I had all 13 windows in my home replaced by Victory Home Remodeling approximately two years ago. Prior to their installation, there was no rot, no water intrusion, and no leaks in any of the affected areas. I am now dealing with extensive water intrusion and damage in the areas where they worked. Victory has acknowledged that their capping work was poor and that the windows were not properly sealed during installation -- issues that affected all 13 windows, not a one-off mistake. The damage I am now seeing is the same across every window. These installation defects were also confirmed by an independent third-party inspection. Victory returned to my home to redo the defective capping and to seal the windows. When they removed the original capping, the rot beneath was exposed and became visible. Victory's own work uncovered the damage. Despite acknowledging defective installation AND uncovering the resulting damage themselves, Victory's response has been to label the damage "pre-existing" and minimize their responsibility. The damage was not pre-existing. This claim is a deflection -- an attempt to avoid responsibility for damage caused by their own admittedly defective installation. This position is also directly contradicted by Victory's own marketing. In a promotional video on their social media, their representative states: "They'll inspect for any rotted sills. If there is rotted wood we're gonna go ahead and scab it out. Victory is not going to install one of our replacement windows into any form of rotted framing." I have complete documentation and an independent inspection has been conducted. I am hoping Victory will reconsider their position and stand behind their work and their own stated commitments. I would caution other homeowners to document conditions thoroughly before, during, and after any installation, to keep copies of all photos the contractor takes, and to save any marketing materials containing promises about installation standards. Pay close attention to how a company responds when something goes wrong -- that response tells you more about them than their sales pitch does. We had two home projects with Victory and we ran into issues with both! We had 2 sales man come to us and sold us to use their company, little did we know what a mistake trusting salesmen would be. Our first project was our roof, the materials were great and we knew what we were paying for ((plus the warranty)) however, during the install they came through our bedroom ceiling, dropped a sheet of plywood to be exact. We also had no point of contact, to tell someone about the issue. We gave them the benefit of the doubt being we have such a steep roof, and a gentlemen came out 48 hours later to patch up the hole, but left us with paint matching... Now to the second project, the windows. Had to wait 2 weeks for custom built windows only for them to show up and not know they were installing the incorrect windows on the FRONT of the house until we said something. So we had to wait another 2 weeks for the correct style windows. Leaving our home looking half complete from the front. After the window situation we asked to speak to our project manager Matt, who got his Director Corey involved about our whole experience. We were told both of them would come to install the final 2 CORRECT windows. They scheduled WITH US for Saturday 5/24 ((memorial day weekend)) only to have Matt show up, and we got stood up by the director Corey. Matt offered us a discount, that we couldn't understand. We reached out to that director still no call back... No final inspection or walk through was ever completed, like promised. We were promised our home would be treated as if it were their own, and sadly that didn't happen. The tarps fell down during the roof install, they took out our wires in the backyard. Just careless things. After the windows we walked around the property and picked up 2 handlful of metal framing and debris. We have a dog they knew this too. *** ADDING: 2 months and few days later we have leaks in 2 different spots on our brand new roof!!! These people are awful and from what I can gather they're also scammers. We've lived in our house for about three years now and they've solicited at our house over 40 times at this point. They beat on the door like they're the FBI, wait 30 seconds, do it again and then immediately ring the doorbell. The last time they came, the guy who looked like a strung out jack Osbourne was beating super aggressively on my door and I asked him to stop, that my daughter is sleeping and I am not opening the door. He asked me what was going on with our roof, which is so ridiculous after I had literally just asked him to stop and leave, since we are just about to start repairs and I asked him again to please go away, my child is napping. He then beat on my door again, told me f*** you good luck with your f***** up roof, and then threw his trash on my lawn as he left. Disgusting. As if I would ever open the door to a guy like that behaving that way, especially when I'm at home alone with my three year old and my husband is at work. I have called this company multiple times and asked them to not come to our house anymore and they clearly don't care. Do not open your door to them, do not schedule an appointment for a consultation because apparently they won't leave your house for four hours and will give you an estimate that is 3x the price of other companies, and don't even talk to them because from what I can gather they're also vindictive and will try to make your life a living hell by calling, texting, emailing, and showing up incessantly if you piss them off. They're all scumbags. No reputable company is going to have a bunch of inexperienced 20 somethings trolling a neighborhood in 90° heat on foot who don't even have any decency or understanding of how to act or speak to people in an appropriate way, especially if they want your business. read more

My complaint is about a pushy and yes, even creepy salesperson that knocked at my door. I work from home and was on a conference call with my boss, but he was persistent with his knocking and my dog was going crazy so I went to the door. As soon as I saw him, I shook my head, I said no thank you, not interested in what you're selling and I am on a call with my boss. He persisted and said "I'm just dropping by to say hello." I should have closed the door but I said no you're not, you're going to try to sell me something, and I'm not interested, plus I'm on a call with my boss. He said when should I come back? I said please don't come back ever, as I said I'm not interested. He said "are you ok?" which I though very odd so I said please leave now. He again said when should I come back. I said "Ok, now I feel like you're harassing me, so get off my property and don't come back" He finally left, but I was left with a very unsettled feeling as a woman home alone and a smug and persistent young man. read more

I cannot say enough amazing, genuine and wonderful things about this family! And I say family because that's exactly what they are and mean to me and my family since they came into our lives and changed our house into a more safe home for me and my family to continue living in. They are the most genuine people I have ever come to meet, from the sales men to the contractors, social media, camera/ video people, every single person in this company/ family is absolutely genuine and it just warms my heart and soul knowing there are these good people that still exist in this crazy world we live in today, me and my family are forever grateful for their support and generosity to creating a safe beautiful home for us here. We just got 7 windows replaced by victory home remodeling of Melville. From start to finish the experience was second to none. The salesmen were very knowledgeable and believed in the product they are selling. When the crew showed up they greeted me and explained exactly what they were going to do. Right away they started putting down tarps to keep the house clean. They repaired some damaged wood on my front windows and had to reframe one of my back windows at no extra charge. I will definitely use this company for future projects and also recommend to anyone who needs windows and other projects. Again I'm very pleased with every aspect from start to finish. my experience with the window installation was everything I expected. the installers were here on time and started working immediately. the job was completed in the time frame that was given to me and the home was left as clean as when they started. the windows are high end and look very nice. the communication thru the process was excellent. I also like that Victory is both the supplier and the installer, being responsible for everything if there are any problems, either during the process or going forward after the installation. The whole experience has been absolutely wonderful. everyone we spoke too was polite, informative and ensured that all of our questions were answered. They completed the job in one day and showed up on time. For me the biggest thing was they were so open with their communication and it meant a lot. The service was prompt but for the price it should be. Double teamed when they come for the quote and pressured. I guess buyers remorse as after doing my research on pricing I found them to be over 40 to 50% higher than every other contractor out there, my fault but buyers beware, get other prices first BEFORE YOU SIGN. From the start with the sales gal I was sold. She was smart well informed and sweet. Also we thought the price was good for all Victory offered. The whole process took three days. The sales pitch the delivery of the dumpster and supplies and the install of the roof. I used victory to replace all the windows in the main floor if my house. I was very impressed with them. From the beginning Tommy came and covered everything we needed to know. We signed that day. Corey cane and remeasured the windows to make sure if the measurements. They came on the. scheduled day and time. The crew was great.
