Ambiance - very nice ambiance with beautiful art works Service - our server was very apologetic for keeping us waiting and explained that it was only his third day on the job. I did not think we waited too long. He was a very nice gentleman. Food - hubby ordered burrito and I ordered a shrimp crab enchilada. The burrito was huge and my enchilada was a very generous serving (2). We enjoyed the flavors and the whole meal, in general. Parking was easy. I rate this place 3.75.

Loved the beef barg. It was cooked perfectly. The vegetables were very undercooked and almost raw. The service was great and one of the servers took amazing pictures of my group. The restaurant is beautiful inside and they have really nice outdoor seating.

Loved everything about our meal! Beautiful interior, especially the bar area. Service was attentive and everything came out perfectly timed. We came for brunch and we definitely want to come back for dinner/lunch. Latte & matcha were both surprisingly good and creamy. Sarshir & honey was soooo rich and whipped -- I felt like a lighter version of what I usually get. We felt like the fusion was done so well here. The chilaquiles was honestly one of the best we've had in Orange County!! Feta & labneh was such a good compliment. Shakshuka was on the spicier side but honestly would skip next time in favor of their fusion items.

Really enjoyed the vegan stuff here- and the people serving here are amazing! Also the vegan gelato with berries was just amazing.

Went for a business lunch as it is close to my office, but was not impressed with any of the food items to be honest. Didn't taste Persian much on either dish that we got. Chicken was too dry and chilly. Rice was tasteless. Service was pretty OK, but not really professional. Chips and salsa were star of the show!

The lamb shank tacos were really good and filling, very good portion size for 1 person. The birria tacos were okay. The employees are nice and the interior ambiance is nice.

Aria Kitchen is a Mexican/Persian fusion restaurant located about a mile east of John Wayne Airport in Irvine. They are located on the corner of Jamboree Road and Dupont Drive, in a center with several other food establishments. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon, and there was plenty of parking available. When you enter, there is a host stand and the bar area is on the right and features an eye-catching illuminated onyx bar top. Other dining options include the main dining room as well as a covered outdoor patio. We sat at the bar to take advantage of their happy hour menu. We were greeted promptly, and complimentary chips and salsa and water arrived shortly thereafter. The chips were fresh, and the salsa was flavorful, and had a light heat and smokiness. We ordered the guacamole ($12 happy hour price, normally $14) to go with the chips and salsa. It was a generous portion, flavorful, and the feta cheese crumbles and pomegranate seeds added a nice twist. We needed a second basket of chips to finish it all. I had the Ambulance Chaser cocktail (Ciroc Watermelon Vodka, Fresh Watermelon, Mint, Lemon, Fever Tree Club Soda, Tajin, $16). It had a great watermelon flavor, and was light and refreshing. She had the Guava Mocktail (Seedlip Grove Non-Alcoholic Spirit, Lime, Mint, Simple Syrup, Guava Puree, $10 happy hour price, normally $15). It had a nice guava flavor, and was a little on the sweeter side. We had the Two Empanada plate ($9 happy hour price), with curry potato and chicken filling. They were a good size, and flavorful. The chipotle yogurt was great for dipping. We ate them before I could snap a picture. For my entrée, I had the three enchiladas plate ($18). They let me split the three, so I ordered two shrimp and one beef with green sauce. The enchiladas are medium sized, with a good amount of protein inside. The green sauce was good, and I loved the sour cream drizzle on top. Basmati rice is my favorite, so I was happy to see that on the plate instead of regular rice. The beans were good, and again the feta cheese crumble on top adds a little twist. She had the Cilantro Lime Salad with no protein ($13). This is a huge salad with a great variety of ingredients. The dressing was very flavorful. She had quite a bit left to bring home. She also had a vegan taco ($5 happy hour price) which she enjoyed. We shared the Lychee Cucumber Martini cocktail while eating our main dishes (Effen Cucumber Vodka, Lychee Juice, Soho Lychee Liqueur, $13 happy hour price, normally $17). It was balanced, and had a nice lychee flavor without being overly sweet. It was also very refreshing, a common theme with all the drinks we had. Courtney was our bartender, and served us as well. She was very friendly and provided great service. We really enjoyed our meal. I'm sure we will return again, most likely during happy hour again to take advantage of those great deals.

This restaurant is a Mexican Persian fusion that has an intensive menu that serves both cuisines. Ordered some takeout and while the food was tasty and offered good value, the service is not quite up to par. Arrived around 6:45 and waited quite some time up front before the busy waiter greeted us. He was busy with a full section of tables and saw us up front and came to say he would help us in a minute. Props to the waiter for going above and beyond. His section was the farthest from the door. There was no host and the manager, even though he saw us just ignored us. The decor is nice but the lighting needs to be dimmed slightly to avoid giving the restaurant the cafeteria looks. I would come back again to try the Mexican dishes and hope that the place hires a host or at least has someone besides the busy wait staff that keeps an eye on the door.

I am Mexican and I have to say this was the best Mexican-Persian fusion food. I have to say get the lamb birria tacos and the chicken flautas. We also ordered the feta fries which are soooo delicious. Overall the atmosphere and customer service is outstanding.

The TRES LECHES is the best dessert I have ever had! Thank you for the wonderful birthday surprise Aria Kitchen!!!
    Mike S.

