Was in the area and needed lunch on the weekend. I've seen Pizza Vienna and various in-town events, but had yet to try it because it's often sold out at booths. I'm also not a huge fan of pizza slices (they're often dry), so I'm only willing to come because we were getting a whole pizza. This location is more of a pick up spot. There's a giant wood-fired oven, and it's small with few indoor tables and a bar waiting area so they have doors open and no AC. Instead they have several tables and chairs outside. The weather was alright for outdoor seating but you know I like my AC. My daughter insisted on a cheeseburger but it was not good. The burger bun was hard, like maybe it was frozen and they over heated it. She ended up only being able to eat half of the bun (top half) because the bottom half was solid like a rock. The fries were okay, not great. But that's what she gets for ordering a burger at a pizza place lol We ordered a half and half Vienna Pizza, which is a modified Hawaiian (I love Hawaiian pizza) and the deluxe, which has meat and veggies. Both were delicious but I'd argue the Vienna Pizza was better. We took leftovers home and the slices reheated well. Would order again! read more

Huge slices. Each slice is the size of two slices. Nice little place, checkered tablecloth's, a giant pizza oven just behind the counter. Large menu with lots of selection. As far as taste goes, I was a little disappointed. The sauce is kind of bland, crust is good albeit very floppy, and really greasy, but the toppings were plentiful. However because of the bland sauce I really didn't get that extra some thing that made it great. The taste seem to rely on the toppings and the crust, with the sauce sort of being a distraction. The prices were reasonable, the people were very friendly, and there was plenty of parking. Because the slice is so big, you may want to eat it with a knife and fork. Be advised that the forks are pretty flimsy, and will bend and warp quickly. I wish that fork had been a little stronger, because trying to fold and pick up such a large slice gets very messy. read more

I really do dislike giving low reviews. I am giving 2 stars for the taste and the associate who helped me. But like others I. The comment section it took too long for the pizza to come out (20ish minutes), then they said their wasn't a combo with two slice and a drink (but there is), and then last the presentation of the pizzas once I finally got them. Idk if they were getting rid of their last slices or what, but I wasn't expecting this. It's def a last resort place as the owners (not the associates) look like they are indifferent with the quality of the food and prices. I will say the cheese slice, despite presentation, was good. I really like pizza Vienna because their prices are amazing and the food is just really good I would recommend eating there more than doing takeout though. The pizza comes out amazing when it's fresh but if you get it delivered it's not as good. The outdoor seating is nice but it can be pretty dirty and sticky. read more

We ordered take-out. A supreme pizza, and 2 eggplant parmigiana subs with extra sauce. The pizza was OK, not great, a bit floppy, but acceptable. The eggplant parms, however, were awful. While the eggplant was clearly not made from frozen, it was more like baba ghanoush than fried eggplant slices. Why not exclusively wood-fired? Kurdish pizza (4/5) - The pizza is loaded with veggies - roasted red peppers, fried eggplant, spinach, onions, and coated in mozzarella cheese. Glad I swapped out the mushrooms for onions, the thinly sliced red onions really elevated the flavor. While the pizza was nice and thin and better loaded up with toppings, it wasn't particularly memorable. A step up from Domino's. It's not quite good enough to go back, but if I lived in the neighborhood, it'd be worth the convenience. The Eggplant Parm (2/5) - Missed the mark. While the fried eggplant was fresh and not too oily or overly cheesy, it just wasn't what I expected and threw in the towel 1/2 way. If you're craving an Eggplant Parm hero in the area, go to Manhattan Pizza. Garlic Knots (4/5) - The 4 bite size garlic knots were tasty. Definitely worth getting! We ordered online and it was a seamless process (similar to Dominos) - very easy to swap toppings, and also 1/2 pizzas. 2/3/21. As Michaelangelo would shout, "Pizza Time!" As Shredder would say "Useless Jellyfish." This place is not the best pizza I have ever tasted, but it is not the worst pizza I have ever tasted. The manager who took my order was polite, but not someone I think I would want to work for. The pizza was loaded with my meat lovers pizza. I added green peppers and pineapple. I think this made all the difference. My wife ordered the Margarita Pizza and she liked it, but today she thinks the pizza is what is making her sick. I had the rest of this pizza this morning, so we will see how it makes me feel. This restaurant has been open for a while and I did like the photos on the wall. It set the tone of the early 1940's a bit. While waiting for my pizzas to be ready, I checked my wifi to get a stronger signal. The manager had no idea what the password was for the store's wifi. Went in and ordered 2 slices yesterday afternoon. Yes they have slices but it took them over 25 minutes . I ordered 2 slices with pepperoni and sausage. What I got was one slice of pepperoni and one slice of sausage and neither one tasted good. Pizza was soggy and crust was terrible. I wouldn't recommend them. By far my largest favorite pizza spot in the dmv!! Delivery is so fast everytime - it gets to me within 20 minutes still piping hot. The crust is so perfect - thin and slightly crunchy. We weren't really hungry for anything specific so we figured we'd try a new restaurant. I remember reading about this new restaurant somewhere so headed there to check it out. We ordered olives and jalapenos on the gluten free crust, extra marinara on the side, and our favorite pasta indulgence: baked ziti. As we're in coronavirus land they told us to wait in our car and they'd bring the food out when it was ready. So we did. A young lady came running out in the rain to let us know they were out of jalapenos. No biggie, we swapped it out for spinach. The food came and we were on our way. When we got home there was garlic knots in our order. We figured maybe it was part of how they welcome people, like CPK and other places offer bread while you wait? The pizza was nothing special, it was ok. We've had far better gluten free crusts elsewhere but it wasn't bad. The baked ziti the same. Nothing remarkable. The side marinara was tiny. Wood fired pizza are the best. This place is new to Vienna but the food is so good that I know as people discover it they will keep coming back. We got the veggie lovers pizza and you could taste the difference. Kasim the owner makes the dough everyday and the sauce is slow cooked to bring out the richness of the tomatoes. Before you buy a pie, I'd suggest you buy a slice. I wish that I had. The people are friendly and efficient and they can get you a pizza on time even on a busy night. There's even an app for that. So that part is nice. But the pizza itself, the product, is bland, and by that, I mean tasteless. The pizza was hot, fresh out of the oven. The crust wasn't great, but wasn't bad either. The sauce was skimpy. The toppings were plenty, they didn't skimp on that. The cheese was a little skimpy, and I noticed that it wasn't stringy or gooey. Mainly, it had no flavor, no taste. No taste whatsoever, and I got a deluxe, which probably had 8 toppings, including green peppers and onions and bacon. Which is the other thing. On the app, the deluxe is described as three ingredients, sausage, bacon and cheese, and you can add more. What they don't tell you is that there are other toppings also included. The only clue you get about that is that you have the option to exclude a variety of toppings. But why do that if you have no clue they're included? So that can be improved. By the way, a large pizza is 14 inches, I think. Not going back, and unless they change their sauce recipe and whatever it is that renders their pizza tasteless, they won't last a year. read more

We ordered from Pizza Vienna via Uber Eats based on the reviews. This place offers a great value for the price if you like what you get. Otherwise you are dreading every single bite. The most important thing to know, is that the sauce they use is unique. It has an overly herby type flavor that overpowers and seasons everything you eat. The pizza and chicken fingers were the best, which is why we gave two stars, instead of one, as it wasn't anything worth writing home about. The Baked Ziti has no ricotta so between that and the sauce, the meal was delivered to the trash. The eggplant was disgusting.
