If I could give this "coffee shop" zero stars I would. Avoid this place like the plague. Came for coffee and realized that they only have that- coffee. No lattes or anything like that. After ordering it, we literally had to spit it out while walking back to our car it was so disgusting. Like what other reviewers said- I'm not sure how they made the coffee that gross. Thought about ordering donuts but they looked old and there were bugs flying around them so decided better not. Interior of the coffee shop is also abysmal - looks like it hasn't been redone in a very long time. It was so humid and the smell made me sick. read more

Everything you'd expect out of an old school donut and coffee shop in a cozy building. Solid variety of doughnuts with a bunch of nice kids working the front. The doughnuts were wonderful. Nice cake crumble and not overly sweet. The butter crunch and blueberry doughnuts were the best of the bunch. Wasn't a big fan of the coffee and egg sandwich though. The iced and hot coffee are on the weaker side which is fine for dipping doughnuts but not great on its own. No espresso drinks either for your latte lovers. The egg sandwich was two giant slices of bread with one egg tucked in. Don't worry if you see a line, it moves fast. Worth a visit for the classic doughnuts. read more

I wouldn't put a campfire out with the iced coffee here. Basically watery cream. I can only imagine it starts with a terrible grind to water ratio, and who knows, maybe they're using salt water. Was revolting. It's 76 outside and 112 inside and humid. So the donuts were a little soggy. Below average donut, and only borderline better than something prepackaged, like Enterman's. Not exactly a ringing endorsement. Like other reviews the spot is fully staffed with what appear to be high schoolers, so set your expectations accordingly. Tiny spot, tough parking, limited hours. I hate to say it but Dunkin is better and I avoid that like the plague. read more

This little shop is extremely convenient and tasty compared to larger shops that get swamped during high season. The breakfast sandwiches with sweet bread were good, the bagels were tasty, and the donuts are always worth a return trip. Reasonably priced compared to other local alternatives. Let's preface that I went for donuts, and the taste of the donuts were great. That's where my stars go. They are doing OK with covid practices- 1 person in the tiny store at once, though there were a group of 4 people that went before me, and 4 that went after me so after I ordered it was quite hard to socially distance. Good thing we all had a mask! I walked in and was overwhelmed with the donut wall. The 2 girls behind the counter were anything but friendly, "what do you want?" was my greeting. I indicated I was a first timer, so please give me a second to look. Eye roll from the girl who was helping me. I decide to get a dozen for the rest of the fam to try. I felt extremely rushed. "What else?" "Just a second," I noted, but got an "ugh" sigh. It was my turn- I waited in line, followed covid guidelines, let them know I'd never been there before, and was immediately turned off by their attitudes. (I'm sure they assumed I was a tourist but guess what, my parents lives here year round.) Especially during a pandemic, when it's important to support each other and our local businesses, and where many people are out of work, I expect kindness. (Though I would like to note the guy helping with coffee couldn't have been nicer). So will I go back? Probably, because their donuts are good, that's why I went. Maybe just 1 or 2 though. $28 for a dozen donuts & 3 (black) iced coffees.. that's a bit absurd. read more

We live down the road in Yarmouth Port and this place is my favorite. The donuts are amazing and fresh, and you can't beat that local small coffee shop feel. Make sure you show up early if you want a particular flavor (esp on weekends in the summer) as they do sell out. read more

Great little place we came across one morning in Dennis. Hand cut donuts that are the best I've ever had on the Cape. Very friendly service and the coffee was great too. I also spotted bagels, which I'll have to try next time. They only accept cash, but luckily I had some on me at the time. No bathrooms for PAYING CUSTOMERS who have coffee and bagels INSIDE the coffee shop? REALLY?????? There is no brewed flavored coffee here - only "shots" of vanilla or hazelnut. One of us had vanilla and the other had hazelnut, and both were undrinkable. We both take our coffee black with no sugar, but these were sickeningly sweet with very artificial flavor. The bagels were promoted as "New York style" - but they were no better than bland supermarket bagels that are half the price. There is a Dunkin Donuts just a bit farther up Rt. 6A. Go there for better coffee AND bathroom accommodations. read more

I've been going here every summer since the Village Coffee shop opened. Yes it's cash only, but there are various signs throughout the shop stating this. The customer service is amazing, very friendly and welcoming and the doughnuts are delicious and always fresh. It's a great place to go there's seating- and yes a line does accumulate, but you're gonna get that anywhere on cape. 10/10 read more

Wow is all I can say! Talked to the owner and he has it going on. Experimented with a local coffee roaster to make a blend exclusive to his shop. After a few tweaks I'd say he is right on. To get this good a cup of coffee from a single store operation, let's just say, bring on the donuts. What he did here is unbelievable.... He went to his favorite donut shop when he was a child and worked out a deal rather than attempt to make them in house. They are shipped in fresh daily at O'Dark thirty and ready when the door opens for business! Combine all this with a great staff, usually he or his wife are on duty, and this coffee, along with these donuts, bagels, and assorted pastries and muffins, makes this a definite stop before the beach or starting your day! Should be called "Village Donut Shop." Good donuts but had to leave to get coffee somewhere that had non dairy options. Really there are no coffee options besides coffee and regular cream. Cute place if it only had options and bathrooms for customers. You think "coffee shop" you think lattes and such... here it just means a styrofoam cup with decent tasting coffee in it according to my wife who still got something at our next stop since she wasn't sure if it was regular or decaf. read more

Some staff are friendly and others not. Limited selection and frankly donuts taste the same as dunkin donuts.

5 stars for how delicious the donuts are here. They are baked fresh and there are many flavors to choose from. I loved the Boston creme as well as the apple fritter. A dozen donuts are approx $13 which isn't bad for the quality you are getting. I wouldn't recommend the coffee, but will definitely be going back for more donuts! read more
