I came into Venetian Salon with my mom while we were visiting for the holidays. I had received a gift card at a Christmas gathering and was excited to use it together. Due to the nature of our jobs, we are not allowed to wear nail polish regularly. When we do get our nails done, it is only for special occasions or a short time during the holidays. Because of this, we are unable to get gel, acrylic, or long-lasting services. My mom and I both booked a manicure and pedicure, requesting a basic classic manicure with regular polish or a simple buff and shine, which is still listed on the menu. Unfortunately, from the moment we walked in, it felt like there was frustration around our choice to book the most basic service. We were repeatedly encouraged to upgrade and spend more money, even after clearly explaining that our jobs do not allow us to receive those services. We were told that regular polish takes too long to dry and were continuously redirected toward other options, which made us feel uncomfortable and treated differently because we chose the basic package. Eventually, I showed a photo of the simple, natural look I wanted. I was told it would cost $45 and include a base coat. However, there was no base coat applied--only a small tip. Additionally, I came in with smooth, well-moisturized hands and left with my skin feeling ashy and dry, as if lotion or proper finishing care was skipped. This was disappointing, especially after booking both a manicure and pedicure. At that point, I felt uncomfortable and asked for it to be removed and replaced with a simple base coat, as the result did not feel professional or appropriate to leave with. I don't usually leave reviews like this, and it's disappointing because I truly wanted to love this salon. It is new, and the ambience is beautiful. The lounge area is very nice, the pink chairs are gorgeous, the artwork on the walls is lovely, and they offer complimentary drinks and beverages. The staff were kind overall. However, this does not seem like a salon that accommodates clients who want or need basic manicures without acrylic or gel, even when booking both manicures and pedicures. We also felt uncomfortable being pushed to the back of the salon while other areas were open, which further reinforced the feeling that we were treated differently because we chose a lower-priced service. Overall, Venetian Salon has a beautiful space and kind staff, but if you are looking for a simple, classic manicure without enhancements, this may not be the right place for you. I went to a wedding like this. Excuse the dry skin. I just got back from a wedding in Vegas. It was very dry there. This gel fill is less than 7 days old. I have had good results here before and then this. I was very embarrassed and trying to hide my nails the entire time as MOH. I have made appointments here and waited an hour. I have walked in and sat down and received great service. It's just too hit and miss. DO NOT waste your money unless you like gambling on wonky nails for weeks. read more

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience and I wont be back. My acrylics fell off within 1 week. When I went to get them repaired a week later they made me pay for the nails that had fallen off because I hadn't come back within a week time frame, even though I couldnt find childcare to come any sooner. Then my technician was quite rough and made me bleed in multiple spots, even though I told him it hurt. They didnt offer me the included beverage as well. When I spoke to the manager, he offered no solutions to my situation and made me pay full price for the failed nails. Somehow, I payed the exact same price as I had 2 weeks ago for an entirely new set, just for a fill. I do not recommend this establishment as they have proved they dont care about customer satisfaction, or quality of work. read more

The service itself was great. Unfortunately, the experience was not. The lady working on my pedicure introduced her daughter. The daughter then began to only talk about how young I look because I am short-stature. She asked how old I am, and I said "I'm an adult," to which she continued to pressure me to tell her my actual age. I finally gave in and said "I'm in my thirties," and her response was to continually repeat that I look like I'm 13. She asked if I enjoyed how young I look, and I said no, but then she continued to repeat that she couldn't believe I was an adult. She then brought over several other staff and told them as well. I felt like a spectacle and could not enjoy what was supposed to be a relaxing gift to myself. I will not be returning. read more

I was pleasantly surprised at how big the building is, and I loved how simple the check-in process was (I made my appointment online the day before). Lynn was my hair stylist, who was very accomodating with my hair requests and executed to near perfection!! She listened to what I wanted and also provided some professional feedback. Awful client care, and concern I have been a client of theirs for a while now. The turn over for their hairstylists is high, and none of them seem to know what they are doing. I stayed because I was loyal, but they are far from loyal in return. No one owns their part, or accepts responsibility for their actions. It's poorly run, and managed. Clients need to be made to feel important when you spend the kind of money that they charge for the services they offer. I will never go back!! Sylvia acts as if she has a kind heart, and like she cares. She's actually quite rude, and demeaning. I will never recommend them to anyone ever again. Anne the owner dropped the ball to her nephew and he dropped the ball too because their communication skills and customer rapport is not important to them. I came in with a friend and she was done within 45 minutes and the lady I was out with seemed like she was being trained, she glued the nails on and the nails had air bubbles at the tip of my natural nail making the tips slanted and not flat on my nails I wasn't able to communicate with her so the two nail techs on each side of her had to let me know everything and those two girls ended up having another tech come over and start 4 of my nails over and he had soaked them in acetone and the nails melted and sealed to my fingers and I still have left over residue my apex's are all different shapes and sizes I will say he took his time trying to fix every mistake and u would recommend going to him BUT as the nails came to an end he started to rush and became more aggressive with how he handled my hands and that didn't bother me too much but I know not everyone will take that lightly and my friend had mentioned that he was getting more aggressive and she became more worried as the appointment went in but again didn't bother me too much the place was very quiet on the other hand and the front desk ladies were very sweet and took a good amount off the price after seeing what was going on and it was very sweet of them. If you go to this place SPEAK UP don't be scared I would've walked out of that place paying full price for PRACTICE NAILS if i hadn't said anything read more
