This review is long but I suggest you read before going with them. I am so disappointed in the job that was done to my roof I'm literally in tears. As a first time home buyer I was so excited to have this brand new roof... After getting 4 estimates at a lower cost than Victors (10-14k lower) we still CHOOSE Victors due to the ratings and the sales person that came to do our estimate. He showed us a video of how bad our roof was, he was incredible. He didn't ever come off as trying to get us to do something that simply just didn't need to be done. He was wonderful and the only thing I am happy with. Other then him mentioning we would need new gutters as well and my husband and I told him we also wanted the gutters replaced but once the contract came to sign gutters wasn't even on there. Getting to the roof.. the crew came early and put a huge tall net around my whole home..the whole time they were working we let them be. The first thing we noticed that went wrong was them busting a hole inside our wall going into our home. We mentioned it to Mando and he couldn't care less. Well I definitely care. This is my first home purchase and we worked our butts off to purchase it. After the job was complete they are supposed to to run a metal detector around the yard not once but twice. That was not done. There was nails and screws all throughout my yard as well as parts of materials. I have two young kids and two dogs and I'm worried they will get hurt or I will get a nail or screw in my tires. Next my husband goes up on the roof to check it out and that's where we see the sloppy work. I was blown away. We choose victors due to the reviews. I easily could have saved a chunk of money by going with a different company if I didn't spend hours reading all the reviews for Victors. I'm so disappointed and dissatisfied I have been in tears. When you bust your butt to buy a home and work hard for years to get to this point it's extremely disappointing when your paying a HUGE amount on a brand new roof to have a sloppy job done. I reached out and I'm waiting to hear back from someone higher up. If I could rate this lower I would. I was told I would have several different people stop by during the day to check on the job the crew was doing and to speak with us. Not one person stopped by. I'm just so upset and disappointed that I chose this company. They chipped a piece of my wood, I have torn shingles that was placed, sloppy caulk all over my roof, waves in my roof, and a huge mess to clean up. They left the torn gutters all around my house. I just feel sick over all this. 44,000 for this shitty job. Edited to add: not all photos were added because after seeing this, I had seen enough. Another Edit since this company is so adamant I submit another review. This whole experience with this company has been nothing but an absolute NIGHTMARE. Doing business with them was one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made..they have lied numerous times, my husband and I missed 5 days of work. The first day I missed work for the crew to come out and fix the job and they cancelled on me which caused me too loose out on money. At that point I was done with them and I told my husband to handle the repairs going forward. We refused to allow the first crew to even come back to our house because of the lies. They sent another inspector to go on the roof and see what all the issues were. He came and pointed out major issues we didn't have no knowledge of so the first crew ended up doing a shittier job then we realized. The guy they did send out done a better job but his manager wasn't any better in communication. The employees here ALL LIE. I have all evidence to proove their lies. From text messages to recorded phone calls to pictures. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had. I would never ever refer them to anyone. My neighbors around just had their roofs fixed and prior asked us about Victors and we told them our experience and they went with other companies and they had zero issues for less the price. read more

Victors replaced my entire roof at a cost of $18,000 only to have the leak return a year later. The cause of the leak was from the chimney, victors explained that fixing a leak is a process of elimination, our house is 30 yo and we needed a roof. This statement is exactly the opposite of their television and radio commercials,they advertise state of the art diagnostic equipment and inspection to determine the exact cause. I am not a customer, nor will I ever. Yesterday a crew came out to put a roof on the neighbor. They let trash from shingles blow in my yard and did not pick it up, after several hours of it being there. I did so and let them know that I will do their work and pick it up myself. Then when they left they put the most hideous bright yellow dumper that is broken down in front of MY house. I found their number to text and let them know of this situation. Next day, first thing today I called , sent texts and emails. I finally got a call at 10:39 AM. Not sure what first thing means to people but that ain't it in any book I have ever read. When I did get the call they guy said that they had to because the neighbor couldn't get out of the drive. Total lie. I sent pics where I showed them that that was not the case. NEVER EVER do business with a company that disrespect and disregards your neighbors. This is one of them. They are doing me a favor and going to get it moved by 1-2 pm today. I received a $39,300 quote from Victor's and when asked I said I wanted to pay cash. The salesman then said I should use their "One year same as cash" deal. You pay nothing and have no interest for the first year. I said OK, and when I talked to Greensky about the financing I learned the interest rate of the loan would be 24.9%. I immediately cancelled and here is why. If something happens and I can't pay the whole balance by the end of the year, I immediately owe $10,000 or so! Then I am forced into monthly payments for nine years. The interest I would have to pay over that time is over $40,000, so the total paid for my roof would be $83000! Now what if I tried to get another loan to pay Greensky off in full? Most banks would refuse me a new loan because of the major debt to Greensky. read more

