The woman who did my pedicure was so rough and filed my nails down so hard and low that my toes now hurt. It was the poorest and quickest pedicure I've had yet. I've been going to this nail salon for 10 years, I make an appointment every two weeks. I spend at least $120 each time. They have started using more and more of the "white base powder" to lessen the color product used to save money on their end. You can see bare spots in the polish where it's dull and white. The edges are white and I bled 3 times by the time I left. Making an appointment is only useful if you're the very first person when the door opens if you want to request someone. Otherwise the appointment book is a joke. For the second week in a row, I made an appointment and I've waited over an hour for the person I requested. "I'm sorry the person that came in before you requested elaborate nail art". I was asked if I wanted to come back the next day after making the appointment 9 days earlier. They offered me a discount today and valued my 2 hours of wasted time at $6. And both times charged me to remove my own nails, which I did sitting there both times. read more

I have tried so many nail salons in the Frisco area and I happened to stop by this one while running errands. It's really big and they have lots of pedicure chairs and nail stations. Lots of color options. The staff seemed to know several of the customers that came in. The nail tech that helped me, took her time and did exactly what I wanted. Had the absolute worst experience ever. Again. We give this place a chance every few months and every time we walk away bleeding or ripped off. Today we went in and with great expectations got my daughter French tip next gen manicure which is 45$ for next gen, and 20$ for the manicure. We had a picture of the nails she wanted. Throughout the entire session we kept saying we want them just like the picture , so narrow , a little bit of an almond shape with thin white tip. By the end of the session we got round, short, stubby nails. Then we said this is not at all what we wanted, the manager gave us a million reason why they look good. We kept saying you might like them but this is not what we wanted. He kept saying they look good. We finally, after him arguing that it was our fault and she just doesn't know , we asked him to take them off. He had them taken off, then when I said I'd like to not be charged he said he has to charge me for the manicure part. I told him my daughters nails now look like absolute crsp and as a business owner wanting to retain customers, you should eat the 20$ knowing how upset we are. He kept arguing that she got the manicure part and his employee needs to be paid, as if his employee gets that 20$ which is totally untrue. So he charged me the 20$ for her "manicure". Absurd. So he would rather me pay the 20$ instead of him , than me be a returning customer. I told him there are a hundred nail salons in frisco and he said I know but I have to charge you. Do not ever go here, all they care about is their bottom line. So crazy how upside business morals and standards are. Do not go here. Please do research and go anywhere else. I know it's convenient, but your dollars matter. Do not go here. And the vibe here is like a cattle drive, the manager creaming at employees and pointing at customers to go to chairs. I had the worst service today at this nail salon by nail tech Alex. First off I was never offered something to drink but the people sitting next to me did. Nail tech Alex kept smacking my hand throughout my entire service and kept telling me to relax my hand with a lot of attitude when my hand was relaxed. At the same time he kept rudely telling me to "watch the T.V". He gave me very ugly looks that made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Alex was coughing with no mask while doing my nails as well. Once he was done he walks off with out saying a word to me and never put cuticle oil or told me to wash my hands. After looking at my receipt I was charged for "extra long nails" my nails are not extra long which is why I posted a picture. The nails are average and I just wanted to get out of that place. I walked in around 6pm for a Classic Gel mani/pedi. This was a botched job all around. I asked for simple white tips for my natural nails. The manicurist could understand that I didn't want half of my mail white. We went back and forth and she finally managed to get one hand done correctly. The pedicure was slight better, but after leaving the salon 30 mins later the polish was smudged. Generally when leaving a salon after a gel pedicure my toes are 100% dry. This was my second time trying Villa, the first time I was pleased, this time was a no. I suppose it depends on who you get to do your service. read more

