    Chicken Sheesh Kebab
    Sushil P.

Visited this for a late dinner and were told we have 10 minutes to place the last order. Restaurant stays open till 10 , but Kitchen closes at 9.30 pm. We played it safe and went with 8 Taco Plate and the chicken sheesh Kebabs per our servers recommendation. Tacos were very good and well served with good presentation. The chicken kebab was also very soft and well made. We also got their pomegranate salad which was good. We also got their mezcal drinks , Guava was excellent but passion fruit was a bit syrupy and felt a lot sweeter. They also offer complimentary Chips and Salsas which was excellent. Service, Ambience and Food was very good. Overall - A Solid Experience !

The lamb shank tacos were really good and filling, very good portion size for 1 person. The birria tacos were okay. The employees are nice and the interior ambiance is nice.

Ambiance - very nice ambiance with beautiful art works Service - our server was very apologetic for keeping us waiting and explained that it was only his third day on the job. I did not think we waited too long. He was a very nice gentleman. Food - hubby ordered burrito and I ordered a shrimp crab enchilada. The burrito was huge and my enchilada was a very generous serving (2). We enjoyed the flavors and the whole meal, in general. Parking was easy. I rate this place 3.75.

The service and restaurant is decent and not too pricey for a simple fancy Mediterranean foos

Loved everything about our meal! Beautiful interior, especially the bar area. Service was attentive and everything came out perfectly timed. We came for brunch and we definitely want to come back for dinner/lunch. Latte & matcha were both surprisingly good and creamy. Sarshir & honey was soooo rich and whipped -- I felt like a lighter version of what I usually get. We felt like the fusion was done so well here. The chilaquiles was honestly one of the best we've had in Orange County!! Feta & labneh was such a good compliment. Shakshuka was on the spicier side but honestly would skip next time in favor of their fusion items.

Loved the beef barg. It was cooked perfectly. The vegetables were very undercooked and almost raw. The service was great and one of the servers took amazing pictures of my group. The restaurant is beautiful inside and they have really nice outdoor seating.

Went for a business lunch as it is close to my office, but was not impressed with any of the food items to be honest. Didn't taste Persian much on either dish that we got. Chicken was too dry and chilly. Rice was tasteless. Service was pretty OK, but not really professional. Chips and salsa were star of the show!

Aria Kitchen is a Mexican/Persian fusion restaurant located about a mile east of John Wayne Airport in Irvine. They are located on the corner of Jamboree Road and Dupont Drive, in a center with several other food establishments. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon, and there was plenty of parking available. When you enter, there is a host stand and the bar area is on the right and features an eye-catching illuminated onyx bar top. Other dining options include the main dining room as well as a covered outdoor patio. We sat at the bar to take advantage of their happy hour menu. We were greeted promptly, and complimentary chips and salsa and water arrived shortly thereafter. The chips were fresh, and the salsa was flavorful, and had a light heat and smokiness. We ordered the guacamole ($12 happy hour price, normally $14) to go with the chips and salsa. It was a generous portion, flavorful, and the feta cheese crumbles and pomegranate seeds added a nice twist. We needed a second basket of chips to finish it all. I had the Ambulance Chaser cocktail (Ciroc Watermelon Vodka, Fresh Watermelon, Mint, Lemon, Fever Tree Club Soda, Tajin, $16). It had a great watermelon flavor, and was light and refreshing. She had the Guava Mocktail (Seedlip Grove Non-Alcoholic Spirit, Lime, Mint, Simple Syrup, Guava Puree, $10 happy hour price, normally $15). It had a nice guava flavor, and was a little on the sweeter side. We had the Two Empanada plate ($9 happy hour price), with curry potato and chicken filling. They were a good size, and flavorful. The chipotle yogurt was great for dipping. We ate them before I could snap a picture. For my entrée, I had the three enchiladas plate ($18). They let me split the three, so I ordered two shrimp and one beef with green sauce. The enchiladas are medium sized, with a good amount of protein inside. The green sauce was good, and I loved the sour cream drizzle on top. Basmati rice is my favorite, so I was happy to see that on the plate instead of regular rice. The beans were good, and again the feta cheese crumble on top adds a little twist. She had the Cilantro Lime Salad with no protein ($13). This is a huge salad with a great variety of ingredients. The dressing was very flavorful. She had quite a bit left to bring home. She also had a vegan taco ($5 happy hour price) which she enjoyed. We shared the Lychee Cucumber Martini cocktail while eating our main dishes (Effen Cucumber Vodka, Lychee Juice, Soho Lychee Liqueur, $13 happy hour price, normally $17). It was balanced, and had a nice lychee flavor without being overly sweet. It was also very refreshing, a common theme with all the drinks we had. Courtney was our bartender, and served us as well. She was very friendly and provided great service. We really enjoyed our meal. I'm sure we will return again, most likely during happy hour again to take advantage of those great deals.

