We happen to cross the Viking drive-in when we were coming back from Spokane and needed to grab a quick bite to eat. We continue our #WashingtonBurgerQuest as we travel around the state, and this was a spot that had been on our list for a while. It's located off the main interstate by about 2 miles, and after stopping here we recommend that you do as well. Just as you get into town (Sprague) this place is located on the left in a building that looks like it's been here for quite some time and is very much a ma and pa type place. There's a marijuana store operating out of a shipping container next-door, some no matter what you're in the mood for, Viet food or wanting to be hungry for food later, this parking lot has a covered. As you would guess, there's plenty of Viking theme running through this place. We grabbed a Viking burger - if you stop here you must get the Viking burger! It's double beef, double bacon and double cheese with all the standard accompaniments on a toasted bun... Anywhere the toast the bun absolutely gets it! We've now tried about 85 places around the state of Washington in a quest for the perfect burger, and this one is definitely a top three. I will tell you this is not what we were expecting, but we were pleasantly surprised by it. The burger was flavorful, not too salty, but not bland. The meat was juicy enough to run onto your hand when you took a bite, but not so much that it dripped on you while you were eating it. That's a masterful burger! The bacon was crunchy, thick and perfectly cooked. The cheese was melted and the toasted bun gave us that little extra crunch when we bit into the burger. The little attention to detail goes a Long way when it comes to hole in the wall burgers! The tater tots and onion rings we're both salad and the chocolate, peanut butter, banana shake was delicious. As has been stated a couple times, we were not expecting to be wild by this place, but were totally impressed by what we had. This is the sort of spot that any burger lover needs to stop at, and it's the sort of place that we will make a point to hit up anytime we're driving through.

We needed something and this was just off I90. Food was great, fast and hit the spot. It has a nice outside area but too frosty when we were there to try. Would definitely return.

Good food and decently sized servings, but seemed a bit pricier than it should be. One person show with only a few tables inside. Very friendly and accommodating.

Small restaurant and tables were full. The service was good as was the food. I had the Viking Burger & milkshake & enjoyed it. It was a fun stop.

Great burgers and fries! Made to order, chicken strips are good as well! Service was very friendly. About 2 mins off the freeway. Very easy to find.

Good food, definitely do not have fast service at all. If you need a place to stop and eat, I recommend it as long as you have time to wait.(pretty sure we waited at least 35-40 minutes on our food) Everyone was running circles around each other, no one knew what was going on & everyone who was sitting down had to get up to remind them that they were waiting to order. Although, I believe the price is a bit too high, I understand. I had a club sandwich-super delicious We had a western cheeseburger Deluxe cheeseburger We had 2 sides of fries & a side of onion rings(super small portions for $4 each) $11 for a shake though(we definitely did not get that because wow, that's expensive)

This is a great local place! My wife and I stopped thru on our way from Spokane airport. The lady who waited on me was incredibly kind and accommodated my request for a lettuce bun. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and it was delicious! Everything about this place was great!

All I can say is don't miss this one! Wow! Probably one of the Best Burgers I have ever eaten! 1/2 lb Bacon Burger with cheese, onions and pickles and came with fries for $12.99. It was cooked perfectly, real slices of bacon, melted American cheese and super saucy! This is one of those places that is family owned and run and it shows! From the greeting when you walk through the door to the quality of food! We try to go out of our way to support small businesses! This was definitely worth the stop!

We were quickly greeted and told to sit wherever we liked, so we grabbed a booth by the window. As soon as we settled in, our waitress came over for drink orders, already cracking jokes with a wicked sense of humor that kept us laughing the entire meal. She suggested mozzarella sticks as an appetizer -- and I'm so glad she did. They were cooked to absolute perfection (chef's kiss). We ordered the ribeye steak with potatoes, veggies, garlic bread, and cheddar broccoli soup. The soup was incredible -- rich, flavorful, and packed with real broccoli, so you knew it was fresh. Then the steaks came out... and honestly, they were better than steaks we've had at high-end steakhouses. Perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. Throughout the whole experience, our waitress kept our sodas full and somehow always appeared right when we needed something -- we never once had to ask. That level of attentiveness is rare. We decided to grab pie to go since we were heading to a hotel for the night. Before we could even mention it, she brought us plastic forks and a bag with our dessert. That kind of thoughtfulness completely sums up the service here. This will absolutely be a regular stop for us anytime we travel through Ritzville. I was beyond impressed -- amazing food, amazing service, and an experience that felt genuine from start to finish.