Oh, how I regret calling Victors Roofing. I thought I did everything right. I called Ken from WJR's "Inside Outside Show" sending him a photo of porch damage due to a roof leak. Ken recommended a home inspector. The home inspector gave our roof and sun porch roof a thorough exam. He said we needed a new roof to resolve our problem. I asked about a Victors, as I saw the commercials and believed the hype. The home inspector agreed that Victors would be a good roofer for such a situation. Surprisingly, a Victors inspector (aka salesman) came out that same day. He saw the leak area which motivated our call. He hurriedly wrote up a contract and insisted on a personal check for 13k. It was definitely "hurry, hurry, hurry!" Before this I commented that maybe we should get another opinion. The salesman warned that our 19 year old roof could actually collapse! (At this point I should have bid him goodbye.) Just days later, June 30th, nine hardworking Mexicans were on our roof. Only one spoke English. We did not involve ourselves with their work and didn't mention the leak area. As the crew left the man in charge told my husband "No leaks, no leaks!" And he was right for one day...July 2nd it rained and it leaked. I could go into more detail. As I type this it's July 26th and Victors claims zero responsibility. In a classic "bait & switch" tactic, they sold us a new roof when we specifically contacted them about the leak. If Victors either would not or could not deal with the leak, they should have been honest and told us so. Instead we were led to believe that when their work was completed our leak situation would be solved. What we got was a 42k roof...and the leaks we called them about. We are 83 and 71 years of age. We were not motivated by their 50 year warranty. Why would we be?! I feel we were deceived and taken advantage of. Then today we received a call from Victors. In spite of our leaking roof they called because they want their money. Now. Not in 30 days. Now! I should add that chances are you won't get your 21 point roof review, free solar fan, or $500 off your new roof! There's a catch for all of those items. Oh, and you'll be told you'll get money off if you agree to pay cash...but they can't tell you how much off! And don't expect a breakdown of expenses in your estimate. They won't divulge that either. "Buyer beware!" At age 71 and 83 we were played for fools by Victors Roofing. Don't be like us. read more

Angi recommended Victors. I do NOT! I called to schedule for a new roof and gutters estimate. They gave me a same day appointment, said they needed 1.5 hours and did not show up. I called when they were 35 minutes late, was put on hold, and then given a story that there had been an emergency and miscommunication. Hmmmmm. I have MANY other choices of roofing companies and Victors let me know right off the bat they could not be trusted. After reading some of the reviews I'm glad I'm looking elsewhere. read more

THIS PRICE WAS TWICE THE AMOUT PROPOSED BY THE 3 PREVIOUS ROOFING COMPANIES. This was outrageous and I told them that. Had a great experience with Victors. From the very beginning with the sales team, who were very professional, respectful (and even likeable!) they were thorough, answered any questions or concerns and made sure we had a deal that we were comfortable with. The team that came out to do the work was also very thorough and respectful. They were very hard workers and cleaned up any trace that they were ever here! We even got a thank you gift in the mail yesterday that made my kids very happy! Cookies! I would highly recommend hiring this company. After dealing with more "inexpensive" companies, I can absolutely say that you get what you pay for and those are just not worth the headache and hassle. Total scam artists. Victors came out to do a 21 point inspection and quote. After a hour inspection they show me a blank 21 point inspection sheet with only a price on it. 47600.00,on a roof which I got other quotes, including one from the builder who built it 25 years ago. The quote from him was 14000.00 for a 40 year roof, tear off and replace shingles, no other damage. Buyer beware of these high pressure lying salesman. We had our roof done last year, now that i know things are holding up i feel comfortable leaving a review, there were initially some ups and downs through the entire process. The price was definitely higher than most and they had to come back 2 or 3 times and fix some things but they stood true on their word of integrity. They redid anything that was not up to our expectations without any extra costs until we were happy with what we got. They reimbursement us for some landscape damage done and gave us a gift card for a restaurant, they even paid someone to fix our ceiling that had a stain on it that was there previous to them starting the job, it just got a little worse while they were trying to sort out how to get the leak to stop, so that was a pleasant surprise. Their biggest downfall seems to be communicating, we had someone who was like a case worker who was supposed to answer any of our questions but was pretty much useless, her name was marylin but i couldn't get her to answer a single email so we had to go straight to the source instead and contact the project manager who flaked on us with no heads up a few times for meetings that we were supposed to have. But overall even though it was frustrating at some points they did their job and got it done. read more

