Very nice store, clean, great selection of electronics and a good variety. I didn't look at the video selection but it looked large? The clerk was very nice and helpful to me and my boyfriend. I was at VideoMaxx yesterday evening at approximately 9:25pm, and one of the MANAGERS was attempting to provoke a quarrel that was completely unwarranted. Ish, the manager there said to me, 'you're lucky that your even allowed in here'. He was referring to an incident at their Second St. location from May 16th. A few months ago at approximately 5:20pm on this day, I overheard the Manager Ish(short for Ishmael I presume), speaking to his new trainee about a former terminated employee and that, 'there goes his little friend', pointing to me. I stopped and asked, 'what did you say?'. He said never mind your business and told me to leave as he aggressively advanced towards me. I said if a former employee is terminated then why would you be talking about him to your trainee and what does this have to do with me? And furthermore, I stated, 'why are you talking about paying customers right in front of their face like this?' Ish started approaching me as if to start an altercation with me. I then went to my car and left after warning him of the potential reviews I will post. This company is allowing untrained and uneducated employees to discriminate against, slander and harass its own customers. I have never done anything wrong at these locations to be treated in this way. I have already forwarded this information to the Better Business Bureau who have already in turn forwarded to this company's corporate office. read more

I came in to the store yesterday afternoon to check out some new toys, as I was ready to check out, the lady store employee I noticed was too busy going back and forth to the arcade theatre in the back. I gave up after awhile and left the store without buying. I'm like, girl, you're too concern about people in the arcade, there's sales that need your attention up front. Anyway, why don't the store just charge like a flat $10 fee to go to the arcade, and leave it at that. I think the store would make more money than trying to depend on people to put bills on those videos. read more

I went in on Saturday afternoon with my wife on the 17th. The black employee kept trying to kick me out of the store for "loitering" while my wife was shopping. Cut to halfway on my drive home back to Santa Fe and my wife tells me that he was propositioning her to go to the arcade with him him, gave her his phone number and also told her that HE WOULD BE THERE ALONE ON SUNDAY! I was so fucking outraged. The only reason she didn't tell me in the store is that Im a marine and if she did I would've fucked him up. Very nice clean and comfortable setting. I am new to shopping in an "adult store" so I was a little bit anxious and nervous about speaking with an employee about what exactly I was looking for in this store. The girl that helped me really put me at ease and made me feel very comfortable. She was pretty awesome and very helpful. I believe her name is Angelina. The manager on duty the 30th of June was knowledgeable and assisted me in making excellent selections. I had thought it would be an embarrassing or uncomfortable conversation, but it was anything but. The items I purchased very well matched to perform beyond my expectations.
