Easy 4 stars with room to improve. 2 month update…read more Purchased a 2024 Ford Maverick Hybrid on 3/25/26. The truck itself I am very happy with. 4,000 miles in, on 3 different trips and it's been awesome! Staff was all friendly and I had a great test drive. The manager, Anthony, was very knowledgeable and also very human, which was my favorite part. He understood my personal situation and we worked together to find a great middle ground. Few of my questions went unanswered and few things on their end were forgotten which made multiple trips back, but it's small human errors and it was near the end of the day. The 1 star loss for me. Having to go back after paperwork was final and also having to go to another dealership for the second key. The other half is about the truck itself. The outside body was clean, but interior was clean ish and the bed was straight up dirty. Buying used I get that it's not Brand New Car with a bow, but to me, the least could have been the cleaning and taking off any black marker writing on the main windshield. The bed was for sure forgotten, probably because it had the cover. Oh well, little dirt, no dents or dings tho. Overall I would DEFINITELY give DuPratt ford my business again. Thank you so much for being a warm, welcoming team.

Some good, some bad and one really bad one. But Hyundai of Vacaville stood far above the rest. I have purchased many cars in the past and this was one of, if not the best experience in doing so. I am very happy with my choice and will be recommending Andrew with confidence.

Over the past few days, I've been working out a deal for a Rivian on this lot. After a lot of back…read morein forth, we settled on a price I was comfortable with and I came in to test drive the car. When inspecting the car, I noticed how unkept it was. Mounds of sand in the front truck, the storage tunnel had drawings made with crayons on it. Just unkept and filthy everywhere. I test drove the car and noticed it had a slight pull to the left, which made me question the vehicles history, and asked for a full report. The car had an open recall, and when I asked the manager about fixing it, he tried to sell me on how they sell cars with recalls all the time and took no ownership over the issue. He stated that because Rivian has a slower turnaround time, that they refused contacting them about the truck I was interested in. Basically putting the issue on me. They clearly didn't recondition the car. Rushed it to market, and haven't invested anything into it. The sales rep was fine - more of a yes man - even agreeing with me on things I found questionable. The sales manager - Mike - refused to take ownership of anything and offerd no solutions to valid questions/issues.

However, a well-known brand with employees motivated to deceive customers eventually faces negative reviews, loss of repeat business, and customer dissatisfaction. This ultimately undermines the company's value and mission. I witnessed this firsthand at a dealership when my family and I visited to purchase a car for my son's college commute. The initial experience was promising, with all the promises and willingness to collaborate to make the purchase as seamless and effortless as possible. However, as the process progressed, the transparency and accountability became questionable. Prices were calculated backward based on the customer's monthly payment expectations, resulting in inflated interest rates for in-house financing. Additionally, they included coverage for repair and maintenance, essentially treating the customer as their bank to secure their predetermined goal to achieve and misleading them into believing that there was no alternative. I have also been informed that the dealership determines the interest rate a customer will receive. While they do conduct credit checks, these are not presented to the buyer, revealing which bank offered what at an open interest rate exchange offer after the credit checks were completed. This raises concerns about the transparency of the arms-length transaction. I am aware that this is not a novel practice for the dealership, as it aligns with their financial objectives. However, the question remains: at whose expense? For instance, if the dealership is unaware of this activity, why did they not cease this unethical business practice in the interest of its customers and business? When I visited Yelp, I discovered numerous similar concerns regarding this type of practice. A short-term incentive for employees' sales creates a trust issue with the brand name and results in the loss of valuable customers. This is a long-term investment for customers, and they cannot terminate it if they are on loan repayment. In reality, when purchasing a car from a dealership, the customer loses the actual purchase value immediately and cannot sell it to recover their investment. The customer is left in a predicament when the dealership employee refuses to rectify the error they have made. If they did, it takes weeks and months to resolve the issue. Surprisingly, I discovered that the dealership transfers the documents onto a USB drive and requires the customer to sign digitally. The customer does not have access to the entire document; they are only provided with the pages that do not contain the charge breakdown or which may raise suspicions. During the payment process, the employee tapped my credit card on the payment device for a security deposit. This is an unbelievable occurrence, and the employee initially maintains a composed demeanor, presenting themselves as the most ethical individual. A month has passed and I'm still waiting for my extra charge reversal to go to the lending bank. I am paying interest on it? I sincerely hope that this business considers my experience with them and addresses the flaws in their business practices to establish a repeatable business model that benefits both its customers and the industry. I can be reached in need.
