AAA wasn't able to replace the battery. A local tire store could not do the replacement until Tuesday. Another tire store told me I would need to wait 4-5 hours to be worked in. Advance Auto could not do the replacement as it would take too long. They did recommend Appalachian Auto Repair. They were able to fit me in right away and the price was reasonable. They were also much cheaper than the price quoted by another shop. Also, their shop is the cleanest I have ever seen.

On 4/28/2026 they called to tell me that I had a major exhaust leak and were outsourcing the repair to Quality Exhaust. The repair was complete and I was on my way that afternoon. It is now 6/12/2026, the weld that Quality Exhaust did on my suburban has failed and is back in a repair shop having the weld redone correctly. I called Steve & Stacy's and they basically just said sorry. I feel that because it is unreasonable for me to return to their shop to have the repair fixed, I should be offered a refund. they did give me the name and information for Quality Exhaust but thats all they had to offer me. Quality Exhaust was terrible to me when I called. I would not say that Steve & Stacy's are at fault for the weld failing however I made my payment to them, they should provide the refund and deal with the terrible owner at Quality Exhaust themselves.
