Honestly my partner and I really like the food here (better than most Mexican drive-thrus) but we both get food poisoning every single time. It doesn't deter us from going, since we live around the corner, but just prepare your stomachs if you choose to go. Service is good, nothing to run home about. Never been inside the building, no reason to. I will say the frescas are a hit or miss. Some days it tastes really good, other days it tastes way too watered down. Some of the food tends to be over priced but if you are in a pinch or don't want to cook then go for a burrito. At least they are huge and stuffed to the brim! The food's not bad, but the prices are a bit ridiculous for the quality/quantity. We ordered online, so, of course, it was more expensive than going to the restaurant and ordering in-person. I understand that, but I had no idea they jack-up the prices AND charge a fee AND you pay a tip, not to mention tax, again, of course. Food delivery in Portugal, where we live, is much different, paying the in-store menu price, but adding a small fee and tip. I ordered 3 Rolled Tacos ($6.49 / $4.99), a Two Enchilada Combo ($12.50 / $11.50), a Shredded Beef Taco ($5.29 / $4.29), a Fajitas Plate Combo ($17.99 / $15.49) and a small side of Rice and Beans ($4.99 / $3.99) for my son and me. The taquitos were very good, crispy with lots of shredded beef and topped with guac and cheddar cheese. I was actually shocked when I saw the shredded beef taco. It was small, a little bigger than the palm of my hand, coming with a fair amount of shredded beef, lettuce, and cheese. It was more than a tad greasy, but it tasted good, however, for $5.29 I expected something a little special ... bigger? guac? pico de gallo? tomato? 24 carat gold sprinkles? ... Olé! It is the most expensive taco I have ever eaten and I have chowed-down a shitload of tacos. The enchiladas were decent enough, but the container was too narrow, so there was zero sauce between the first inch and the last. Tjere was little cheese as well. They were difficult to cut into bite-size pieces because the dry beef was clinging together. SNAFU! At $5, the side of rice and beans was a joke. I kept looking for the other container because I expected that only the rice OR the beans was in the one I found, but, when I opened it up, the rice AND beans were both crammed-in. Surprise! The beans were okay, but the rice was tasteless. A 15% markup, $7, on a $40.26 bill, a total of $47.26 for everything we ordered, so with tip and service fee, it brought the total to $56.08. Not the best or most authentic Mexican fare in Camas/Washougal but a good choice for fast Mexican food conveniently located at the Hwy14 offramp. I got the 5 rolled tacos combo and it was OK. Nothing really exceptional but nothing horrible either. It's a Mexican food chain with 15 locations in OR and WA. It seems to cater to Millennials with the infamous "California Burrito" and other designer burritos. I drive by it on my way home from the gorge so I am sure I will be getting takeout again. We love Mexican food and my husband especially loves tacos so we tried the street tacos which were excellent and the crispy ground beef tacos he loved. I had the taco salad. It was amazing. Don't let the fact it looks like a fast food chain fool you, it is in fact an authentic taqueria. We are fortunate to have a few good Mexican restaurants locally, however, for the taqueria experience Victorico's is a welcome addition to Washougal. I love this place, the food is very good but they will charge you wrong or upcharge you without mentioning it. I ordered the kids quesadilla meal and I asked to add chicken for $1. I then notice I was charged $2 to add chicken and the person at the window said I specified "grilled chicken" and grilled chicken is $2 to add and shredded chicken is what is $1. I didn't argue it but next time I drive thru I realize their own menu indeed says add grilled chicken $1. One time I ordered a salad and asked for Ranch dressing. I then noticed $2 extra added on my receipt. After I questioned them about it they said only certain salads come with dressing and the one I picked did not so they charged me $2 without saying there was an extra charge for a tiny container of ranch. I feel it would be good practice to say things cost extra because otherwise you won't really know till you see your receipt. When this location first opened i gave them a try and thought it was great. I always ask for hot sauce and i would get 6 (small but adequate) cups of a few flavors per entree($10-$17) The family and i loved the variety and it was enough hot sauce to enjoy with the meal. And then it went to 3 cups per entree. "Sorry that's all we can give" when asking for a few more. At some point they told me i could "buy" more. So i paid for extra sauce when i got home I'll not sure i ever got more than a cup or two. Now i buy 2 entrees and with tip spend over $35. And i get 3 ketchup cups for BOTH entrees. When i eat Mexican i enjoy hot sauce. Getting hot sauce from victoricos is like pulling teeth. Victoricos is simply unpleasant to deal with read more

When Victoricos replaced Burger King, I honestly didn't give it much thought, although I'd never heard of Victoricos before, it just seemed like yet another Mexican fast food place, one of several mediocre to OK Mexican restaurants available in the area. However I will say I was surprised and of all the fast service, casual Mexican places in the area, this is one of the best. The food is always fresh and hot and they have a good variety of options available for even those of us on low-carb diets, which Mexican, esp. Fast Food Mexican is always a huge challenge. The bacon burrito was the grossest thing I've ever ingested. It was a bunch of soggy, greasy fries that looked like worms stuffed in a tortilla with maybe a 1/2 piece of bacon and 1/2 an egg. I can only speak about the classic carnitas burrito, but it's delicious! Full of meat...a little light on the guacamole for my liking, but, meh. They include many hot sauce varieties if that's your thing. Drive thru was pretty quick & our order has been accurate the times we've went.