Buyer Beware Roof Experience: Avoid Victors Home Solutions I wanted to share my shopping experience with Victors Home Solutions. Let me say I am happy with how the roof turned out and the final product. But their sales practices are deceptive. My sales rep came to the house and evaluated my roof. I had no illusions that my roof was in good shape. It needed to be replaced. Victors touts themselves as roof specialists and will give an "honest" evaluation of your roof. I am sure you have seen the commercials. My rep went into the crawl space, on the roof, and presented photos of the roof. The cost was high, and my wife and I said no to the original offer but when they came down in price by $6,000.00, we agreed to the contract. This is where they got us. The price included three sheets of wood but any wood on top of that would be $85.00 per sheet. I asked our rep if he thought all of the wood on our roof would need replacing, and he said no. He said one side of our roof needed replacing but the other side of the roof was good and did not need replacing. But I knew that they would have to replace the wood on part of my roof. I knew this because other companies told us the same thing. Fast forward to the installation. The foreman showed me one board to be replaced and said others would need replacing as well. I told him that I knew some boards would need replacing. When we got to the end of the installation, they informed me that they had replaced all of the wood. Seventy-Three sheets. I was never under the impression that all the wood would need to be replaced. I requested photographs of my roof to justify all of the wood being replaced. They sent photos and only one photo showed one piece of wood with mold. I informed them that I felt scammed. I was told they reviewed the photos and stood by their decision and apologized that the rep did not set the expectation. I brought to their attention that they evaluated that all of my wood needed replacing from photographs but their roof specialist who was in my crawl space, on top of my roof, and told me all the wood did not need replacing could not tell me that all the wood needed replacing. I am now responsible for you guessed it $6,000.00 in wood replacement. Convenient? Suspicious? Yeah. They are shady. I am sure it is also a pure coincidence that after I put down my deposit the balance is almost the exact amount we qualified for in financing plus $700.00. So, beware of Victors. Good product but you will pay for it, and they will deceive you out of every penny you qualify for. read more

After getting three estimates for a roof replacement, I decided to go with victors even though they were by far the highest price. I chose Victors because I had issues with ventilation and needed a full re-deck on the house. I hear commercials every day for Victors on the radio and the reviews I read were positive. the work was done quickly-about 8 hours for both the house and garage. the cleanup was good. The big problem I have was that my vinyl siding was damaged when it was pulled away to allow the installers to slide flashing behind it. I ended up fixing the vinyl siding and replacing some pieces that had been nailed right through the face leaving exposed nails. When I was reinstalling the J channel I noticed there was flashing missing in one section. I took pictures and explained what happened and I emailed Victors. Victors agreed to send someone out to look at it and replace the missing flashing. An appointment was made for Friday after 3:00. Nobody showed up or called. I called the office and they said they would look into it and get back to me. Then early the next week, Victors sent me an email saying someone had been to my house and added the missing flashing. I was very shocked a company with a great reputation would send someone to a customers house without first contacting the homeowner. They came into my backyard went up on my garage and left without so much as a knock on the door or a phone call. Luckily my dog wasn't out at that time? After getting the email that a repair man was at my house and fixed the problem I went back up on the roof to take a look. I found my vinyl siding ripped away from the wall once again to allow the flashing cards to be tucked behind the vinyl siding. The J channel now has no nails holding it to the wall in about a four foot section. you can pull the siding away from the wall with your hand. Once again I reached out to Victors and sent pictures with my email. It's been a few weeks and nobody has followed up or reached out to me. Very disappointed with the service and communication after the initial job was done, I would not recommend using Victors Roofing. Left frustrated. read more

