They picked up on time, were very careful in transport and delivered 2 16' units intact after 4 months of storage. There was even a time I thought I needed something out of one of the units. They had asked for 24 hours' notice to pull from storage and set up in an area for opening. It was there in the staging place when I arrived but because it was so well packed, I couldn't find the item. they put it back into storage and all this at no charge to me. I am really glad I went with them. They really have their act together and saved me 1000s to make this move with storage over moving companies I had interviewed. I would definitely use them again!

DO NOT USE PACKRAT! We used them for 3 years as we moved…read morearound, had no issues with them dropping off or picking up our container UNTIL it was time to finally pick it up and cancel service. We scheduled drop off and pick up at the same time, about 2 months out. Container was supposed to be dropped off and then 3 days later, be picked up empty and our service canceled. It was dropped off with no issues but then never picked up. We called and were told SOMEHOW our pick up was canceled and they do not know why or even who did it and the earliest date for pick up is now a week and a half later. Just adding to our monthly bill... welp it was now supposed to be picked up today and we were told it was canceled again and the earliest is 1 week out from today now! Keep in mind, it is not sitting where we live! It is at a friend's house and we had movers unload it there. Now our relationship with our friends is being stressed, and we are paying for a container for over half a month after it was supposed to be canceled. Just making sure to suck more money from us! Never use packrat! We will not be using again!

I booked my appointment and identified the items I wanted stored however, once they actually stored my belongings I got a message that I would actually need a larger storage space. The actual space is never shown to you in any way. The also are supposed to itemize what you store with them with photo proof. When I saw my itemized photos it showed the boxes but not the items inside and some were duplicated. Immediately complained when I noticed the duplications and I was thankful I didn't store my computer with them because they would have easily gone "missing". Then the day I requested my belongings to be returned. My couch is returned with a broken leg which the movers on site took immediate responsibility for. I had purchased insurance through there company so I make a claim. However, if the claim is approved for $150.00 which is way below estimates I submitted and didn't fact in transport of the item. Once again I submit a complaint and they say that they don't cover transport or onsite repair fees. I took the $150.00 but I would never work with this company nor would I recommend them to a friend or even an enemy. Nothing was honest or upfront about the entire process. Never again!

The price was fair and Mitch was very helpful during the whole process. The movers that I had, Esau, Thomas, and Shawn were all incredibly friendly and efficient. In fact, they were the same guys my mother had for her move only 7 months prior! These guys got to my original location early and were careful, as well as intelligent, instead of being the stereotypical yes men that I have seen movers be in the past. For 6 hours of work (the travel time to Brooklyn was the biggest part of the move), everything I packed survived the move. They even put my mother's bed back together prior to them leaving for Brooklyn. That was very nice of them. What started out as a good day ended up being one of the worst days of my life. i had moved the same stuff 3 months ago with another mover and it took 3 hours and cost me 800. ( three men ). simply elite quoted me around the same price so I went with them as other reviews seemed positive. This time they came with a rented truck with a broken lift gate, a new foreman and one of the other men who had only been moving 3 months. while they were very nice this move took over 8 hours and this was with me unwrapping the furniture as it came in and folding up their blankets. My sister and I were also helping them to bring my belongings up to my apartment. They nickel snd dimed me on everything and then held the last of my furniture hostage until I paid the bill. The final bill was over 2300. when I complained they took off 200 which was a complete joke. The bigger loss was My mothers diamond engagement ring was also missing. It had been in my jewelry armoire which I had taped shut do that it would be secure while moving. I had not realized until later that evening that they had removed my tape under the guise that they were protecting it from damage. Yes.. my mistake trusting that it would be safe . I am devastated by this loss. This was my great grandmothers ring and cannot be replaced emotionally or financially. financially. I went out to the truck to see if maybe it had fallen out in there, but was unable to find it. I spoke to management of the company who claimed that a lot of people have lost things, and they find it the next day. Hopefully, this will be the end of my story, and I will update this review, but as of now it is still not found. If I ever have to move again, I will make sure that the estimate is with a FaceTime review, so I don't get charged over three times. The amount initially quoted, and I will never ever leave anything of value out of my site.
