The 2 large dog + 1 small/medium dog station are all connected and in the same space so just be mindful if you have a reactive dog or have hesitations about being around other dogs at the same time. They wash the stations in between use. There are a variety of shampoo options and hose + dryer were easy to use. They provide a small leash to keep your dog attached to the washing station too plus a treat for post-wash. Staff is very friendly!

She was fantastic at communicating and was the first groomer ever to actually listen to our requested haircut!! Having a doodle means a certain style of grooming, but we just needed her to be short all over and she's the only groomer that didn't question our decision and did exactly like we asked. We didn't need any touchups! (Which is a first). She was perfect! I highly recommend Astrid for grooming and will continue to book with her going forward!! Plus, as an added bonus, everyone at this store was so friendly and sweet to my little puppy.

I'd been buying my stuff online for years, so going to a store was pretty foreign. I also needed soft food but I wasn't quite sure what kind, cause I also have a fat cat who shouldn't be eating much ... fat. Something very prevalent in soft food. To make a long story short, I met someone - a few someone's - and they have been awesome. I actually enjoy going to the store to buy cat food just so that I can see who's working to say hi. They helped me pick out soft food when I desperately needed it and I am eternally grateful. (The soft food I was feeding them previously had too much fat in it and had to be switched) Since then I've gotten toys, and beds and all kinds of stuff. I'm almost out of soft cat food. :)

As we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the staff members and were told that if we had any questions then they would be more than happy to assist. They also offered treats for our fur babies which is always a bonus! The store was neatly organized with plenty of walking space for owners and their pets to roam around. We came specifically for some birthday hats and accessories and were pleased to find it close to the entrance. As we were trying different hats, one of the employees Arrow offered to take some pictures of our birthday girl and told us that they offered a birthday goodie bag. We were delighted to hear this as who doesn't want to spoil their precious puppy on their special day? It took only a few minutes for them to get us a bag and Arrow also mentioned that we get 25% off treats, toys and food that could be used with the same year. What a steal! We decided to get them some hides (our dog picked them out for his sister and himself) and dog food. We came in for a birthday hat but left happily with much more. The genuine care for their customers and pets was very clear. From friendly and professional customer service, all types of products, and one of those neat water dispensers for dogs and cats was fantastic! We will be back!

And our cats that are super picky about toys, pretty much love anything I get there because they carry toys that pretty much any cat would love. So that was kind of a bummer The same woman, checked me out and get the checkmark for doing the job she was paid to do. She was not friendly but she was not unfriendly, but something about her was a little unapproachable. She didn't know the answers to my two questions and because of the unapproachable factor, I didn't feel like pushing her to find out. This was surprising to hear, as this is the first time I've ever been told my dog was fearful or difficult at a groomer. When he came home, he was acting a little off, but nothing immediately obvious. Over the next couple of days, I noticed he seemed to be in pain. Today, I took him to the vet and was told he has a tail sprain and back pain. I also learned that his anal glands were not expressed, which is something I typically expect as part of a grooming visit. I don't know exactly what happened while he was being groomed, but something clearly did. I've called the store twice trying to speak with someone and haven't been able to get anyone to answer the phone. I'm leaving this review because I'm genuinely concerned about my dog's experience and well-being, and because the lack of communication or follow-up from the store has been frustrating. I hope management takes this seriously and reaches out, as I'm looking for answers and accountability.

So fast forward to 3/31/23. I call again to see about getting my dog groomed. Apparently Shelby doesn't want to groom my dog because I was annoyed at how they handled his cancelation in December. The salon manager apparently can't get my dog for WEEKS. Lol really WEEKS?! Just say you don't want to groom my dog then. The amount of horrible customer service is terrible. Reason why I went here was because it's close to home and my dog actually really likes Shelby. But to blow off your loyal customers and say too bad so sad is utterly disrespectful. I hope no one goes here moving forward and maybe this place will get better at customer service, communication, and accountability.

There is a large supply and selection of mostly food, treats and other chewables but also a nice selection of toys and pet accessories. What I like and also grabbed on my last visit are the large sized Braised beef hide free chewables. These come in all different sizes and flavors including chicken, venison, duck and more. The more you buy; you can get slight discounts which is nice. Because of it was my 'first visit' I was treated to a hedgehog chew toy by outward bound! A gent I chatted with said it lasted his dog several months, so it sounds like quality, which we all like. Along with this, it's just nice to support a local business and though I've not yet met Paul (The owner) I've heard many nice things about him and as mentioned, each visit the staff are very friendly and helpful.