This restaurant is a Mexican Persian fusion that has an intensive menu that serves both cuisines. Ordered some takeout and while the food was tasty and offered good value, the service is not quite up to par. Arrived around 6:45 and waited quite some time up front before the busy waiter greeted us. He was busy with a full section of tables and saw us up front and came to say he would help us in a minute. Props to the waiter for going above and beyond. His section was the farthest from the door. There was no host and the manager, even though he saw us just ignored us. The decor is nice but the lighting needs to be dimmed slightly to avoid giving the restaurant the cafeteria looks. I would come back again to try the Mexican dishes and hope that the place hires a host or at least has someone besides the busy wait staff that keeps an eye on the door.

The TRES LECHES is the best dessert I have ever had! Thank you for the wonderful birthday surprise Aria Kitchen!!!
    Mike S.

LITERALLY AMAZING IN EVERY WAY! First off - the chips and salsa! Fresh, hot and the biggest bowl of house made salsa - AND FREE! Second - the food is AMAZING! Get the wet burrito. It's amazing. Third - TRES LECHES dessert! Quite literally the most amazing dessert I have ever had in my entire life. Fourth - the staff is amazing! Kevan and Amir are regular servers and so friendly and fast with the chip and drink refills that you will be stuffed before your food arrives! They're the best! Fifth - the price is SO fair! You can eat for 2 with dessert and tip for around $60. And you will leave with leftovers if you hack it and fill up on chips lol Sixth - the vibe is great! Live DJ on Friday and Saturday nights - so fun!

The only bad thing about this place is the parking situation for dinner on the weekends. It's not so bad during lunch though. Service was wonderful. We got there and our server warned us that it would be a good idea to order soon because they had a large party of 30+ people and if we put in our order afterward, there would be a long delay in us getting our food. All the staff were very helpful and even though they were constantly busy, they did stop by often to check in on our group. At night, they had a deejay spinning and people were dancing and having a great time. The restaurant is clean and fun. I love Persian food. I ordered the Ash soup .It was okay, I've had better but I've also had worse. It seemed a little watery to me. Nevertheless, the cilantro lime salad with filet mignon was perfection. I could eat this every day. I did have some of the zereshk polo and it was pretty good, I love the slight tart of the barberries. I didn't have any of the chicken fajita, chicken tacos, or rib eye tacos, but the group collectively said it tasted good.

They have tons of parking in this shopping center. They share it with TONS of other places. One of my BFFs saw this on an Instagram video and wanted to check it out. *They do take reservations When we came in we checked in with one of the waitresses. She said she would seat us in a minute. To be honest, she did forget about us. A waiter walked up to us and asked us what was going on (we were standing there for around 7 - 10 minutes) and we told him we had a reservation for the speakeasy. He immediately apologized and sat us. This camp themed speakeasy has a couple booths. It's on the smaller sides. Which, speakeasy's are usually small to begin with. I did not get the waitresses name, my friend and I were busy catching up. The waitress was nice, but not attentive. I will say service was a 2/5. However, the actual restaurant, cozy pine is located in, was packed because of the World Cup being on TV. So I definitely was not going to complain The food Our food order did come out extremely FAST. Faster than our drink orders. -the campfire guacamole -BBQ shoestring fries (had bbq seasoning all over them so it tasted like a BBQ potato chip) -Glamping plate (charcuterie board) -steak tacos (one without onion and cilantro -churro affogato Again, the food was VERY fast!! And to be honest it wasn't that bad. I'll say, speakeasy's usually shine in the drink department vs food. Drinks -Lycheed and Loaded Ketel One, lychee liqueur, lemon, elderflower. This was extremely delicious! If you don't like to taste your alcohol? Go with this. It was really refreshing. Hand this to me at a spa and I'd be the happiest gal in the world -Camp Anawanna $17 Graham cracker-infused bourbon, licor 43, chocolate, torched marshmallow (the waitress catches the marshmallow on fire at the table) This one was stronger and I didn't think it was overly sweet despite the ingredients I think they had a good selection, especially for a small speakeasy. I have been to better, so I don't think I'd return. Especially since the service was not that great. We still had a good time and recommend for every speakeasy lovers list.

