Every time I have walked in there, it's a chaotic mess, unclean, disorganized, packed in, and so hurried. the last time I was there, I went with my mom and SIL. my mom and I got mani/pedis and my SIL gel nails. first off, they are extremely overpriced for what you get and that's IF you get the services from their menu actually done. The lady that did my nails was distracted, talking to her co worker, looking around constantly. I chose the luxury pedi and classic massage. She only did it for 10 minutes instead of 16 like the menu stated. used the wrong color on my nails, did a half-butt job for $75! my classic pedi at $35 was an absolute joke, the massage if you can call it that lasted 1 maybe two minutes. and seriously a child could have painted the clear polish I asked for on my nails better. i didn't even ask her to cut my cuticles and she still did a poor job of filing/cleaning them up. I have no clue why I tipped her as much as I did. there needs to be way better management of the place, they need to actually clean it , sanitize it snd organize it (it's so gross and discombobulated in there), and the staff needs to be trained properly and held accountable for their work. (be consistent with the treatments/do the things on the menu that people are paying for), stop getting distracted and not concentrating on the job at hand. maybe have the staff wear uniforms so we know who's who. the only saving grace was that my mom got a really good lady, Haley to do her mani/pedi. she was wonderful to my mom and took her time. if only all the staff were like haley. anyway, not ever going back there again. too many bad experiences to pay much money for.

I think that's who I had the first time. This time, there was really a lack of service. He was nice and all, but I wasn't asked what type of pedicure I wanted. I usually get with a basic pedicure, a scrub, hot towels, a massage, maybe lotion. This time I only get a scrub and some towels. I asked about a massage as well and said I would pay extra but I was sort of dismissed. I wonder if this is because it was close to closing. They closed at 5, but I called at 3:15 and was told to come at 4. I sat there for about half an hour before my service started. Not a bad experience, but in today's world everything is so expensive so i'd prefer to get my moneys worth.

When I came in they continued to tell me that it was my fault my nails changed from white to yellow, then in the middle of getting my refund a lady come up, snatched my hand and started rubbing the nail polish off. To say I'm pissed is an understatement. There is a difference between letting me know that you will be taking the polish off with the refund (which would have been completely fine because these nails are disgusting looking) and just snatching my hand, touching me without permission OR without saying anything and rubbing it off. Extremely rude. Extremely unprofessional. And blaming the customer till the very end is just unbelievable.

The male half of the ownership was always very kind and respectful to both myself and my small dog. However the same cannot be said for his wife, Jenny. I've visited this shop about 5-6 times, but will not be coming back or recommending this place to anyone based on my past 2 experiences here. I have always conducted myself in a calm, polite, and respectful manner with the owners and everyone else in the shop. I missed an appt in the summer of 2024 due to illness, and called the shop that same day to apologize and explain the situation. The gal I spoke with was very kind and understanding. She told me not to worry about it and to focus on getting better. At the rescheduled appt, Jenny claimed I arrived 15 minutes late. According to the time displayed on my phone, I was 7 minutes late. When I showed Jenny and her husband the current time on my phone, they had a bizarre response: they repeatedly offered to show security camera footage with timestamps. I told them I trusted the time displayed on my phone and that viewing security camera footage was unnecessary. They said that due to arriving late, my scheduled appt time was given to a walk-in, and I would have to wait 2.5 hours for another appt. From this point forward, Jenny's demeanor was cold and hostile. Her husband remained kind and friendly to me whenever I visited the shop. Upon arrival to an appt on 11/25/2024, the shop was not busy. There were 3-4 clients being serviced at the time. Jenny was the only owner present. She made eye contact, smiled, and was talkative and friendly with the other customers. I was not acknowledged upon entry. There was no eye contact, no smile, and no greeting. During my pedicure, my pants became completely saturated with water. I politely mentioned this to Jenny. She continued to not make eye contact, and said coldly: "It's because you asked for the water to be warmed up". I then asked in a polite, respectful, and non-sarcastic tone: "From now on, if I request the water to be warmed up, should I expect my clothing to become saturated?" Jenny again replied coldly, "You must not have pulled your pants up all the way". This is not how a kind, courteous, professional business owner would respond. They would at least offer to bring the customer a towel. Jenny smiled, made eye contact, and thanked other customers for their business as they were leaving. She remained silent, cold, and expressionless as I paid and left the shop. I had errands to run afterwards, and had to do so in wet clothes, in the winter. Changing clothes wasn't an option, due to my residence being far from the shop. Please exercise caution if you choose to patronize this business.

My best friend treated me to a pedicure for a "self-care" day. We were happy because we didn't have an appointment and they were able to get us right in. I believe it was Elaine who helped us. My first impression was that the cleanliness was subpar. The foot tubs didn't appear washed, and the shop was dusty and unorganized. Everything seemed to have a layer of scum, like nothing has been wiped down in quite some time. I'm not a salon girlie, but the quality of work was underwhelming. She didn't seem to take any pride in the work she was doing and was more interested in making conversation than doing the job. The polish was painted onto every cuticle and half of my friend's big toe was unpainted. Then after waiting for my toes to dry for over an hour (plus several hours wearing sandals at home) my polish smudged. Also, she clipped our toenails but didn't file them - I had an uncut nail that snagged and ripped off the nail and polish. Elaine told us at the beginning that they didn't take card, but they have an ATM in the building. After our pedicures were complete, she said their building's ATM has been acting up so we might have to walk across and use David's Pizza's ATM. Turned out that the ATM in the building didn't work, so my friend had to walk back to the salon to get her coat and walk across the street just to pay for the poor-quality pedicures. With today's technology, it seems like they should make it more convenient for customers to pay. I'm a small business supporter, but the lack of quality control is concerning. The location of this salon is beautiful and historic and could be so so sooo much better.

The artwork I ask her to do is sometimes somewhat complicated and she is always up for the challange. I can be a bit extra and I truly appreciate the time she takes and the patients she has with me. Not only does Emma treat me well but all the nail artists and staff at Fendii take their time to make me feel welcome. It's nice to see everyone laughing and having fun. I will be a forever Fendii client.
