The next day we had offers that we thought weren't high enough but by the next afternoon he had the boat sold for what we thought was fair. Best decision I ever made to have them sell the boat. Can not say enough good things about the service and friendly people I dealt with. I would recommend them to anyone from my dealings with them. Call them first if you need anything to do with boats or boating.

When I received the bill they were charging me for changing the hub and the water pump impeller. I asked them why and they said that is general service but the impeller is not required for another 150 hours and there is nothing wrong with the hub. It is a hub design they have never seen before. They stated "we have never seen a hub like that". They changed the hub because they thought it was bad but that is how this style of hub is even when new. I don't understand how they can determine a hub is bad if they don't know anything about that style of hub. I called and told them that I did not request or authorize these changes and got transferred to the service manager. This service manager just kept making excuses saying Mercury manufacturer suggested maintenance is not correct and Mercury has no idea what they are doing. They then proceeded to talk to me in a condescending manner and were very rude trying to justify their actions rather than fix the issue. I requested to talk to their manager and when talking to them they claimed "manufacturer maintenance says to inspect the hub and water pump impeller, so if we inspect it we might as well replace it". They also tried to go on and say that Mercury manufacturer suggested maintenance is a bad guide to follow. Overall terrible business running a scam of up charging everything while trying to rip off customers.

One of the owners was the person I was speaking with. We were very impressed at how pleasant everyone there was throughout the repair process that we thought we would give them a quick look for a new tritoon we were considering. There was a boat show in the area the day we scheduled our appointment with Todd (we had to do our due diligence, as this was new territory to us). Todd was very personable and professional, making us feel at home. They had a nice selection of new pontoons inside their facility, which was nice since it was raining that day. We were able to strike a deal with Todd and decided to keep the business local. We were told the boat would take 8-10 weeks to come in, since it was a new build with the options we wanted. I got a call from Todd about 5 weeks later saying it was in! The problem was that our boat lift wasn't ready for the new configuration, and the lift company couldn't get out for another 1-2 weeks. Todd and the good folks over at Lewis agreed to keep the boat on their lot until it was ready, which helped us out considerably with coordination efforts (at no charge, by the way). In short, I would highly recommend this company. They won us over with the service department initially, but ended up impressing us even more with their sales staff and process. We will definitely look to these guys if/when my wife gives me the green light for that bass boat ; )

I must say it was a bit unnerving purchasing such an expensive item without having an opportunity to do a first-hand examination. Yachts to Sea made this entire transaction not only easy, they made it enjoyable. From the very first day Jerry and Brandon and their wonderful staff were attentive, kind and extremely knowledgeable. The boat arrived in Seattle in perfect condition and was even more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. During the past years we've had numerous questions, purchases, and adaptations we've wanted to make. My husband loves to customize his new toy. On each occasion they took the time to go over what we needed and would then explore our options. They gave us an answer immediately or got back to us once they checked with their parts and service staff. On several occasions they worked with the manufacturer to find great solutions. Each time I felt I was working with friends who really cared. ("Hi Helen. How's the family and how's that beautiful Chaparral.") Without a doubt Yachts to Sea is an absolutely excellent company and we give it the highest possible recommendation. I can frankly say they are one of the best companies we've ever dealt with and that's saying a lot since we've been around the block quite a bit.

Because of how they treated me with those repairs, I knew that next time I purchased a boat it would be from them, and I was not disappointed. I just purchased a new Lowe Stinger 175c. Andy was thorough in explaining the model differences and the variations that were available. They didn't try to upsell anything at all. Deb had all the paperwork set out ready to go in advance and they made the process as quick and easy as possible. They are consummate professionals and have a customer for life in us. They responded to calls very quickly even when I came in twice before buying! They treat you with respect and are genuinely dedicated to making sure you enjoy your time on the water. I took it on the water 5x last summer. In the last outing I had trouble with the starter. Took them over 4 months to get a new one due to supply issues (fine). When installing they find the mechanic who installed the first one, broke the thread mold on the power head casing and used epoxy to hold it in. They ordered a used power head and changed everything over. Don't know the run hours. In the course of connecting powerhead to lower unit they left out 2 bolts and one fell out. Also, broke the cowling at every screw point on the case - claimed it was already that way. Sloppiest workmanship I have ever seen! Don't take your boat there for repair! No accountability at all.
