I had Kim at this salon prior, doing same exact thing and was happy. She relocated I tried the highest level stylist there currently. After extensive talking, pictures, and signed a paper- all stating heavy bleach highlight. I had baby light looking highlights very natural at end of appointment. I didn't get any concern from salon after calling the week of and salon actually stated she seen stylist put heavy highlight. Nobody can tell i got my hair done. I have been doing this style for years and it was most amount of my natural ever left out during a highlight I have ever experienced. I got told I was wrong from the salon and it was heavy. The salon has done this for me before. This it was not even in the ballpark of the same thing. Anyhow I have an appointment somewhere else to get heavy blonde highlights and the $225 will be wasted on this place. Didn't get any work really on my hair and the baby hairs in front not done it looks like my natural with some accents. I was also in car with someone during the call they couldn't believe the tone and attitude towards me. The salon and I disagreed. my hair is the proof im not blonde at all, a ton of my natural was left out. Salon kept stating I signed a paper.... Update Review: This is my 2nd time here. My original stylist left, and I was scheduled with someone else. After the initial consult, we did agree that I wanted overall brightness, but I also wanted it to make sense in terms of maintenance since the salon charges by the ounce for product use. She suggested highlighting from root to tip. I have indeed done this before, and with experience colorist, it can be done without orange/brass left in my hair. The root of my hair is supposed to be darker, and the highlights should be cooled. Right now, I feel like my hair has been lit on fire. It's very Orange. When I approached another colorist, she asked if I did this at home. So, you might already guess that I will be fixing this elsewhere. So, first, I had a full foil all over, just leaving my root that had just grown. That was washed off, and more bleach was applied to my roots. After that was washed off and dried, toner was applied. The process took nearly 6 hours. And my stylist, for some reason, kept me turned away from the mirror. She was very nice and seemed to really want this to work. She offered to fix it and kept saying "it's your hair not mine". No, I get it, but do you get it? Can you really say this is your best work? Most colorists I love are obsessed with sending their clients out perfect. Is this work you can be proud of? No but you don't want to eat the cost either - I get it. I chose not to fix my hair for the following reason: No toning on earth is going to help this. It needs root darkening. I'm not investing anymore time. If she uses more products, I will be charged per ounce. The total was already $420. I added an $80 tip because she genuinely was trying and was quite pitiful. I felt bad for her, and she seemed to need a win more than I did. Together, I've spent almost $1000 (2 total visits) to come out looking like I did a home coloring job - is laughable. I think the pricing structure is a bit unrealistic given the experience. I also blame myself. I felt like maybe I should have look elsewhere since I wasn't fond of the salon to begin with, but I was lazy. read more

I was on a time crunch and needed to have my hair done ASAP and only had one day off. I called 15 different hair salons on a Wednesday morning and was told that there were no appointments available (side note: these places were called and sorted by distance, not by preference or quality). So finally, Victory Salon was #16 on the list since they were further away from my place. Erin answered and told me that they were booked as well and I was once again let down. But then! She worked her magic and called me back saying that she could squeeze me in! Hallelujah! When I got there, I was seen right on time. After a quick consult with Tina, we got started on a 3-hour bayalage process. Tina is very friendly, sweet, detail-oriented, conversational, and the quality of her work exceeded my expectations. Even though I had to sit there for 3 hours, Tina definitely made it worth it. Plus I wasn't bored because she's fun to talk to. I love the results! The only thing I would change is that I wish the color came up a bit higher. But other than that, I'm very happy with my haircut and bayalage. I'll definitely keep coming back! I would never recommend this salon to anyone. I'm an online blogger for all things fashion and beauty. I went into this salon to get a service that was available at the time of making the appointment but not at the time of service. Their parking is the worlds smallest lot I've ever been to. Not only is the salon scary looking from the outside but when walking in, it feels like a prison cell. The cheap decor, low ceilings and bars on the windows remind me of my days in a rehabilitation center. I had flashbacks for a sec. Walking in, there was a dead roach at the door which I pretended not to notice. The staff is not only not knowledgeable about services but also have attitude. To say I'm disappointed would be an understatement. If I could give zero stars, I would. First appt- I was new to the area and after a lot of research, I decided to give Victory Salon a try. My first appointment with Miranda was going from my natural hair color (dirty blonde/light brown) to platinum blonde. She told me up front it might take a couple sessions- understandable. She insisted on giving me a dark root, which I didn't really want because I'm in the military and everything needs to look natural. She told me to trust her and if I didn't like it we would fix on the next appt. Second appt- I come back to have the yellowing removed. Touch up my roots and go lighter/brighten the existing blonde. I told her I DID NOT like the darker root and didn't want any of the darker color she put on the last time. She says she knows "just what to do." She said she's going to lighten and brighten me and put a blonde permanent color on my roots, but assures me it won't be dark and contrasting like the first appt. We get finished and it looks like the exact same color as the first appt, but now my hair is also tinted purple from the toner. I said "is my hair purple??" She said "it's lavender...from the toner." I said "my hair can't be lavender, I'm in the military. I can't go to work on Monday like this. This is not what I wanted. I told you I didn't want the darker root." She says she's going to fix it and to "trust her." She has the owner, Melissa, come over and they talk about what to do with my hair. She said she's going to "remove the warmth from my roots" and is going to fix it. I'm not sure what she did, but now my roots are even darker than the first time and my hair is tinted gray. The owner did try to see what they could do to fix it, but at that point, 5pm on a Saturday when they are closed the next day, nothing can be done. I can't go to work like this so I have to fix this before Monday. I said there's nothing we can so, I'll dye it myself when I get home. To add insult to injury, the owner said she still needed to charge me for her time and charged me $100. The photo on the left is from my first appt. Recently moved here and we all know how hard it is to find a new barber that can figure out the in's and out's of your hair like your old one. Here? Not a problem. Had an appointment with Priscilla and explained how I wanted my haircut and she got down to business. Haircut came out perfect. Although everyone was really nice, I did NOT get the cut I asked for. When I sent messages to see if there was anyone at the shop who could cut my hair this way, I also sent photos. Once I got there, I explained what I wanted and showed pictures again. I started off by saying that I didn't want it too short, just trimmed a little and a little off the back to stack it, slightly. I stopped her in the middle of the cut to let her know that one side was already shorter than I wanted it to be, and to just angle it a little and stack the back, just a little because I didn't want it too short. The pics in the pink shirt are the cut I have now, and the other pics are the ones I showed the stylist. I absolutely hate my hair now and it makes me sad to feel ugly and I can't even do anything to fix it because its just too short. After the first session my hair looked fine but wasn't what I originally wanted. They told me I would need multiple sessions to get the look I wanted so I continued to go.