Was conned into thinking we needed a new roof. Salesmen got on the roof and took 3 photos of loose shingles and one screw popping up from shingle. They said all the shingles were bad and gave us a price of $74,000 to replace it along with some boards that were bad. We told them we were not going to pay that amount and he said he would step outside and call his boss, he returned after at the most 5 minutes and said he got it down to $50,000. My husband is compulsive and signed the contract (I am not just blaming Victors) I blame my husband also who they knew he was gullible and was an easy mark. Shame on these supposed christians. I told my husband to find the contract from the previous roofing company so we could see if it was still under warranty, he was not able to find it. The salesmen said this price would only be good for a few days so my husband felt he needed to sign right away. Well I found the old roofing contract after Victor's completed the work ugh. It was from C.S. Roofing who did a total tear off and reshingle with 30 year guarantee shingles, along with board replacement and chimney chase replacement and gutters for a total of $6,515.33. The work was quality and done in two days and guaranteed for 30 years, which we had done in August of 2007, so it did not need to be replaced. I feel the salesmen at Victors' ran a scam on us and do not want anyone else for fall for their scheme. The reason my husband fell for them was because they claimed they were Christian and put ads on Christian radio. They are far from that. I would like to receive money returned that they conned us out of how do you go from a roofing job in 2007 for $6,515.33 to $50,000 in 2024. Something just does not add up. Victor's owners need to refund us at least $20,000 that still gives you a heafty profit and maybe a clear conscious after what you did to us. read more

After having Victors work on our roof in the past with positive experience, we called them back to address a new problem. This time we were not so pleased. The sales guy put a hard sell on us for a new roof. He also tried to peddle some kind of coating on our current roof. We didn't buy it but we did shop around. We found reputable highly rated roofers willing to address our issue for less than half the price of Victors. We also received advice that the roof still had plenty of life. Just for comparison, we had the other companies quote a new roof with 3-levels of quality. None of the quotes came close to Victor's price. It's sad that something changed over the past couple of years that Victors is not so honest as they were in the past. The sales guy that we worked with before was straight forward and addressed the problem. He didn't try to sell us an unnecessary roofing job. Needless to say, we signed up with another company and will report back when the job is finished. Caveat emptor. Especially when you can't see what you are buying. read more

My husband and I just moved into our new home. After calling around for roofers in the area, I called Victor's. I was looking for someone to put on "vent covers" (inspector's language) that were open. I called asking if they have someone available to do such a task. I was told they would perform an inspection and then discuss what could be done. The gentleman who came out to do the inspection was wonderful. He made so many complimentary statements about the company and showed pictures about the current state of our roof, I decided to forego other appraisals. We were quickly called and confirmed availability for the following week for install. The dumpster was dropped off and work would begin soon thereafter. The onsite project manager left the property for a prolonged period(s) of time. This was a huge problem since not 1 of the roofers spoke English. Roofers and would just smile, nod their head or give my husband a thumbs up when he would go to find the gentleman. In the afternoon, we noticed that the work had stopped and the crew was sitting under the trees. Not enough supplies had been dropped in our driveway that morning, and they were waiting for another delivery. With the second delivery, the crew was working too fast to make up for lost time. My husband observed this first hand. When asked for a "5 star rating", we replied "NO". We explained our known issues (at that time) and those have been primarily resolved. However we did not know that when the crew was stripping off the old shingles, those shingles were being shoveled off the roof and much of it was landing on top of our central air unit. Approximately 10 days to two weeks after the roof was completed, we attempted to turn on the A/C. It was not running as it had been a few weeks prior. In fact, it wasn't running at all. We waited for the 1st repair man until after 8pm. When he finally arrived, took a 3 second assessment, collected his check and said he would be back tomorrow with the part. He never came back. When contacting his employer over several days, they just disconnected the call when they checked caller ID. After calling around for a 2nd company, we were able to find a service technician who was fabulous. He came out on the day of our call, inspected the unit and noted that wires had been severed to the condenser unit. He gave us those wires and showed us the burn marks inside the unit made by the sparking wires. After a discussion the gentleman, we were able to piece together what had happened. All of this was occurring during the hottest string of days in June. This was exceptionally problematic for our various health issues. Needless to say, not happy! Take time to go over and understand each and every contract commitment before signing. Take notes and review those notes while reviewing the contract with sales agent. If everything matches, proceed to review and sign each document. On install day: make sure you understand every step of the process for that day, ask questions, stay vigilant to walk around your property during the install, and make certain every promise made has been kept before giving the rating. read more