This place is so unorganized and incredibly slow. It simply looks nice aesthetically but the service is sub-par. My daughter and I waited for 45 before anyone approached us (I waited longer). Then a technician came, sat down, then left again, only to come back 10 minutes later. They lost my job sheet and thought I was a different person. When she finally got started, she didn't ask what color French I wanted, I ended up with clear nails and white wide, curved tips....total opposite of what I wanted so she had to fix it. Her massage was hard in all the wrong places and too gentle in other places. This salon "looks" and desperately wants to be 5-star by playing video footage of Dubai on the big screen as you walk in and having massage chairs but service is mediocre, if that! Definitely not worth the money I paid here. *UPDATE*: Three of my daughter's gel nails peeled right off in one piece in the shower! This happened literally less than one hour of her nail service. My first visit went really well. The tech that did my pedí was really good and I was impressed by the cleanliness and that parafin was included in the price. That is more expensive in the salon across the street. I was sold. Two weeks later, on Mother's Day weekend I went again. There was a slight wait but no one before me. I waited about 10 min and then was seated and treated by the tech. She was very pleasant, slightly older than the other girls with a blond bob cut. FIRST RED FLAG As soon as she started I noticed she was rushing, barely touching my toes with the instruments, and was done with cutting, filing, cuticle push back and cutting dead skin in 5 minutes. FIVE MINUTES. Meanwhile I see the tech next to me, who started working at the same time as my tech, and she was starting to file by the time mine was done. SECOND RED FLAG She then applies the callous gel and I though...I don't even have any callouses but before I could ask her she starts buffing my soles SUPER HARD and thats when I felt an immediate stinging and I tell her to stop. She apologized profusely and I ask her to take that from my feet. She washes them but the sting is almost unbearable. She dries my feet and goes out to get the parafin. By this time I was so mad and wanted to stop the service or switch techs but no one is at the desk. So I wait. THIRD RED FLAG She comes back with the bags of parafin and with my feet on the edge of the foot bowl she tries to lower the HOT parafin bags into the bowl to cool off AND BURNS MY CALF. I have now a burning sting on my soles and a huge red spot where she burned me. She apologizes once again, profusely. She goes back to bring aloe vera to put on the burn and then proceeds to get the parafin on my feet but by now the parafin is almost solid! She still proceeds to use it and it's like wax shavings! I ask her to get new parafin and she goes off to get it. Brings the parafin and let's it cool on the floor and applies it. Afterwards she massaged me with Aloe Vera trying to make the burn better. Still bright red. She finally applies the polish and keeps apologizing, at these point I'm more mad at myself for not saying something when she started rushing through the steps than at her. Then she tells me that she is going to ask the manager to reverse the payment, since I had paid before she started. She goes to talk to him, and they appear to have a slight argument and she comes back and tells me both my mani and pedi will be free. Takes my card and reverses the payment. Cool. Two minutes later the manager calls her and she comes back saying that he wants me to pay for the manicure. Seriously? After she barely touched my toes, cuts me, burned me? FINE I JUST WANT OUT. So I pay for the darn mani and head out. I start walking out and it HURTS!!! At home I look at my feet and I found several cuts and panic. I disinfect then, apply Neosporin and cover them and pray I don't get an infection. Did this for 3 days while waking was terribly painful. After a week no infection signs, but one cut is still slightly open and painful. BE WARNED. Management could not care less. I honestly thought I should contact the TX health department and file a complaint. I still might do that, but in the meantime know that they hire people without any experience and knowledge. I doubt that this tech was even licensed to do this job. I hope that my experience helps other speak their minds when something is slightly off, and be vigilant of techs that don't have a name tag or are licensed. Update: The larger cut took three weeks to close, and it was extremely painful, because it kept opening. read more

