Summary- I took my mother here- did not disappoint. Worth it. I recommend So it was a last minute decision for Indigenous peoples day dinner with my wife, mother and father. We were sitting at home and wanted Italian and I knew just where to take them. We went to Villa Bella. We got there around 7p and the dinner rush was slowing but it was still rather busy. We were serviced by a very friendly, but busy server. She did a fantastic job and was very accommodating even though we counted 6 other tables of 4 or more guests. The food- fantastic and exactly what you want when you take the family out. Clean tables, clean restroom, clean flowers. Good food- Everyone loved their food Total bill-$208 plus tip Table- anti pasta sicialiano- really a nice treat I ordered a pizza- fantastic brick oven pizza My father, meat lasagna- he finished it which he never does so I was happy My mother, a Cesar salad with salmon that she said was very tasty My wife a salad with salmon on the side. Everyone had drinks Here's the deal, what I really enjoyed was that I got to have family time and enjoy a meal and it was hassle free. I recommend. On the weekends it's busy but because it's a nice family spot.

Extremely nice restaurant. This is family and date worthy. The staff here fully understand what good service is. That's not the case at nearby restaurants, and the reason I go here. Comfortable seats, with plenty of room. Parking lot can be unique, yet so is a lot of NOVA. The spaghetti and its sauce wow! Their chicken parmigiana is tasty too. These are my usuals, but recently liked their pizza very much. Best guess is people who enjoy Italian food, will be quite content here. Will be back soon, and an easy going place. That alone is another reason to go here. You don't feel the gigantic stadium vibe.

My first visit to this restaurant. We had a large group but the service was efficient and friendly. The food was delicious. My spaghetti carbonara was very tasty and it was all I could do not to eat my weight in garlic knots. The salmon was flaky and tender. Half the group had to go boxes because of the portions. They have a nice separate room for groups. We loved the old school Italian decor. Excellent choice, I recommend.

What a pleasant surprise! We happened to be in the Burke area and saw that this place had great Google reviews. I can see why! The complimentary bread that they give you is amazing. We went through two baskets of it (couldn't help it!) Always a spaghetti fan, I tried the spaghetti and meatballs and it was excellent. It had a great sauce and the portion was more than enough. We also tried the chicken parm sub and it was awesome! The salad that came with the sub was top notch as well. The service was fast and friendly and the overall value was outstanding. We will definitely be coming back! If you happen to be in the area, give it a try!

Pretty generous portions on the food. The service for a Friday night was good and our food came out fast, especially since they were also hosting a wedding party. The calamari was delicious on the sampler platter. The calzones are huge and the dipping marinara sauce was tasty. They support our local lake Braddock high school so we try and support them. The Ambiance was fine a little crowded but to be expected for the time and day of the week. Got seated immediately with no reservations. The only reason it was not five stars was that the Alfredo sauce wasn't as creamy and cheesy as some of the other chain Italian favorites.

I've had two pizzas from here since it's a in the neighborhood. Both were carry out, I've never stayed to eat at the restaurant, but the restaurants certainly looks pretty The first time was cheese and pepperoni and.. largely forgettable. not bad but I felt it had way too much salt. That's the one thing that really stuck with me. The second pizza, just now, had pepperoni and italian sausage. Perhaps the last pizza was not their best, but this one was quite a surprise! The pizza is.. wet, that is quite a bit of sauces, and juices. Bold taste of sauce. Italian sausage is good but I don't think it should be a "gourmet" topping and thus a higher price. There's a hint of spicy pepper but can't be sure if that's the sausage, or the pepperoni. The last thing I noticed was oddly surprising: the crust is good! Fresh, thin, with a bit of air in the dough, instead of the dense and chewy crust that I remembered last time. It's just fresher this time. I'm always comparing pizza to my favorite (so far) which is Kings NY Pizza, but Kings has its own issues with delivering to Burke. Villa Bella is not as good as Kings, but.. in a pinch, when I don't feel like waiting, and want something fresh, now? Villa Bella will do.

The bread that was served was spicy and orange ( not traditional) - we had just returned 2 days earlier from a European trip and at no time received bread like this at our table. I wish I had been warned about the bread by the server because I can't tolerate spicy foods. It's ok that the menu had changed- my favorite lobster dish was gone. And the wine that we ordered was not available ( it was as explained that a new wine list was being printed- so to taste the wine from DOURA valley again was not going to be possible ). Our meals were good mine was the fried shrimp and my husband's was pasta and sausage - he commented that he would have like a little less sauce and more pasta ( being Italian he likes pasta and I noticed that there was only a bit on the plate) I had told the server that we were celebrating our anniversary- after dinner she came out with a tray of desserts and said we would like you to have a dessert to celebrate your anniversary. So we picked on to share and asked for a cup of coffee. We mentioned that was a nice gesture for the restaurant. We discovered later that it was not a gesture at all. The dessert was added to our bill. All and all it was a nice evening out. We will go again in about a year or two to look at their new menu and wine list. I am hoping for an improvement. If not. I will need to find another favorite restaurant.

