    Garlic fries and bruchetta!
    Paul. R.

Hi.. Came here for my wife's bday.. I heard about the outdoor patio with a beautiful view and surrounded by a forest.. We ordered the side of fries and bruchetta.. Fries were fresh cut and coated in garlic and sea salt yum.. Bruchetta was also very good. I had the beef bourguignon(like a beef stew) with a potato dumpling I loved it so much.. We also ordered the buddah bowl had a nice coconut taste to the rice.. Espressos aren't that great at all btw.. Definitely a nice surprise eating here with the scenery, patio and food.. Definitely would come back.. And bring the kids next time as well..

Great fish tacos and nice ambiance. We enjoy our meals here or just drinks and apps on the patio.

The food is consistently excellent, the staff are welcoming and attentive, and every visit feels a little special. One of the things I love most about this restaurant is the setting. Nestled along the Credit River, the atmosphere is peaceful, scenic, and uniquely local. Whether you're enjoying a quiet dinner or celebrating a milestone with family and friends, it's hard to beat the charm of this location. While I've never personally attended a wedding here, I've seen several weddings hosted at the property over the years, and they have all looked absolutely stunning. The natural beauty of the grounds and riverside setting create an incredible backdrop for special events. If you're looking for a memorable dining experience in the Halton Hills area, The Terra Cotta Inn is well worth a visit.

Would do well with some updates and elevations to bring a sense of modernity to the table. The building is lovely, however, and I can appreciate the antique design that captures the old-time charm of the restaurant. Fitting for a casual lunch or a more formal dinner. Mealwise, our dishes were tasty-- including the bread that comes with the meal!

As expected there was no seating available due to Covid-19. The food quality from the hot table was moderate (hence the 3*'s). Had a salami calzone for lunch. We also bought a blueberry/strawberry scone/biscuit. I deducted a star cause the biscuit was virtually tasteless. Almost zero taste! Found that strange considering the cost was $3.50! I'd do over but just the gelato this time.

We got almond cookies, hazelnut cookies with chocolate, pecan butter tart, strawberry cheesecake, apple strudel. My son thought the strudel was sweet. He likes uncle tetsu cheesecakes which aren't too sweet. The almond cookies had too much vanilla in them. There was an aftertaste that wasn't the best The hazelnut had the same issue. The butter tarts were good. Sweet not overly runny. You could bite them and they didn't drip out but not a firm Filling either. My friend bought the chocolate pecan? Butter tart and it was quite good. The I thought the chocolate added to it. Was worried it would make it too sweet. The Apple strudel was pretty good. I always like pastry no filo please!!!! Anyways kinda reminded me of what you'd buy in a store. I think the filling is the kind that comes from a bucket. So I don't think I'd get again unless I was in a strudel mood. I do have a weakness for strudel. Saturday mornings at st Lawrence market has a better one if she is still there. I definitely need to go back to Try the food!!'
