We visited this place expecting a good experience, but unfortunately it started off very disappointing. We were given a very small table with no heater, and the customer service was extremely poor. Our hookah order took about 45 minutes, and the staff was very unresponsive the entire time. Thankfully, Sam stepped in and completely changed the experience. He helped move us to a better table next to a heater and made sure our order came out much faster. We truly appreciate his professionalism and effort to fix the situation. That's a rare combo since most hookah lounges don't focus on good food, and most restaurants don't offer hookah. Villa Haven gave us the best of both worlds! The menu is massive, with everything from mediterranean dishes to Mexican food, burgers, and bar favorites. I went with the lamb chops, and they were excellent. Juicy, flavorful, well-seasoned, and served with a side of tzatziki sauce. We ordered knafeh, which is a warm middle eastern dessert. It came with a side of chocolate sauce. It was rich, sweet, and perfect to share. The hookah was good and well-priced, and our waitress (I wish I remembered her name) was friendly and attentive. Service overall was great. First off, I had high hopes coming here and was extremely disappointed. We came in on a rainy Saturday evening around 5pm, looking to watch the Football game. The host happily greeted us and then that was it. We sat there for 15 minutes without any server to greet us. We searched around, the few staff on hand were running around serving other tables (granted there weren't that many people inside), until we saw the QR code on the table, making the assumption that we can order from there. We ordered the Tzatziki and a beer around 5:40pm. I'd like to note We sat down at 5:11pm and no server had greeted us yet. Our food (no beer yet) arrived around 6:09pm and dropped off by a food runner, whom I asked if he if he could point our server our way since we hadn't been greeted as I wanted to order a drink for myself . He was nice and actually took my drink order for me (he told the bartender to wrong drink but he tried so I can't be mad at him). 6:20pm, a server drops off the incorrect drink order and I inform him about my Correct drink order so a couple minutes later another server brings my correct drink order and the beer my bf finally ordered. Basically one hour has passed and we finally get our drinks that we had ordered 30+ min before that. Oh and the best part, we had an 18% gratuity charge added to our bill as a party of 2. So for future: do not order off the QR code , leave immediately if you're not greeted by a server within 15 minutes, and don't order their Bloody Mary drinks (too watered down) or their tzatziki dish (pita chips are stale and dip is too watery). They offer a little bit of everything from sandwiches to pizza to tacos to hamburger to bowls and salad and Mediterranean food! We got a few items and I liked their tacos! It was pretty filling and their corn tortillas taste and looks in house! It's legit! The beef kabob plate was also so good! They have a huge outdoor area and inside is pretty big and spacious too. Unfortunately, once the DJ started playing, it was so loud, I was unable to hear others at our table talk. While Im sure the crowd was enjoying the atmosphere, I was not one of them. This place is great if you're looking for a night out with good food and good music... not so great if you'd like to talk to the people you attend with. The staff was very friendly but I was disappointed in the wait. We were seated immediately, but WOW, we waited a long time for the food. When it did come once we ordered. Im not sure if we ordered a complicated dish, but we saw 2 other tables that ordered AFTER we did get their food before us. Once the food did come, only 3 of the 5 dishes arrived. They said the other food would be right up, but it took almost 15 additional minutes for it to come. It made for a very awkward dining experience. And when the last 2 dishes came, the rest of the food was cold. We did celebrate a birthday too and they did give a very nice complimentary birthday dessert. PS: I was also disappointed that when taking payment, they had the ones where the waitress runs the card right at the table. While Im sure this is more secure for the customers, I always feel pressure when the waitress is waiting while I decide how much tip to leave. The tip buttons included 20%, 22% and 25%. The tall server wasn't able to hear us well due to how loud it is outside when we told him our order. Hookah is really good but coals don't get changed for long. I drove almost 50 minutes from Brea area to try heaven Villa restaurant I made a reservation at 7:15 PM. We arrive and I got greeted by a very nice friendly host at the front. I saw a beautiful full bar with a lot of TV around the decor inside is really beautiful and whatever it took time to create A+ when we seat down a nice attentive service greeting and welcoming us and she gave us a very good suggestion about food and appetizers. We order our appetizers which is Fries loaded with Shawarma and she gave us some plates to share. That portion was good for appetizer we all share and enjoy. We order our dinner barbecue chicken salad, shrimp sandwich, Shawarma plate and some sides plates salad and french fries and kebab. It was so delicious and the portion like I mentioned before it was big and we couldn't finish our meal. Everything was so good and they have a life, music and people dancing and celebrating some birthdays. All atmosphere was happy and beautiful thank you very much. I'm excited to be the first reviewer. It is a step up from RocknBrew. Menu is designed for everyone but with a Mediterranean or Greek flair. We had the Chicken Kabob and my wife had the Shrimp Tacos. All excellent. The sauces and hummus were actually quite good. Plus we tried the Baklava which was very different and tasty. All in all it looks great. Should do well.
