Today we decided to go in for a friend of mine. As we walked near the entrance, a South Asian looking woman told us of the sales in store. My friend told her nice and asked her another question(having NOTHING to do with bras). So the woman asks "would you like to be fitted or are you happy with your size". WTH?!???!  that question ticked me off for 2 reasons. The main reason is, I have HUGE boobs, I am a 38G. Victoria's Secret isn't selling my bust size! and I heard from some busty women that VS employees try to get you to buy from their bras. Sweetheart! I DONT FIT INTO YOUR BRAS! why even ask me? I am pretty sure I know my bust size, and unless I ask you....I don't need to be fitted. I understand she was trying to include me with my friend so I don't feel left out but nobody asked for bras. I find this question VERY invasive. A VS employee spoke on another blog about how VS employees will refer you over to another store if you don't fit any of their bras but this isn't the case. I understand you are a lingerie/bra/panties store but unless someone asks for bras, you don't ask someone that near the entrance! I don't see Sephora girls asking people who walk in "Oh, do you need to be matched for foundation or do you like the one you have on". Even then, Sephora has every right to ask that because Sephora has a plethora of foundation shades! Victoria's Secret literally stops at a D cup, I don't know what that girl was thinking I would fit into. Also, I did notice the pushy employees and one employee staring as people were shopping. However, I think it's more due to the fact that she was bored. I can definitely see how someone would feel uncomfortable. The store has a nice set up but the items are overpriced. If you're looking for ANYTHING, make sure they have sales! My friend and I left with underwear and some beauty product. However, VS is overrated. If you are a larger chested woman,  check out Cacique! they are the truth! don't let the "plus size" advertising fool you. I am curvy/hourglass but not plus size. I have a small waist, big boobs and bigger bottom. I have weight in desirable areas, I am not considered "plus size". But because my boobs are big, I shop at Cacique. Even if you don't have big boobs, Cacique offers a variety of sizes!  yes, they are pricey but worth it. You can even cop a bargain on apps like Poshmark or Ebay. Victoria's Secret is not for me and I personally regret walking in. I left feeling uncomfortable and irritated. I wanted to be helpful and suggest for my friend to go in since she mentioned them to me yesterday. I would ONLY recommend their panties IF there is a sale! I wouldn't pay full prize. Their panties accommodate all sizes. But overall? Victoria Secret needs to go out of business permanently. Victoria's secret are a joke when it comes to bra measurements! you can literally see articles online! why would you think I'd be possessed enough to ask for a fitting? also, what makes you think a woman with a huge bust is going to fit in your bras? I noticed she also asked a pair of busty women in the store and they looked at each other and whispered "wtf" as she walked away! I saw an article where a woman with a 38H bust was basically bullied into a 36DD or something like that! these people have no respect. I can't imagine a Sephora or Ulta employee shoving a foundation shade down your throat just to make a sale.