The smaller setting and attentive service create a relaxed, personal experience that works especially well for date nights or quiet meals with friends. Portions Portions are generous and satisfying. Pasta dishes and entrees arrive hearty and filling, often with enough for leftovers. It's comfort-style Italian that doesn't hold back on quantity. Community There's a strong community feel here -- from the welcoming tone of the staff to the loyal local customer base. The restaurant reflects a family-first ethos that shows up in both service style and operating approach. Pro tip: Check the hours before you go. They keep limited days and times -- mostly late lunch and dinner service -- which reflects their family values and operating philosophy.

We started our experience with orders of the arancini filled with bolognese with peas and mozzarella , Zeppoles with prosciutto and hot honey drizzle, fried artichokes with a garlic aioli, and the house meatballs topped with mozzarella and baked. They were awesome! Deliciousness in every bite! On to our entrees, I ordered the spicy seafood pasta, mussels, shrimp and scallops over homemade tagliatelle with a spicy marinara sauce. The stuffed gnocchi, light fluffy pillows of pasta stuffed with Asiago cheese with a sun dried tomato cream sauce. Chicken Milanese topped with a lemon butter sauce and a tomato conserva and arugula salad. Rigatoni ala Vodka. And our final dish sausage ragu bianco, homemade radiatorre pasta in a spicy sausage ragu sauce. All of the entrees were phenomenal, we each tried some of each!!! We ended our meal with the best Tiramisu we've had in a long time, Basque cheesecake, and a cannoli. From start to finish we were blown away! Other than Asian cuisine, Italian food is one of my great loves. And I think this place has a charming interior, good service, and some terrific food. Caesar salad may sound like nothing difficult, but many places drown their salad in Caesar dressing. This salad had a good balanced ratio and had a good crunchy texture instead of being soggy. And I hadn't had carbonara in a long time, but they do a really good one here. Prices also are reasonable for the quality. I have friends only a couple miles down the road from here. A couple we've befriended told us they lived in Fairfax for several years. They are big fans of Dolce Vita. We were told that a reservation is necessary as the place is popular. We decided to finally try Dolce Vita this past Saturday and reserved a table for an early dinner. When we got there, the place was practically empty. We were seated at a four-top table and were told that they had hosted a large party earlier in the day. They were still rearranging the dining room when we arrived. The staff was friendly and efficient. During our meal, the manager checked on us more than once. Alas, there is no sign in the dining room indicating where the restrooms are, so we asked the server for their location. Sadly, we weren't impressed with the food. We started with a bruschetta appetizer and also ordered some garlic bread. When the bruschetta arrived, it was very attractively presented. It consists of: "roasted garlic, tomatoes, basil, and fresh mozzarella". The bread was tough and chewy, with little garlic flavor. We've had bruschetta before, and it was made with fresh tomatoes. I picked up a piece, bit into it, only to have half of the toppings fall on the table. The fresh mozzarella was basically 4 thin, small slices that one adds to their serving rather than a sizable ball of mozzarella. There was also a small pile of microgreens that were meant to be added to the bruschetta, an unusual addition. I ended up cutting up the bread, which wasn't easy. Nothing like having to fight with one's food. For my main course, I chose "chicken piccata," which consists of "pan-seared chicken and broccolini in a lemon, caper, and white wine sauce". The chicken breast was well prepared, moist, and tender. The sauce was fine, although I wished it had more capers. As for the broccolini, it was barely cooked at all, not even tender crisp. Again, I had to fight with a menu item. My husband chose to have "baked ziti bolognese al forno" which consists of "ricotta, tomato sauce, beef bolognese and mozzarella." He found part of a bay leaf in the dish. The dish was very cheese-forward, and the cow had walked through it, leaving very little of itself behind. In conclusion, we don't plan to return as it was rather disappointing.

Service throughout the meal was excellent. Our waitress was attentive without hovering, kept drinks topped off, checked in at all the right times, and made the experience feel welcoming from start to finish. The dining room itself left me with mixed feelings. It was incredibly humid inside, to the point where it became distracting during the meal. The booth seating also wasn't my favorite. The pleather-style upholstery made it surprisingly difficult to slide in and out, especially if you're sitting toward the wall. It's a small detail, but one that stood out. We ordered family-style so everyone could sample a little of everything, which I always think is the best way to experience a menu. The Caesar salad was the undeniable star of the table. Absolute banger. The dressing tasted unmistakably house-made with the perfect balance of richness, garlic, lemon, and anchovy. It's one of those deceptively simple dishes that can be hard to execute well, and they absolutely nailed it. The carbonara was enjoyable overall with a silky sauce and great flavor, but the pancetta was cut into pieces that were much larger than necessary. Smaller pieces would have distributed the flavor more evenly and made each bite feel better balanced. The table bread with the red sauce was another pleasant surprise. Fresh, comforting, and exactly the kind of thing that keeps everyone reaching for "just one more piece." The chicken parm sandwich had plenty of potential, but it was noticeably dry. It really needed a more generous helping of marinara to bring everything together and add the moisture you'd expect from a chicken parm. One area that could definitely use some attention is the restrooms. They were functional, but they felt tired compared to the rest of the restaurant and would really benefit from a refresh or remodel. Overall, this was a solid first visit with far more positives than negatives. While I'd probably skip the carbonara and chicken parm sandwich next time in favor of trying other menu items, that Caesar salad is something I'd order again in a heartbeat. It's rare for a salad to completely steal the show, but this one absolutely did. I'll definitely be back to see what else the kitchen has to offer.
