My car alarm was not working, and my car sometimes would not start. Victor rigged a bypass on the starter to pull extra power, and it always worked after that. The car alarm was actually something I didn't tell him about until he got there. He quickly saw the cut cables, and fixed it no extra charge. Victor then ran his scanner on my wife's car and found the check engine was related to the cat by the engine. Told me a routine to try and clean the cat out, to switch to better gas, and again no charge. So Victor did all the work he agreed to at a great price. And a few extra things at no charge. This is now the 4th time I've used Victor and I can't say enough good things about him! (My Chevy Cruze hit 100k miles and has been needing all kinds of repairs but new cars are too expensive.) My latest car repair situation happened when, without any warning, my car wouldn't start. Assuming it was a dead battery I contacted Victor about buying and replacing my battery. He responded right away with "no problem. "I then changed plans and bought a battery from Costco and asked if he would just install it. Again, "no problem." So he came out, switched out the battery and even checked that my alternator was ok. When I asked what he charged, he said "nothing." I couldn't believe it. But I insisted that he take $20 to at least cover the cost of gas. I'm telling you Victor is just the greatest guy! One more thing I want folks to know: When Victor came out to replace my brakes, he alerted me to the fact that my front tires were bad. When I went to Costco to have them checked, I was shocked to learn that they had to be replaced. (I had exceeded the warranty by almost 10k miles.) The temperature control knob on our 2006 Toyota Highlander Limited would not allow us to change the temperature. The digital display read 64° and the knob even though it turned both left and right it would not change the temperature. I had gotten a couple of estimate from both independent and Toyota Service Centers. Estimates were in excess of $1,300.00 for parts plus the labor costs of opening up the dashboard. Called Victor, he asked me several questions about the problem and indicated he was familiar with this issue. I was able to schedule an appointment for the following day. He texted me confirming his anticipated arrival time and arrived on time. Victor was extremely professional and went to work immediately to confirm his earlier diagnosis. Victor had dismantled the dash area containing the heater and air conditioning circuit boards within a short period of time. He explained that due to the age of the vehicle, Toyota did not sell just the single knob unit that was defective. In order to replace the knob, I would have to replace the entire dashboard circuit board panel which included multiple functions. He gave me an estimate of the replacement cost, which sounded very familiar to the previous estimates I had received. Victor indicated that he wanted to try something to see if he could fix the defective control knob. I agreed to allow him to attempt to resolve the issue without spending more than the car was worth for the entire dashboard circuit. This story does have a happy ending. Victor was able to fix the defective knob and resolve our inability to change the temperature of the heater and air conditioning. He reassembled the dashboard and had me test the controls. I was able to change the temperature up or down. It was good as new. Victor saved me several hundreds of dollars, maybe even over a thousand dollars in his ability to fix our problem. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend and will use his services in the future if the need arises. read more

Had an ABS warning light in my Jeep after changing out a faulty ABS sensor. Thought I bought a bad sensor, but dealer would not take a return unless it was verified bad by a certified technician. Called Victor and he was able to come the next day! Upon arrival, he immediately found a faulty wire inside the wiring harness and repaired it! Explained numerous things about the alarm and the indications that I did not know, all while fixing the problem in an incredibly short period of time! Victor is usually pretty busy, but the wait worth it. I bought a lot of aftermarket parts for all the issues I had with my old RX300. Victor showed up and fixed everything (cruise control, door lock actuator and electric window) without using those parts. You can tell he is a pro, with some 30 year's experience. He knows exactly what he is doing. Pricey? Maybe, but think about how much money/time you save when he shows up at your place. You don't have to drive anywhere and, what is most important, he gets things FIXED, period. Others told me to totally rewire my 1961 Dodge D100 simply because I had no lights working on the rear of the truck. I made several attempts to figure it out and finally threw my hands up and called a professional. Victor showed up on time and wasted no time accessing my issues. Rewired the whole rear of the truck and found that the truck also had grounding issues. Fixed everything with exception to two items that I had to address (dimmer switch and recommending more ground straps/wires). He double checked the entire electrical system to assure that everything was working and I was satisfied prior to his departure. This is now my go-to auto Electrician! Victor was professional and extremely savvy with the wiring and ECU (computer) issues with my Jeep. It had been down for nearly three months after a short that took out my computer. After no luck finding a replacement, I send it out to be rebuilt only to be told it was fried and could not be rebuilt.
