The tenderloin medallions with mashed potatoes and asparagus

Staying at the Florence Hotel for work and last night I wandered down to Victor's steakhouse. The host staff wasn't the best and some employees were kind of obnoxious with their attitudes but the food was perfect. I had two servers Riley and his trainee (young black girl with braids) and they were perfect. The made recommendations on everything I consumed. They chose the drink, main course, and dessert and it was all perfect. They made up for the other subpar encounters but I'd come back here again if I'm ever in Florence again.

First off, Riley was our server and he's A+!! He's young guy but a total professional as if he's been handling fine dining for over a decade or two. He's top notch! Second the She Crab soup is probably the best I've had and I am 58 yrs old. Also had th tenderloin ka-bob and wow Wow WOW! I recommend this place and it is NOT to be missed if you are in Florence!

Excellent food, service and the restaurant is very nice but slightly on the casual side. We got lucky with our choice for a most needed relaxing evening. *The flounder was amazing. I would visit Victors again just for the flounder.

I can't rave enough about this spot. We are driving down to Hilton Head and happened to be in the area around lunch. I looked up restaurants and this one sounded good so we tracked 5 miles in to try it and what a good decision that was. Absolutely everything was top notch. Looking into teh open kitchen, I could see that they looked like more than just line chefs and the food proves that.. First off, what a nice server - Riley! So nice, professional and gave good recommendations. He brought out their famous broccoli cornbread and it was amazing-I am changing things up on the Christmas Day menu to include a version of those! I had the patty melt- what a patty melt- perfection with wonderfully caramelized onions on marble rye and the bread so nice and soft and fresh! Savored every single bite of that. Once you are in a place like this you definitely want to splurge on dessert because you know it's going to be good... and good was putting it mildly- it was fantastic. The Duke's chocolate cake was moist, delicious and so beautifully plated- enjoyed every single bite fo that de Linus yummy cake! I guess we have to stop now more often because the menu showed other things that sounded wonderful.

Food was tasty and fresh Service was expedient and attentive Ambiance was chic and pleasant I was totally surprised to find this gem in the quaint town of Florence. So much so we decided to come back for our daughter's graduation!

Tried again without the special menu as we normally do and it was a complete letdown! The waiter was nice nonetheless but lackluster experience with food. She crab soup was good but very loose based on other consistencies I've had. New management has taken over an implemented a southern style menu .! Collard greens and pimento cheese on oysters ? Not the greatest combo but was seasoned well. The grits and scallops were not good either. Oatmeal / Mash potatoes consistency with jam. The atmosphere is still the same nice environment.

We opted for the seafood. Baked black bass with fingerling potatoes was sublime. I went for the Atlantic Shark Fin. Never had before and unsure how to address the beast- but it was very satisfying and filling. Stephen is the consummate wait staff- professional and on time with complementary cornbread when we were awaiting the orders. Great date night- will be back.

I ordered dinner at Victors because I was a hotel guest. I ordered the Beef Tenderloin Medallions. It's a four ounce or a two oz portion. It comes with a side of mashed potatoes and asparagus - I got a salad instead of the asparagus. I went upstairs looking forward to this meal. Unfortunately I was so disappointed with this meal. The marinade was too strong. It caused heartburn. I wish I ordered something different. Next time for sure.

I have eaten here a handful of times, yesterday and today as it's convenient when I stay at the Hotel Florence for work. The wings are pretty solid, I've had the buffalo, the Jamaican Jerk (not that spicy but still good) , the victors Dry rub is one my favorites. Last night I got dry rub wings, a romaine wedge salad and fried oysters. The wings were fire!! The oysters were cold, and the wedge salad was rough to eat, I left half. They gave me a butter knife and some of the root was still there and just akward to try and eat I was more annoyed that the gentleman next to me ordered a steak which he ordered after I ordered my salad and came out in minutes.. my salad not so much. Even the bartender was confused how his steak came out in 4 minutes. I asked for another club soda which 10 minutes later I asked again... Tonight I ordered wings, and a burger... burger was cooked perfectly and hot the bartender asked me if I needed anything I asked for another beer which I didn't get til I flagged someone else down to ask...same bartender.. Food is good, service needs a little help assuming my oysters died in the window due to server not getting

The food and the service never disappoint. It's the best of Florence and worth visiting - or for entertaining.

    What's the dress code?

There was an array of outfits. Some people were super casual for the daytime and came from the hotel right out of bed. I was in cute casual clothing but I'd suggest looking more business casual for dinner as it is more upscale.

So many places try, but very few truly capture the essence of home. This restaurant, however, hit the mark completely--it was an absolute culinary masterpiece! I stayed in the area for eight days, and I literally ate here every single day. That is how incredible it was. Over the course of my week-long streak, I managed to try almost everything on the menu, and every single dish was cooked to absolute perfection. You can taste the genuine quality, passion, and traditional Italian flavor in every bite. On top of the phenomenal food, the service was outstanding. The staff made me feel welcome, cared for, and right at home from day one. To top it all off, the prices are exceptionally reasonable for the incredible quality you receive. If you want real, high-quality Italian food, this is the place. I would come back here in a heartbeat and cannot recommend it highly enough!

The chicken parm was good - nice sauce and thin cutlet like we liked. The alfredo was pretty flavorless, even with adding cracked pepper and the penne alla vodka wasn't super saucy and also tasted bland. Side caesar was decent but the free bread was super crumbly and went everywhere. Calamari and stuffed mushrooms were still tasty.

My child has a service dog. Not a pet but an Actual Service Animal that is trained the Dog wears a bright pink vest/ harness with very large and clear patches that say Service Animal. In the past it has never been an issue. While sitting at the table she usually goes inder the table and my kids chair. Never makes a sound Her focus is always on my kid and nothing else. Tonight we walked in and was met with an awkward stare from behind the counter. We didn't even make it 3 feet in. I said hello. I asked if it were a problem. That we have been here before and never had an issue. His response was for him He had an issue. I replied she is a Service Dog. He repeated that he had an issue with it. Not want to create a scene and cause more stress for my kid we left. while we were leaving I heard a woman say to her husband, it says service animal. What I can not believe is that this is a Military Veteran and Active Duty community. We are not the only ones here with a disability. It's a shame.