The restaurant seems to be a family ran business. Sadly, this review isn't good. We went on Sunday around 11:30 AM. The restaurant wasn't busy, only 3 other tables there. We ordered a basket of buttermilk biscuits as an appetizer. My husband ordered a Loaded Breakfast Burrito. My mom ordered the Florentine Benedict with house potatoes. I ordered the classic Eggs Benedict. It took 30 minutes to get our appetizer of biscuits. The restaurant wasn't busy, so I don't know why it took so long. It took another 10 minutes to get our food. 40 minutes for food is ridiculous, especially classic breakfast food! Our server didn't come by with any update while we waited. My husband loved his breakfast burrito! My mom enjoyed her Florentine Benedict. I didn't like my Eggs Benedict. The Benedict serving was huge! The hollandaise sauce covered half the plate! The portion of the smoked ham was generous, but not proportional. The amount of ham was too salty for the meal. My mom and I agreed the hollandaise sauce was overwhelming and bland. I added pictures of our leftover Eggs Benedict, still so much hollandaise sauce left. The hash browns were salty to me, but I am sensitive to salt. I'd come back for the biscuits. The portions were big, but bigger isn't always better. Bene's, another breakfast restaurant down the street is exceedingly better for Eggs Benedict.

My Top RECOMENDATION is the Alien Burger comes with hot crispy onion rings! This burger is architecturally the most flavorful burger I've had in a small town! Starting with the soft and nicely toasted bun that cradles the fresh produce (which I believe comes from a local farm) resting on top is 2 of the juiciest scrumptious seasoned beef patties that melt from a single bite, you will not feel guilty! Unlike those disgusting corporate brands that care about making a cheap buck I.E. McDonald's, Wendy's (who claim to be fresh) and Burger King (More like the process meat with plastic and other additive king) Billy Burgers meat taste so FRESH, when I rolled up, I met the prince of Bel air! The meat beautifully cooked is layered with a square swiss cheese, the cheese enhances the flavor of the burger that'll remind you what America stood on and why burgers are the staple of the very country Wilbur, WA is home of (AMERICA!) If your mouth isn't watering now and your heart isn't on fire for one! Well.. Listen up, this burger also comes with freshly cut garden fresh peppers that will make you think you're South of the border, the green peppers compliment the burger so well with the cheese the seasoned meat and the bun. To close out my review, the ambiance of the establishment is very cozy and calm! You have the choice of eating inside where you can read about the Alien visitation in Wilbur, WA, or have the choice to eat outside and enter at your own risk.... The Twilight Zone...

One of the best mushroom burgers with crispy onion rings I've ever had. They call it the Alien Burger with Invasion Rings (clever!) due to a series of past crop circle phenomenon in Wilbur. Our only complaint came from what other reviews have also mentioned: soggy fries. Not sure why they're sticking to that cooking method when so many people mention it negatively. Service was friendly & relatively fast for such a large order. We sat in the outdoor area that is tucked behind the place away from the road. Fun banner of pop culture events from 1955, the year Billy Burgers was founded. We will return on our next lake trip!

I waited 20 minutes and I went for my food. When I arrived they said it would be a couple minutes. I sat and waited. Several orders went out as I waited. More take out orders were picked up. Finally I asked about my meal. The young girl at the counter said my chicken fried steak was the hold up because the MICROWAVE was out of order! I ordered chicken fried steak and eggs and hashbrown potatoes. No microwave required. When I mentioned that I don't see why a broken microwave is holding up my breakfast she said they use it to thaw the meat before cooking it! I am obviously quite annoyed at the whole thing. Just as I was walking up to cancel my order she throws the food up and says here you go! I get my food home 3 blocks away and my over easy eggs were cold and hard no runny yolk. I assumed this was because they sat waiting forever for the chicken fried steak fiasco. I tried the chicken fried steak. It was extremely tough and hard to chew and covered in some weird white sauce that definitely was not country gravy. Almost tasted like dill. I assumed it was a leftover sauce from a dinner special or something. My English muffin had plenty of butter which is good but it had sat so long it was rubber. The hashbrown potatoes were decent so those are what I ate. The rest was split between my two dogs. Very unfortunate. I've tried twice to like this place but it's a let down. I always support local businesses but wow! The burger I had previously was good but the pizza for the family had toppings wrong and a disturbing amount of onions.
