    Buttercrunch Donut
    John H.

Everything you'd expect out of an old school donut and coffee shop in a cozy building. Solid variety of doughnuts with a bunch of nice kids working the front. The doughnuts were wonderful. Nice cake crumble and not overly sweet. The butter crunch and blueberry doughnuts were the best of the bunch. Wasn't a big fan of the coffee and egg sandwich though. The iced and hot coffee are on the weaker side which is fine for dipping doughnuts but not great on its own. No espresso drinks either for your latte lovers. The egg sandwich was two giant slices of bread with one egg tucked in. Don't worry if you see a line, it moves fast. Worth a visit for the classic doughnuts.

Iced coffee in its rightful place.

I wouldn't put a campfire out with the iced coffee here. Basically watery cream. I can only imagine it starts with a terrible grind to water ratio, and who knows, maybe they're using salt water. Was revolting. It's 76 outside and 112 inside and humid. So the donuts were a little soggy. Below average donut, and only borderline better than something prepackaged, like Enterman's. Not exactly a ringing endorsement. Like other reviews the spot is fully staffed with what appear to be high schoolers, so set your expectations accordingly. Tiny spot, tough parking, limited hours. I hate to say it but Dunkin is better and I avoid that like the plague.

Great great donuts! We went here twice on our trip! Best I've ever had on cape cod! No wait!

Pink sprinkle, honey dip, double chocolate and chocolate cake donut. So good!!

Delicious donuts! Very fresh. The service was friendly too. Cash only like the other reviews said, but there is an ATM inside. $12 for 6. Yummm

I love Village! What a hidden gem! They are extremely consistent, have a huge selection of donuts, bagels, and breakfast stuff. The coffee is great too. Cash only, ATM inside, only open on weekends. I highly recommend Village Donuts. Their Covid protocols were excellent too, with cleanliness, and keeping 6 feet, only 1 customer in at a time.

My new favorite donut shop on the Cape.

The people are nice but the food and coffee is god awful. The coffee tasted like dirty hog water.

Some staff are friendly and others not. Limited selection and frankly donuts taste the same as dunkin donuts.

Awesome apple fritters! However, ice coffee was a bust. Also, felt it was a bit overpriced and cash only.

The prices of our quiche and coffee was fair, I hate to say it but I haven't had a decent cup of coffee during our visit so far. Separately, the pie prices, at $40, seemed steep, although we did not purchase one and therefore cannot comment on if it's worth it. Parking proved somewhat challenging, as it is at the rear of the coffee shop, potentially making patrons feel somewhat confined or trapped. Nonetheless, pedestrians can access the shop easily straightforward walk-up. Upon entering, the warm and inviting atmosphere, reminded me of an East Coast Cracker Barrel, because it has an assortment of souvenirs including hoodies, homemade jams, and more. The service provided was satisfactory. Oh I remember something funny. Lol we accidentally went past the drive way and came across a dentists parking lot with a handwritten sign that said: "No parking for coffee fufu drinkers" I thought that it was kinda funny

It is bright, immaculate and has a great view of the Harbor. The staff is friendly and great at what they do. The sandwiches and pastries are top notch. And most of the pastries are made by several small local bakeries. You can tell that the family who owns this place puts a great deal of care into every detail, treats their staff well (sad that this has to be mentioned, but a lot of places do not, and it's something that is important to me) and puts in the extra effort to support their community every chance they get. The interior, though compact, boasts a sleek, elongated design that makes the most of its layout. The place is clean and new looking. Customer service was fantastic. Prior to visiting, I had no idea this hidden gem was a haven for media enthusiasts, but now I'm thrilled to have stumbled upon it. After being underwhelmed by some of Massachusetts' other coffee. I was determined to find a place that truly understands the art of coffee and I was uplifted by the warm welcome we received. The half-and-half PB cup latte and vanilla caramel latte I ordered were a stroke of genius - perfect for the indecisive among us! Not only was the taste sublime, but the idea of a split cup was clever too. Parking, by the way, is plentiful at the rear, though the front area is challenging. Given the fantastic experience I had, I intend to make a return visit before my vacation is over. I have to admit, I'm a bit envious of the locals who get to experience this gem daily! Highly recommend!