Will not be going back- the service is all over the place- sometimes you get someone decent but a lot times the service is subpar leaving your nails looking really messy with a bunch of crud under your nails. They also are constantly telling you to "relax" while simultaneously sandpapering the skin off your fingers- like why don't you try to relax while someone saws your hand off!! I'm actually afraid to go in at times as how rough some of the nail technicians are. I kept going back mainly because of the convenience- it's so close to my house, but also would randomly get some people that were gentle with my hands and did an ok job. The tipping point, though, was after going for months they started up charging for "special shape" I don't get a special shape- I file my nails their natural shape- round- no one has ever charged extra for this. The last time was crazy- the tech insisted on an oval shape "it will look much better" I said no and round shape, multiple times- then she charged me and I said it's not a special shape- she said it was almond shape- so on her own accord she had shaped them almond even though I told her not to and then had the audacity to try to charge me for it. The next time Carol did my nails and - while she did listen and file them round- she charged me for a special shape- I told her it was not a special shape and she insisted it was and the only way they won't charge is if it would be "square" nails. Square isn't even the natural shape of your nails. I mean WTAF. Will definitely not be going back to that place read more

Ok, so this is my second time here, and it's okay, in my opinion. On my first visit, I got my acrylic soaked off and just did a regular manicure, and it was OK, but the lady next to me was asked if she wanted something to drink, and they didn't ask me until they were about 10 minutes from finishing my nails. On my second visit, which was 4 days later, I did dip powder for the first time, and it looks OK, but it could definitely be better. The guy Vincent, who did my nails, was very nice. Still, I kept having to tell him to lower the machine that they used to buff your nails because it kept burning me, and his response was oh, it gets hot, but it's OK, and I had to tell him no it's not more than once, and that kind of service is unacceptable for me. In addition, I'm someone who's very anal about their nails, so when you are taken off regular polish, there should be no left over when you're doing a new set, and sadly that was the case this visit; I can still see my old regular polish on the sides of my new dip, which I'm not OK with at all. I think it's a great place if you're doing gel or pedicure, and that's it because even for regular manicures, they just have you sit there for at least like 20 to 40 minutes to dry your nails because they don't have a fan which does not make any sense to me. However, I will say that they are very friendly here and the prices are reasonable, but they're a little too high for the service they provide. read more

THEY STOLE FROM ME I came in on a Saturday, and saw they were super busy but I still didn't mind the wait, as long as my nails looked good. I've been coming here since December and fell in love, but now I will never spend my money here. They guy who was doing my nails was super fast rushing and not even taking his time to make them look nice. It was obvious flaws going on ... my pointer finger on my right hand was so much shorter than all my nails, when I got home I had to file all my other nails to fix it. The lady doing my toes also was rushing through everything, I paid $30 dollars for this and it felt like it was a $10 one. The paint on my toe nails were thin and chipped in less than 2 days. She also never cut or shaped my nails, leaving looking goofy all different shapes & that on top of the thin paint made it look awful. So just in general everything about BOTH my nails were so horrible, I would never except that from this place seeming as they are very cocky. But it was a lesson learned, this place sucks and is not worth my money. They need to live up to the energy they give of. read more

I have been coming here for about 9 months ever since moving to Frisco. I get the nextgen/dip nails and a regular pedicure about once a month. They always do a good job on the application. Well I am currently in Florida for work for a few weeks and needed a pedicure - the place I find is not as nice as Villa Nails And Spa, but the people are very nice. The woman doing my nails is 75, been doing nails a looooooong time. When she takes my polish off, there is a dark spot on my big toe nail. I had noticed it the month Prior when getting my pedicure at Villa Nails And Spa - I asked the technician at that time if it was a bruise, like did I stub my toe ? She said yes. Well today in Florida, by the lady who had done nails for decades... I'm told it is FUNGUS and the dark spot is DIRT that has accumulated under my toenail as the nail bed has died. and that I've had it for about 6 months considering how far down the nailbed it has killed!!! She is able to clean all the dirt away and my nail no longer has a "bruise" but it is still INFECTED. I can only say that I got it from Villa Nails And Spa since that is the only nail salon I have been going to for 9 months - and their techs don't even tell you when you have fungus. They ignore it and probably reuse the instruments on the next customer. NEVER GOING BACK. DO NOT GO THERE! read more
