I took my vehicle to Steve and Stacy's on a recommendation, I dropped it off early in the am before getting a ride to work. Through out the day no phone calls did I receive from them. On my return the vehicle had never been touched, and I was given no explanation. There is a sign that say''s " Professional Service", now I'm not sure what that means because I surely did not receive any professional service whatsoever. My assumption was that they did not feel like checking the vehicle out.. So I wonder if the black Buick that's been sitting there for weeks has been going through the same thing!!! I broke down traveling from MT to PA. I was towed to Steve & Stacy's Servicecenter on 4/27/2026. They were kind and fit me into their shop. On 4/28/2026 they called to tell me that I had a major exhaust leak and were outsourcing the repair to Quality Exhaust. The repair was complete and I was on my way that afternoon. It is now 6/12/2026, the weld that Quality Exhaust did on my suburban has failed and is back in a repair shop having the weld redone correctly. I called Steve & Stacy's and they basically just said sorry. I feel that because it is unreasonable for me to return to their shop to have the repair fixed, I should be offered a refund. they did give me the name and information for Quality Exhaust but thats all they had to offer me. Quality Exhaust was terrible to me when I called. I would not say that Steve & Stacy's are at fault for the weld failing however I made my payment to them, they should provide the refund and deal with the terrible owner at Quality Exhaust themselves. read more

Because I set an appointment for transmission fluid & filter change but when I arrived they stated that my van was 14 years old and according to car fax report that fluid & filter never had been changed, therefore, they refused to give me service! Wouldn't take a look( a this was weeks ago), so, I still have found a garage that help me. I ask many mechanics in garages to perform this task but they refuse,so, my question is-- it it Lock up/ stop working, do they think I will sue them?? No, I won't sue. I need a garage that has,"Hit flush machine," will flushes All debris and old fluids; does any know where this service can be found in Kanawha county/ Charleston,WV area?? Or inexpensive conditioned transmission and a shop that will install it. I'm senior on fixed income! They need to discuss problems with customers before making appointments. I broke down while driving through Charleston, WV. I called AAA Road Service. They recommend this shop for my repairs. Tow arrive quickly and I was at the repair shop by 3:35pm. Vehicle was diagnosed in the parking lot and parts were ordered. Broken serpentine belt and bad pulley tensioner. The mechanic stayed late to fix so I could get back on the road to Michigan. Great service. We were traveling through Charleston on vacation when our 2004 Acura started with a blinking transmission drive light. Showed up when they opened, and they worked us into their busy day. After diagnosing, they were able to replace a bad pressure switch and get us on our way in around an hour. Great customer service. I have taken my truck to them multiple times. In and out in no time. My driver side wheel bearing went bad and started making noises. They diagnosed it, changed it out and rotated my tires in around 3 hours while I was at work. read more

I checked NAPA pricing on the parts they installed. They charged a hundred dollars over what I could buy the parts for. Being a NAPA Auto are Center they don't pay retail. First and last time they will work on one of my vehicles. read more

I took my car to Steve & Stacy's because they had an advertisement that stated they service my type of car. They held my car for a week and did not do a thing, but drain my brand new battery and told me they could not fix it. Of course they did not charge me. I am mechanically inclined and inspected their work. My rotor cap was cracked and broken, and the spark plug wire cover was poorly and loosely replaced. The mechanic claimed he could not find out how to hook up his diagnostic equipment to my vehicle. I have to rate their shop very low. YouTube has several videos on where the diagnostic plug is and how to replace the rotor cap, rotor button and much much more. It is very clear that they did not do any research and the advertisement they put out is a prevarication. I do not recommend Steve & Stacy's for any car repairs. read more

Will never patronize their shop again. Went in for a state inspection. I had the vehicle inspected two weeks prior and passed perfecrly however due to expired tags I did not get a sticker. I made the mistake of telling them what a hurry I was in because I was leaving town the next day. I was told that my sway bar needed to be replaced and that it was going to cost upwards of $150 for the recommended repairs. I chose not to have the repairs and took my car to another mechanic who explained that they could not find a defect with the part and immediately passed my vehicle. They DO NOT offer towing services despite everything Yelp and their own website says. Woman on the phone said "They got it wrong". And to "Try AAA" Who is they? This is your website that's saying this -_- Their website also says they offer financing help to pay for repairs and I was given very little specific information about it. Was told, "You go to this banks website and if you get approved they'll send you a card. You have to do that before you come in." So those of us with awful credit needing help to pay for repairs are almost undoubtedly screwed. I have no idea about quality of services that they perform but this wasn't the most promising of calls. So take this information and do what you will with it. read more