LITERALLY AMAZING IN EVERY WAY! First off - the chips and salsa! Fresh, hot and the biggest bowl of house made salsa - AND FREE! Second - the food is AMAZING! Get the wet burrito. It's amazing. Third - TRES LECHES dessert! Quite literally the most amazing dessert I have ever had in my entire life. Fourth - the staff is amazing! Kevan and Amir are regular servers and so friendly and fast with the chip and drink refills that you will be stuffed before your food arrives! They're the best! Fifth - the price is SO fair! You can eat for 2 with dessert and tip for around $60. And you will leave with leftovers if you hack it and fill up on chips lol Sixth - the vibe is great! Live DJ on Friday and Saturday nights - so fun!

The only bad thing about this place is the parking situation for dinner on the weekends. It's not so bad during lunch though. Service was wonderful. We got there and our server warned us that it would be a good idea to order soon because they had a large party of 30+ people and if we put in our order afterward, there would be a long delay in us getting our food. All the staff were very helpful and even though they were constantly busy, they did stop by often to check in on our group. At night, they had a deejay spinning and people were dancing and having a great time. The restaurant is clean and fun. I love Persian food. I ordered the Ash soup .It was okay, I've had better but I've also had worse. It seemed a little watery to me. Nevertheless, the cilantro lime salad with filet mignon was perfection. I could eat this every day. I did have some of the zereshk polo and it was pretty good, I love the slight tart of the barberries. I didn't have any of the chicken fajita, chicken tacos, or rib eye tacos, but the group collectively said it tasted good.

Great service, good food, and a nice atmosphere. I came here for dinner with a girlfriend, and we both love Persian food. I got the tahchin with fesenjoon and tahdig, and everything about it was divine. The stew, meat and tahdig were cooked and seasoned to perfection. My friend got the lamb, and it was superb. The Mexican/persian fusion offerings looked enticing, but I wanted to try their Persian staples first. That being said, I'll definitely be back to try out the rest of their menu items.

FOOD: The food here was really great!! We tried the happy Hour menu and thought everything was great! We had the Eggplant Dip, Nachos with the ribeye on the side. They were all excellent!! Every dish had a lot of flavor. I think the eggplant may have been my favorite! I also had a ribeye taco and fried fish taco, both were great! My family had the vegan tacos and really enjoyed them. Their portions were also a good size. SERVICE: The gentleman that helped us was wonderful!! He was so kind, friendly and took great care of us! He checked in multiple times and made sure we were good. DECOR/AMBIANCE: The restaurant is really nice! We sat in the bar area because we came for happy hour. The bar is really nice! There is a beautiful tree decoration on the wall behind the bar and it lights up. I saw a glimpse of the rest of the restaurant and it looked really nice! There is also a covered patio area so looked there was a lot of seating. As we told the nice gentleman that helped us, we will be back for happy hour again or to try their regular menu!

The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, and I can easily see it being a great date spot in the evening. Because our group was so large, I couldn't sample or photograph every dish, but here is my breakdown of the items ordered near my end of the table: 01. Arugula Salad (half) $8.00 - 3 Stars - Light and exceptionally simple, topped with red onions and parmesan cheese. Frankly, it was a bit too simple, the dressing was entirely unmemorable. 02. Prime Rib Dip $25.50 - 3 Stars - This arrived looking very promising. The fries were perfectly crisp, and the creamy horseradish packed a powerful punch (it will definitely clear out your sinuses). Unfortunately, the thinly sliced meat was slightly overcooked, dry, and a bit chewy. While the au jus was flavorful, I've definitely had better prime rib dips elsewhere. 03. Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich $20.50 - 2 Stars - This was the biggest disappointment of the lunch. It looked great initially, but hiding a layer of mashed potatoes underneath the chicken was a strange choice that made the bottom bun instantly soggy. The chicken itself lacked crunch, likely because it was completely doused in what tasted like standard Frank's RedHot sauce (tangy and vinegar-forward, but not actually spicy). No wonder there are barely any photos of this online; I wouldn't order it again. 04. Lobster Roll $32.00 - 3 Stars - Beautifully presented with large chunks of lobster and a side of sweet potato fries. However, at this price point, it felt overpriced for the portion size. The flavor was a bit bland and lacked a "wow" factor. While I appreciated the use of butter lettuce to keep the roll from getting soggy, the lobster meat didn't actually fill out the bread end-to-end. On the bright side, the butter sauce was quite good. 05. Creme Brulee $12 - 3 Stars - A very standard crème brûlée with a decent portion size. It was served completely chilled, which threw off a few of my colleagues. While it's traditionally served chilled, some places serve it closer to room temperature, so this really just comes down to personal preference. 06. Fresh Seasonal Cobbler $12.00 - 3 Stars - As a massive fan of cobblers, I was underwhelmed. The berries were cooked down so much that they lost their form entirely, taking on a jam-like consistency. The crust layer was incredibly thin and soggy, making the whole dessert feel mushy. Luckily, the vanilla ice cream helped cut through the intense sweetness, but overall it was just okay. LOCATION/PARKING - The restaurant sits right on the corner and shares a parking structure with Monaco, The Trough, and Izakaya Osen. Valet parking is available, and the restaurant validates for 90 minutes. CUSTOMER SERVICE - The service seems to depend heavily on who you get. While the staff was generally friendly, they weren't particularly attentive, and we constantly had to ask for refills. To be fair, assigning just one server to a party of 14 is a tough ask, this venue is likely better suited for smaller groups. VERDICT - Overall, the menu feels a bit overpriced for the quality of the food. If my team decides to host another lunch here, I wouldn't object to returning.

The fries were uniquely cut and perfectly cooked, and the calamari was top-notch. The view and ambiance make this a great place to relax with friends over tapas and drinks. I would come back again for the quality of the food, the beautiful setting, and the wonderful service from Omar -- but I do hope management addresses the front-host experience, as it really sets the tone for the evening.