In fact mine had the time of their life. Just don't be those parents and bring them after 7. It is a tiki bar after all and unless they follow the rules of Arrested Development then let them chill at home with grandma and grandpa or maybe their weird Uncle Joe. Drink- Delightful. Very fun themed glassware. Presentations were beautiful and well thought out. Our server did a great job at recommending drinks that built on top of the previous one. Food- the weakest part of the experience. While certainly not bad however when compared to the rest of the experience it just was a bit lacking. The Loco Moco looked very nice. The patty was quite dry though. Yes there's gravy but that's not an excuse for a dry patty. Mac salad was very nice. Stowaway fries were fun and tasty. When you go thru the sliding doors it immediately transports you to a different time and place. Its very dark. Sleek. And modern. Yet simple. I love the big screen tvs with areal views of New York. You just sink into them. Its a small area but great utilization of the space, making it seem large and spacious. The chairs too were really comfortable to sit in. We spent 3 hours in there and it flew by so quickly. The ambiance and feel here was just truly top notch. Our waitress was Brandy, or is it Brandi? She was super cool. She was a one person crew. Basically getting orders, making drinks, cleaning tables, and checking in on us. And she did it with great charisma, attitude and personality. Super knowledgeable about the menu. Made great drinks quickly. And was just super personable. Great job from her!! Her attitude and demeanor really matched the top tier aura they were going for here. They have a great selection of drinks. From more alcohol forward drinks to light and fruity drinks to refreshing drinks. I really did enjoy their drink selections. We had a total of about 6 drinks and they were all really good! We got there: 1. Fox's wedding- light, seeet and refreshing. I love the origami piece that Brandy put on it as well. Looked so beauitful. 2. Guava chiffon pancake- it was tropical, light but also had a coconut feel to it. It was really good. 3. The Monroe- this was light but tart, but not too tart. Silky with fruit forward notes. 4. Miso honey butter corn- rarely is a savory cocktail good. But this one was pretty good. The butter fat washed burbon was super intriguing. But it works well 5. When pigs fly- came with a paper airplane on top!! Haha. Love the playfulness. But the drink was so complex yet smooth. It was really good. For the bourbon drinkers, this one is for you! 6. Smoked Old Fashion- presentation is amazing. Comes in a big glass case that has cherry wood smoke inside. When you open it, you get that intense smell of burning cherry wood. Drink is smokey but in a very good way. Tasted amazing. A true classic done right. Their food menu is very encompassing and thorough as well. From full on burgers, to flat breads, to appetizers and small bites, to salads. They have a little of everything!! We ordered the following: 1. Pub nachos- this was an extremely large plate of loaded nachos. Super crunchy and fresh. I loved the generous amount of Chipotle chicken on top. The pepper jack queso sauce and jalapeño crema was a really good sauce. It just binded everything together. The beans and the fresh jalapeño just really all worked together. It was super good. Kept you grazing and munching away, but never becoming too full (more room for their drinks!!). 2. Figgy piggy flat bread- it was ok. Sweet caramel onions and fig jam, paired with some pungent cheeses. I thought it was pretty good. 3. Shrimp street tacos- 1 order comes with 2 tacos. They were good sizes. I love their tacos. So flaverful. Everything works together. Just tasted amazing!! Overall everything about this place is 5 stars. The ambiance, the decor, the exclusivity. The service. The drinks and the food. As i said 3 hours went by so fast!! Definitely a must try when in the area. And when you stay at the Marriott, its just a simple walk back to your room. And we left feeling happy and amazing. Thank you very much Brandy!!