If you can't get an appointment with her, WAIT TO MAKE THE APPOINTMENT. I was forced to deal with the store in NYC on 6th ave and I literally couldn't wait to leave. I'm a born and raised NYC girl so it takes ALOT to impress me. The NYC store didn't even give me a flutter. I can't even remember the girls names, that's how disinterested they were. After that train wreck of a visit because my maid of honor needed to be more local to her, I returned to my tried and true wedding guru pattie. As usual, she went out of her way, this time even rescheduling her entire PERSONAL life ,because of a mix up to take the time to work with me. I wasn't even rushed and she was on her time WILLINGLY AND WANTING TO BE THERE. I mean really, who does that anymore???? More people should but they never do. Pattie initially helped me choose my gown and veil and she was spot on. THIS VISIT, she went above and beyond again to make sure that the flow in colors of dress and style were beyond remarkable. I don't think I could have possibly gotten my dress and my bridesmaid dresses without her keen eye and pure warmth. She could make grumpy cat happy. Not that I would want to see her be taken away from the capital region but she really is an unsung hero of wedding dresses. She makes dreams come true every single time. SHE WOULD MAKE THE MOST INCREDIBLE MANAGER OF A FLAGSHIP STORE. If it wasn't for her, I would have never gotten my dress LET ALONE MY MAIDS OF HONOR. She deserves a corner office and at least double her salary considering what she brings to the table. She knows her customer and reads them like a book to know exactly not what only will look good but what makes a person comfortable. I will never again shop for a dress for any occasion without pattie and her expert eye. I also went for alterations and let me tell you, Tatiana reigns supreme in the work of seamstresses. She is classically trained correctly and will not leave you until your to die for dress becomes your one and only handmade designer dress. A seamstress can create music or a nightmare. Tatiana creates an absolute symphony . I didn't think it was possible to love my dress more.....I was mistaken. IT IS NOW MORE INCREDIBLE AND GORGEOUS THANKS TO HER CREATIVITY AND VISION. Tatiana had it for 45 minutes and it looked like it was actually handmade for me. Simply the best in alterations. Skip the usual places. I could go on and on about pattie and how wonderful she is but for the average yelp user , this is enough. If her bosses and corporate managers would like to know more, they can get back to me as I have much more to say. You are seriously underutilizing your biggest asset in colonie. She deserves a raise, bonus and promotion for her work. I have encouraged people to drive 2 plus hours to see her and I would do it again and again in a heartbeat. They have and they will again. My sisters and I ordered our bridesmaids dresses to this store for a wedding. The purchasing…read moreprocess was standard. Today we went back to try on the dresses and have them altered. My sisters dress was completely ripped at the zipper and had a food stain (textured) on the dress straight out of the packaging, ew! When we asked about it the ladies working said they could try to get the stain out but it might just be. My other sister's dress was pinned to be hemmed and when they asked for approval on the hem it was very short on one side and long on the other, the ladies tailoring gave us attitude but we asked them to make it correct 4x. It took much longer and was much more frustrating than anticipated. Adrienne at the front desk was very helpful and got us confirmation that the stain would be handled. They did discount the dress but it was a difficult experience.

If so, have I got the place for you! While myself and the majority of my bridesmaids are located in Texas, several of my girls are out of state - including my Maid of Honor in NY. My maid of honor opted to buy her gown from Apropos in Albany for convenience. The gown was ordered as the same time as the rest of the bridesmaids' in August. However, come mid-October all of my bridesmaids EXCEPT the one from Apropos are delivered and my maid of honor's dress is nowhere to be found. After advising her to call and check on the dress, my maid of honor was given the run around. Calls were either not taken, messages not returned, and Apropos was all around impossible to get a hold of. Finally, I managed to get a hold of the shop - probably because they didn't have my number on file. I was advised by a woman that she would contact the purchaser (the owner) and call back. Yeah, no call back. My maid of honor got in touch and found out the dress wasn't due to ship until December 1. WHAT? In what world does a dress ordered in August for a December 18 wedding not ship until the 1st? I called right away and got in touch with the owner who proceeded to berate me and raise her voice to me. She insisted that I just didn't understand how bridesmaids dress ordering worked, that these weren't off the rack dresses - they were made to order. As if with 7 total bridesmaids and my own gown I had no idea that these weren't stock items. When I clarified that yes, I understood the dress needed to be made but that my other girls had ordered at the same time and all received their gowns from the local shop in Texas she became defensive. She insisted that because of my maid of honor's size the dress had to be further customized. Never mind that my bridesmaids are all shapes and sizes and a similarly sized bridesmaid had received her order. When I told her, given the negative reviews on Yelp, Google, and The Knot that I was not entirely trusting when she said 'It'll be here!' she told me that the other frantic brides and bridesmaids who left reviews were 'crazy'. I'm not kidding. I'm almost certain that my maid of honor's dress was not even ordered until she called to check on it. Don't go here. Your wedding should not have this amount of stress and no one deserves to be treated so rudely.

I understand the whole "oh we can only give you the sale price" thing, but i though that was only towards clearance items. I went to return $35 worth of stuff, in place i got one pair undies that were $8.50, and 2 body sprays, 2 for $18. Somehow I still owed them $20...? Made absolutely no sense. Thankfully my mom still has the receipt, but I doubt they'll except it since it's been over 2 weeks. If that fails I will try and go back when there isn't a sale to get the biggest refund possible. But I still doubt I will get the full price of my items back. One example, usually stores are say... the 2 for $18 body spray. If you buy 1 it's still full price for the one, not half of $18. But when you return it here, it's only half of the $18. Bogus. Because I bet, if you were to only get 1 body spray they will charge you full price for it. So why isn't it the same for returning one?
