Could have easily spent a couple hours in there. Other than antique glassware and dishes (FiestaWare!) and lots of other fun little things, they also have bamboo clothing from EcoDesignz. I saw a dress I liked there but didn't buy it, and then got home and wished I had. I had seen that they had a Myspace page so looked them up, emailed them about the dress and they emailed me right back blahblahblah I had the dress 2 days later. They were SO incredibly nice to deal with, and I can't remember the last time I've been able to say that about a shop!

When it was ready I was told it was ready, he said 20 hours! DOUBLE... and at $150/hrs I was speechless. I struggled to go ahead with the job at 10 hours figuring 2 or 3 over, but not double! Total would've been over $3300... The good... I told/asked him to split the difference and call it 15. Settled on 16 hours. I felt better but still ended up being $2625... The great... the craftsmanship... The table came out great. Looks beautiful. The kicker was he told me he's been doing this for 50 years and he's 73 and this is his living... My response was if you're at this 50 years you should be able to have a more accurate estimate. The word approximately means close to but not exact... Does NOT mean double and hose the customer.

It is two rooms with mainly furniture and some decorative items. The furniture is cute vintage, with a French vibe, some painted in the Annie Sloan chalk paint, and others left with regular wood. Pieces include bureaus to vanities to tables to china cabinets and prices reflect the amount of time spent on each item. If this is your style of furniture or you love Annie Sloan paint, be sure to stop in.

Super friendly and engaging customer support. The folks at work here really do seem to care. Another thing I love are the random cool things that you can purchase, like gift cards, and various trinkets. That they have those things has helped me grab some last-minute birthday and other holiday items for friends when I would have completely forgotten the special day. At the onset of the pandemic, Henery's took charge and implemented numerous measures and protocols to keep patrons and staff as safe as possible. As of this date, May 18, 2020, however, things have deteriorated greatly. 1 of 5 employees I encountered wore a mask. 1 of 5 wore gloves. 2 passed within six inches of me in order to stock shelves on the same aisle I was on, neither wearing masks. Following the example, 2 of ten customers wore masks and also made numerous attempts to get less than 6 feet from me. There are no requirements for employees nor customers to wear a simple mask. Here's the thing. The measures we've used state wide and been enormously successful in reducing the spread of Covid 19. So much so, my wife and I thought it relatively safe to continue to shop in places like Henery's. Fact is, we have a 19 year old quadriplegic at home with 23% lung capacity. If he gets this disease, he dies. Full stop. As a result, we rely on the mutual concern and professionalism of establishments like Henery's to help maintain that level of safety. Henery's isn't doing that anymore, despite the lack of a vaccine and dire warnings from the CDC and epidemiologists globally. We cannot take the risk of killing our kid. So it is that today was my last trip into your store. Life will run a bit slower for us, as we order everything online and have it delivered, but seeing our son reach the age of 20 will make that well worthwhile.
