Nice spot. Well air conditioned. World Cup on the tv. And I'm here to specifically review the wings, as that tends to be what I judge a bar & grill on the most critically. They do them right. Price point is a bit high, but the presentation is nice, they are properly fried and crispy, and the buffalo sauce is dark and well coated. I believe they may be sauced during the cooking process, as it has that cooked-in feel rather than a wet toss at the end. Mild/Medium spice level which is what I would expect. The blue cheese dressing was perfect too. I had whatever their pilsner on draft was at the time, and it was exactly the kind of crisp but full flavored pilsner I love. My husband and I walked in after we checked into our hotel room. It wasn't too busy on a Friday night. We were quickly taken to our seats and ordered our drinks. For appetizers, we went with the village wings in their dragon sauce. My husband ordered the Parmesan club sandwich while I decided to try the trust me burger. The sandwich was good and the burgers was decent as well. I had to add some veggies from the wings platter to my burger otherwise it was a bit dry. As for desserts, the cookie skillet stole the show! It was spectacular! My husband loved it so much and he doesn't typically like sweets. When we walked in, there are outdoor seatings as well. The sun was setting for the night so we decided to sit indoors. They had TVs on the walls playing a variety of sports game. It was a fun and lively atmosphere. read more

Whenever we are spending time at our place in Sunriver, Village Bar and Grill is our go-to spot. We have been coming here for a while as part-time locals, and the consistency is really what keeps us coming back. It is one of the few places in the area where the vegetarian options actually feel like a priority rather than an afterthought, which we truly appreciate. The atmosphere is always welcoming, but Jenna is the one who really makes the experience exceptional. She has served us several times now and she is just fantastic. My group called ahead a day early to make sure the World Cup Final would be shown on the TVs in the bar. They encouraged us to show up early to reserve our spot for the game. A visibly upset and stressed manager comes over in the 40th minute and told us we had 20 minutes to get out. We were actively ordering food and drink when the comment was made making it even more appalling. We actually thought the manger was joking. Again, we called ahead, and were recommended to arrive early so we did. If you are thinking about coming here for a game, do not do it! You will be harassed to leave before the game ends. They need to remove 'Bar' from their name if you can even watch a full game without being removed. read more