The new shingles were installed , and the roof repaired as soon as possible in 1 day. The workers and supervisors were respectful of our home, efficient, and cleaned up slick as a whistle. I recently had a roof installed on a rental home . The salesman was typical , I felt the price was higher than I thought he talked to his manager and came down on the price. Victors allowed for three sheets of plywood replacement anything over is $85 per sheet. I asked the salesman to call before the job started to let my tenants know , they showed up without notice . There installers replaced 38 sheets at $85 , they sent me 3 pictures which showed nothing. I talked to the installer manager , he did nothing for any adjustment in price . I felt they got the job didn't call before and then added $3200 in additional fee. would not recommend. read more

From the first to the last person that handled our roof/gutter job, we were impressed. Prompt and professional. When there was a delay (weather), we received quick text messages apologizing for the delay and informing us of the new plan to start two days later. One of the roofers offered to help my pregnant wife take in groceries with me. The end results are beautiful and have dropped our attic space by at least 10 degrees (due to the proper ventilation that we sorely needed). This company is fantastic. read more

A few weeks ago, I went online and requested a quote for roof repair and/or replacement. The first company to make contact was Victor's Home Solutions. They came out the next day. I was upfront with the sales representation and explained I was only seeking a quote. I wanted to get 3 to 4 quotes. The sales rep. Greg, looked at my attic, roof, took pictures and completed a presentation explaining how Victor's Solutions differs from other roofing companies. He gave me a quote. I asked if I would receive it in writing. He indicated he send that to me. He requested to see my driver's license, indicating he needed to run a credit check. He provided his iPad for me to enter my social security number and asked me to sign and/or initial for the credit check. Greg went on to say after the credit check that he really wanted my business and what could he do for me to sign with Victor's that day. I again, explained I really wanted a quote from multiple companies and asked if I could get back to him. Greg indicated that I had till Tuesday of the following week to get back to him or the quote would expire. I confirmed that I would make my decision by then as I had three other appointments in the coming days. The next business day I received a call from Victor's Home Solutions project manager indicating they were happy I was a part of the Victor's Solutions family and would be scheduling my installation date and preparing to order supplies. I explained to the project manager that I had not confirmed with Victor's, that I only requested a quote. The agent went on to say that I had signed up for a loan and was approved in the amount of $26,000 with a company called GreenSky. i indicated that was incorrect. She assured me of same. She indicated that I should have a signed contract via email. I reviewed my emails and there was an email from GreenSky confirm this loan. I contacted GreenSky and relayed all of the above to them and GreenSky indicated we have a signed contract. I explained that I only requested a quote. GreenSky indicated they would have to escalate my claim and someone would make contact at a later date. While I was awaiting a return call from GreenSky, I received another call and email from Victor's Solutions indicating an installation date and the need to order supplies. i also received a text from Greg, the sale representative that opened a credit account under false pretense. Greg basically taunting me via text, indicating I guess you'll be going with Victor's as those other companies didn't show up. (unsure how he knew that I was stood up by another roofing company), but he did. I did not respond. After a couple of days, I received a callback from GreenSky representative indicating that I signed up for this loan. I reiterated that it was under false pretense. So, after some back and forth, they indicated they would close the loan. They were not able to do anything about the hard hit on my credit report. I requested verification. They indicated they would send an email. I received a generic email, indicating that they received my request. I made contact with GreenSky again and requested something in writing indicating the loan was closed. I was provided a timeframe of 7-10 business days. I am in receipt of the letter, indicating the loan is closed. I would say Buyer Beware. Victor's sales representative purposely signed me up for a loan, when I repeatedly indicated I only wanted a quote. This will stay on my credit report for 2 years. I work very hard and in my time of need this company attempted to take advantage of me. read more

