We stopped for lunch on our way to Olympic National Park and it set us up for success for our hikes. We ordered the chicken wings to start to protein up, delicious! I went back yesterday because I was in the neighborhood and got a curb side pick up. It was a quarter leg and thigh piece of fried chicken with rice and veggies. I was blown away by the flavors. Excellent. So delicious. More importantly, I didn't eat it until I got all the way back home in North Kitsap. The chicken was still hot and crispy. I had no problem ordering my phone. Request. Ing the curbside, pick up was easy and met with an enthusiastic.Absolutely.We can do that for you attitude. I'm going to go get that dish again just to make sure it was that good. And now that they have a more extensive menu, since the first time I went. I'll try some other things as well. It's just good to see that they are doing okay and are still in business. As someone from the Bay Area, I know good Pho. This place was pretty good. I don't know if it's a sign of the times, because I haven't had Pho in a while. With that being said, I find the value incredibly lacking. Their Steak Pho with extra meat is almost $30 for around 700 calories of food. And I don't know how to feel about it. read more

Stopped by for a quick dinner here this week on the recommendation from friends. I don't typically frequent Vietnamese restaurants because in the past, I haven't been able to find anything I really want to eat. My husband loves Pho, though, so I agreed to come. The place is a really cute little restaurant with booths and tables, relaxing holiday music playing, and a cute maneki neko (big white and black porcelain cat) with paw waving at customers on their counter. Friends recommended that I try the Crispy Chicken Fried Rice so that's what I ordered. My husband got the Tai Nam (Steak & Brisket) Pho. I wasn't sure what to expect but what I received was a very aesthetic looking plate of crispy chicken, a big scoop of fried rice under a sunny side up egg with the most perfect golden edges (!), along side fresh cut cucumbers and other veggies, with a small bowl of sauce. We were also provided a side of hot bean curd to use if we wanted extra spice. The chicken was a little crispier and tougher than I was expecting but I still enjoyed it. I never order eggs sunny side up as I'm not usually a big fan of runny yolk but I decided to eat it as intended -- and it was really good! The fried rice was super flavorful and had a nice chew. The veggies were very fresh. All in all, I cleaned my plate! My husband liked his, too. He's very picky about pho and always orders the same kind at every Vietnamese restaurant so he can easily compare. According to him, steak was pretty good, but the brisket was excellent! The lady working was super friendly and welcoming. She even interacted with my toddler which was cute. We ordered the garlic fried wings for appetizer, and it was pretty small for $11.50. We also got bubble teas and they were a bit too sweet for me, but good. Basically a meal unto itself. The staff were attentive and friendly. The only issue that I had was that it was quite expensive. For a vermicelli bowl and a bubble tea, with tip, came out to $36. I went back and got my husband a bahn mi to go and it was $18. This is the newest pho spot in silverdale.. and it's great! Interior is clean and modern-ish decor. Staff is so nice that it's refreshing. Good service is hard to come by these days, my cousin and I were terribly hungry cause we're dumb and didn't eat much this day, so we shared the Vietnamese pancake which was yummy! Granted we probably ate it the wrong way.. noobs!.. I got the combo pho. She got steak and brisket.. great portion size and the broth is rich and flavorful.. I had been looking at an older menu on Yelp, and didn't realize that the special fried rice description had changed. The older menu said it had chicken and seafood. I asked what kind of seafood it had and was told shrimp, scallops, and squid, so now I'm not sure if the old description or the new description is right. It was very good, whatever it was. The menu could actually use quite a bit of clarification. The crispy chicken fried rice sounded like it would have pieces of chicken in it, but it was a fried leg quarter served with rice. It was very good, but should be called crispy fried chicken with rice. The noodles had the vegetables listed on the menu, but didn't mention green peppers. I hate green peppers, didn't know to ask for them to be omitted, and the whole dish tasted like green peppers. It was a lot of money spent on food that should have been better described. read more

Rating is for the ridiculous price. Their staple dishes are $20 which is INSANE, not including tax and tip for one entree. Dining by yourself if you order appetizers is easily a $35-40 meal. Picked up some take out from Viet's Taste because I heard all the raving reviews! It was very delicious Crab Rangoons were very good ( could use a bit more crab tho.) I got the shaken beef with garlic noodles (delicious little melt in your mouth beef pieces.) Also got the special fried rice, has a little bit of everything and different than your typical fried rice, but still delightful.
