I don't think they know how to do Builder Gel. They said they could do it. It took 75 minutes which is insane and they put different amounts on my nails so some I can see through the builder gel and some I cant. They charged extra for my nails being long - it's my natural nail?! And finally I just said this is too long I need to go. Maybe fine for regular manis but don't offer builder if you don't know how to do it. read more

First off, let me say that I have been to this salon 3-4 times. I live a few doors down, and was REALLY hoping I could find a quality technician for convenience's sake. For the pricing, the quality is always underwhelming (I've had a different tech each time). The dip on my nails has cracked within a week TWICE. My most recent service was a pedicure that lasted 2 hours with a technician that was very clearly brand new. Instead of soaking/using an electric file to remove the gel on my toenails, she used a polish remover, then hand filed all the polish off -- this left with me with little nicks and abrasions all over my toes/cuticles. She was not well trained in reflexology and used the same technique for the entire extended massage. Finally, after trying to paint my toenails multiple times, she finally gave up and had a senior technician take over. While my tech was very sweet, Vie needs some serious quality control! These services cost far too much to have this kind of experience. I will not be chancing this again. read more

Absolute WORST cheesy French gel manicure EVER! First set began cracks and chipping by day 3 and even by day 5 it was ridiculous with even a broken nail so I even returned for repair, replace, whatever. I asked why this happened and I got ignored. Asked again and I got the "I don't understand- English grrrr, really?!! I assumed the cause was insufficient gel on top of the French application to give it strength to last. But I agreed to continue. They drilled off all the original products was way too easy and took seconds because it was a shallow 1-coat of gel!! By day 4 - it was the same problem: hairline cracks and chips--even a bubble on one finger. I will return to Nail Star across town where they give me multiple coats of gel and I can get a month. $50 down the drain!! What a waste! read more

I've been in here a couple of times now over the last 2 months, and it has been pretty great, thus far. I got a dip mani and a desperately needed eyebrow waxing today, and was happy to be able to get in right away without an appt. I was in around 11:00 today, and they were able to accommodate me, although they did get a little bit busier while I was there and some walk-ins had to wait for about 30 minutes or so. So far, the quality of their services is very different from many of the other places I've been recently. They take their time on your nails and make sure that things are done correctly. Even after about a month, I didn't have any chipping or breaking of my nails. They are not too thick, and not too thin. I think the only slight negative was that when they did my eyebrows today they were a little thinner than I would've liked them but it's not like I could put the hair back on my face after it was gone. Other than that, the atmosphere is very nice, it's a really pretty interior and good vibe. I'll be back next month! read more

I went again but solo because my nailed needed to be done and unfortunately didn't love the set. lots of mistakes and it was a bit dirty. I got acrylic with gel. My tech was jessie -- maybe that matters but maybe it doesn't. Get the pedi, maybe skip the mani. read more

Mai, who is the sweetest and kindest person I've met, also the owner, made sure I was taken care of when I came in my first time. I'd had a bad experience at another salon I used to go to. The manicure was very expensive and was chipped and peeling after only a week. Mai asked me was it done at her salon and I told her no. Amazing experience! We were in town and wanted our family of 5 to get mani/pedis on a very busy Sat! We were at NP mall but their nail salon was busy. I looked on yelp, called Vie and they told us to come on---they could assist us! We got there and they were busy but asked us to wait just a short time and they were able to accommodate us with FIVE STAR SERVICE! Every employee was friendly and well skilled. I got a dip manicure and it was probably the most rushed manicure I've had. The lady was not very friendly. My fingers were stained red. I get red all the time and I've never had this happen before. Two days later, my manicure chipped. They fixed it and the guy that did it was very nice. After I left, I noticed my shiny coat wasn't shiny but instead matte. A week later and another nail chipped. I'm extremely dissatisfied with my manicure. The owner (I assumed) was pleasant when i was there the second time. When I get my nails done, I've never had my dip powder chip. It grows out and then I get them redone. Two nails have chipped and I'm just not happy with the manicure and I think if the lady took her time, it would've lasted a lot longer. read more

I would actually rate it 4.5. Went here after seeing it on a bloggers Instagram. Very nice salon, I believe it's still pretty new but was clean and modern with very friendly and helpful staff. I had Dawn do my nails and I absolutely love them. She was patient with me picking out colors and listening to what I wanted, you could tell she really cared about my nails looking good and not just seeing it as another nail job. Went to Dallas to visit family and after shopping searched for "pedicure near me." Located Vie quickly and the walk was short. They were open on Mother's Day with availability and had $70 crystal spa pedi. Technician was very good, massage was wonderful, massage chair was good, sanitary measures are used.
