Our daughter attended the Cheer Prep class, Try Out Triumph, and the eventually a Jumps class. I've felt out of place at some gyms, and dance studios. It was not like that at CSE at all. We felt welcomed in from the moment that we stepped in the door. Our daughter's coach was Sam. She said she appreciates all of the specific direction, all of the feedback, and how Sam was always super nice- even when giving needed constructive criticism. She practiced once a week from Jan-Mid May, and she DID earn her spot on the middle school cheer team! We're very grateful for all of the excellent guidance. Summary: . The website is great and easy to book no contract or initiation fee. Each class is set up in stations to focus building skills for developing different tumbling stunts such as cartwheels, front walk over, and back walk overs. The parent waiting area located outside the gym with two large windows to view the participants working through muscle memory stations. It is in a shared space with the juice bar connected to In Shape gym. Pro tip: evenings get pretty packed so make sure you give yourself enough time to find parking. The parking is shared with In Shape gym. If you are unable to make a session you can reschedule your session through your confirmation email. My child was recently sick the day before a tumbling session and it was super easy to reschedule.

The negative aspects are for me as a spectator. First off, there's only a few chairs but about 20 parents cramped in there. You either have to stand or wait outside or in your car. I really want to watch my kid during the class and see her progression, but I have to wait in my car and miss the whole class. The vibe inside is extremely awkward. The moms of the competitive cheerleading class also cram into the same room. You would think the seating was assigned, as the same people always get "their" spots. The cheerleading moms are obnoxious and cliquey. They talk about inappropriate topics that everyone can hear. They have no shame. No one is friendly there except for the instructors. They should make it to where the classes aren't at the same time. I wouldn't recommend this studio based on the atmosphere, but I really hope they can change some things to make it more comfortable.

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience truly broke my heart…read more I enrolled my 3-year-old son in this gymnastics program hoping it would be a positive, welcoming space where he could learn, grow, and interact with other children. My son is autistic, and like any parent, I'm doing everything I can to help him feel included and comfortable in the world. Before starting, I made the staff aware of his needs. Instead of patience or understanding, what we experienced was the complete opposite. The instructors displayed unprofessional and hurtful behavior--making uncomfortable looks, using hand gestures to signal him to go away, and essentially excluding him rather than supporting him. No child should ever be made to feel like they don't belong--especially in a place that's supposed to encourage growth and confidence. Watching this happen to my son was devastating. I understand that not every instructor is trained to work with children who have different needs--but that is exactly why proper training and awareness are so important. If you're going to work with young children, compassion, patience, and inclusivity should be the baseline. I share this so other parents are aware. Every child deserves kindness, respect, and a chance to participate without judgment. I hope this business takes this seriously and invests in educating their staff so no other child or parent has to go through this.
