 23, and 25 and they were all delicious! The carne asada burrito was smothered in cheese, had a decent amount of spice, and was super hot and fresh. The salsa was a bit watery and boring, but the beans and rice were awesome, so it made up for it. Service was a little slow, but we were there at 1:30pm so only one waitress was working. We frequently go to Victorias. The food is always amazing. But now on Tuesday nights they have live music. I'm fine with live music. But what I'm not fine with is when you have to yell back and forth across the table and still can't hear each other. I asked the manager how long they have been doing the music she said 3 weeks and that people had asked for live music. I said having music / live music is fine, but does it have to be so loud? It sounded like a cat kept getting its tail stomped on. When you put your singer in the corner at the front of the restaurant and he has one very loud speaker going and everyone is within 30 ft or less from the singer there is no need at all for it to be blaring like that. It just distorts it. I know the guy isn't a horrible singer but again when it's way to loud that distorts the sound. And that made 90% of our evening at the restaurant unbearable. Again the food is excellent but the music was unbearable. Please rethink your setup or you will lose customers. read more

You wouldn't think a town as small as Pea Ridge, Arkansas could support three Mexican restaurants, but I have high hopes for Victoria's. The restaurant is clean, airy and has a nice vibe. The service was prompt, friendly and accurate. I ordered the Carne a la Tampiquera. The steak was decently tender and well grilled. The cheese enchilada was excellent, and the rice, beans, salsa and chips were tasty. I thoroughly enjoyed the food, and the portion was a good value. I'll definitely come back again. read more

I've been coming to Victoria's ever since a friend introduced me. Was always perfect until I came in early may. It was me, my sister, and our grandma and we order a dish, not sure what it was called. I ordered chicken and my sister ordered beef and we both realized that the dish had pieces of bone or ligaments in the dish. We swore we would never come back. But last week I went again just to check it out and oh my gosh. It was delicious and our server was quick and attentive as were all the staff. The staff made sure we constantly had chips and dip. While the wait was a bit long (due to a party of like 8 people near us) but we didn't mind. The ambiance is very small town Mexican restaurant vibes if you get what I mean. Very cozy and sweet! I really wanted to like this place but wow, not sure where to begin. I try Chili Rellenos at just about every Mexican restaurant. This place was recommended to us from a friend and after reading the reviews I was not looking forward to trying it- but I am SO GLAD we did!! The service was outstanding despite it being packed, the sweet tea was perfect, they had a choice of spicy or mild salsa and white or yellow queso! I got the sour cream chicken enchiladas and it was delicious and the refried beans were probably the best I've ever had- even better than most of the taqueria's I used to eat at in Dallas!! Located in a corner strip plaza, Victoria's Mexican Restaurant (formerly Acambaro Mexican Restaurant) is a very casual restaurant serving authentic Mexican cuisine for dine-in or takeout. While passing through Pea Ridge, I stopped in at Victoria's for dinner takeout recently. The dining room is "not fancy" and very old school which has ample table seating (red chairs) and old linoleum floors, painted murals at end wall. For takeout, I ordered a Mini Chicken Chimichanga Dinner ($6.29 plus tax) with rice and refried beans, which included free chips & salsa (orders over $5). The food was set to go in about 10 minutes. The chimichanga was lightly fried and stuffed with tender shredded seasoned chicken, topped with queso, shredded lettuce & diced tomatoes on the side. The rice had a very soft texture and the refried beans were soft and dense topped with cheese. The chips were warm and crisp and the pureed tomato salsa had a medium spicy flavor. My wife and I like the food. The prices are pretty good. When you dine in, the service is usually fair. Do not bother to call in or use curbside pick up. I ordered a pretty basic lunch and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. I arrived 12 minutes later. There was nobody in the parking lot or the drive thru. I pulled up, waited two minutes only to be asked my name. Nine minutes later they had my food ready. She admitted they did not start the order until after I showed up. I live in the area and eat here often. today, I had my mother in town and wanted to show her some local places. so we stopped at Ember Mountain down the road for a coffee and then went into Victoria's. we were turned away for having "outside drinks." this is extremely disappointing as it's another locally owned business. not to mention, i bring my own water in every time I come here. so it's strange that they had an issue when it's a drink coming from a business down the road.. coffee in hand or not, all we would have ordered for drinks is water. it just seemed really unsupportive of the community and for that reason, I won't be coming back. read more

I don't know how this place doesn't have at least 4 stars. The food is incredible and you can taste how fresh all the ingredients are. Everywhere is understaffed so if you can't handle waiting a couple minutes then do us all a favor and just cook at home. Hair was in our chips an salsa not once but twice, waited 15 minutes for our drinks, had to get up myself twice for a refill, called an told them our food had hair in it an she told me well just throw it away, very rude about everything and multiple customers had the same problem the same day. I used to continue to give them chances despite the horrible customer service but the last time I went, being on a diet, I ordered a la cart tacos to later find out that they charged me 5.00 to eat their chips and salsa that THEY bring you when you sit down. Honestly, the only good thing I can say is the tacos are probably the best tacos I've tried ( when they don't mess my order up ) I live like a minute down the road and love to come often for these tacos. Only problem lately they've been having issues with is getting the orders right. I've order 2 times tacos with no veggies, and every time I open my plate there's like extra veggies. And not just that but they keep you waiting 30 minutes for the first order to get it wrong and make you wait ANOTHER 30 minutes for them to fix the order. SAD. read more
