Genesis reached out to me and said they would check my vehicle for leaks. They found no leaks so I will monitor it for a while to see what happens. They initially did tell me that the evaporator was clogged and that performance may decline over time, but I feel the air is way too cold for there to be a restriction. Time will tell. Unfortunately after the purchase my experience trying to address concerns and reach a reasonable outcome was extremely disappointing. What was presented during the sale did not fully align with the reality of the coverage and support I later received. When I attempted to communicate my concerns and work toward a fair resolution I was dismissed rather than helped. The sales and office staff were quick to emphasize warranties and protections during the buying process but far less responsive once issues were brought forward afterward. I understand dealerships are businesses but transparency and accountability matter especially when customers are making major financial decisions based on representations about warranty protection and vehicle reliability. My experience left me misled by some of the sales practices used to secure the purchase. I had to go ride around to point out the issue!!!! Now it's a waiting game as they switch out parts........ are you serious!?!? Very unprofessional business.