Well, it all started on a rainy Sunday afternoon with a leak, I made a phone call and left a message. Someone called back in about 20 minutes and we had an appointment set for the next day(Monday) I'm sorry i don't remember her name, but she brought a calmness to the siltation and me. The gentlemen that came out was Dominic. He was very polite and we talked about the problems we were having. after that he explained in detail what the process was and what steps he'd be talking, afterwards he would go over his findings with a video explaining everything he found. He took about 35 minutes, and in that time, he went up on the roof and in the attic. Afterward, he had a video that showed us exactly what was wrong and where the leak was coming from, and what steps we could take. My entire experience with Victors roofing and especially Dominic was incredible. Dominic is welcome in our home anytime!!! I highly recommend them, and ask for Dominic!! I think most home owners dread the process of buying windows,siding, roofing, and other services. I am not sure what can be done it is grueling to have to sit and listen to a sales man or woman try to sell themselves, the company they work for, and the product they are trying to sell you. I wish there was an easier way to navigate through this hectic mess. Home owners its extremely important to get three quotes so you can compare . Do not make buying decisions on your likeing the sales person or fall for the move if you buy it now we can take a certain amount off the quote. If you have roofing or gutter needs, this is the company to call! They are truly professionals and do great work! I could not write enough good things about them! The estimate process: Not only was scheduling the estimate easy - I sent a message through yelp at 8pm and had a response within an hour - Brennan showed up on time to the appointment and walked me through the entire estimate process. He even took video of the roof so I could see exactly what he was talking about when he was explaining the quote to me. The quote was pretty detailed and laid out the tear off, installation, clean up, and even the warranty stuff. Installation: I couldn't believe how fast they were able to schedule me in for install. They finished the installation about a week after I gave the go ahead and it only took them one day to finish my 2 gar garage with a ridiculously steep pitch. I really think the only reason it was pushed out by about a week was because of the snow. I read up on reviews of this company prior to requesting a quote and every good one that I read truly describes Victor's. I'm not sure about the ones with poorer ratings, but the common denominator is Victors Roofing of all the reviews and a majority of their reviews are good.....so I would say the problem isn't this company - it's those people. read more

We are very very happy with Victors with the work completed on our roof. The workers were very organized & worked non stop. They had a very good leader among them. For giving us a new complete roof, new skylite, new shingles etc it took approx 6 hrs. We were amazed. They also had a screening around the house to prevent window damage etc. Never thought we would have such a great experience. Need other construction companies to learn from there example. read more

A thorough analysis of my roof showed no signs of trouble. Yet the estimate, which was not provided on paper, was 94% higher than the next closest offer. A fictional organization was referenced regarding the "average" cost of roof replacement. When called out on the validity of the pricing model, the sales person departed without explanation. Later, Email correspondence and phone conversations verified there were no mistakes in the measurements and the price offered was accurate and representative of what Victors was willing to provide. I strongly suggest doing your homework regarding labor rates and material costs before hiring this company. read more

Beware. They took advantage of my 80 year old mother who choose this company because of add with Paul W Smith. After what they claim is a thorough inspection they recommended a spray - roof max that would extend the life 5+ years. One year later they recommend a full replacement because of leaking. They wouldn't honor the warranty. Offered to apply it to the new roof, the quoted double fair market price. read more

Avoid this company. A tree fell on my roof and they came out to evaluate it. There was a 3" hole on a flat area of the roof and no other damage. He claimed that the brush marks on the roof were "heavy damage" and the entire roof had to be replaced. He asked what my insurance allowed and low and behold, it was the exact amount!!!!! The guy clearly thought that he could intimidate a woman into accepting what he said. What a joke. I asked another company and they said it would cost less than $100 to cover the 3" hole and that the roof was fine. I climbed up to the roof myself and could brush off the marks with my had. This company tried to scam me and do completely unnecessary repairs. Avoid them like the plague read more

I give this rating not because their work was bad, but how they handled a gift card situation. Both my friend and I had work done by Victor's she had her roof fixed first and received a gift card for up to $500 being a 10% money discount off your final bill. I did not receive this gift card from her until after the initial inspection of my home. I have called Victor several times and asked and told them the situation and that I did not receive the gift card from my friend until after she had her work done. They just kept reiterating that if you don't have the gift card when you we first come out we can't do anything for you. So beware of a gift card situation because if you think you're getting any money off the price they've charged you you are wrong! Basically I feel the reason they want you to have the gift card when they come to your house is a simple fact is they might charge you $5,500 and oh you got a gift card I'm going to take $500 off for you. So yes the repairman and the work they did were awesome the financial end of it sucks. read more
