Was delighted to see gluten free offerings, and was anxious to check out several bakery items. However, was disappointed when I got there 10 minutes after opening and only one item was available! The crumb cake lacked flavor, and proper texture. I will go back tomorrow later in the morning to try some of the other offerings, but so far I'm unimpressed with a business that opens and nothing is ready! OK, I'm back and I'm told neither the cinnamon rolls nor the scones are gluten free! The menu is misleading to say the least. Only the sandwich bread, coffee cake and chocolate chip cookies are gluten free. The menu only marks the bread as GF nothing else. Menu is inconsistent and misleading. I made two trips there and was disappointed twice. No sense ever going back there. read more

To me and my wife, just okay but we would not call it amazing. Eggs Benedict for me was eatable but the eggs were not cooked very well. The potatoes were overcooked and the service was a bit too slow. The restaurant was incredibly noisy. But like I say it was just okay, not Amazing. We would not go back there. read more

Bee bopping around ptown for the weekend, we went out driving and hit this spot up. Right off the cape is generally a 10 on the queer o meter, and this joint didn't disappoint. It's a walk up, order, sit and be served kind of place. The staff were all very nice. And the food was fresh fresh fresh. What we got is what you see. No drinks, we already had coffee during the car ride. And not cheap at $33 plus tip, but the portions were good size and good quality. You'll come to find nothing on the cape is cheap or even cheap-ish for cost. Well, take a deep breath and enjoy your time on the Cape. CHEERS!! read more

We went for breakfast after reading about their homemade breads and baked goods. It's a walk up counter and seat yourself. We started with the coffee cake and it was so yummy. They served a large piece. Then we ordered eggs Benedict and pancakes with a side of bacon and real maple syrup. Everything was good. Nothing too exciting. We missed the diner style of a waitress coming around to refill your coffee. Not sure if we'd return but we are glad we tried it. read more

Food was great! Bread was from scratch. They had sampler pieces of some of their other baked goods by the register. The coffee was beanstock coffee, which was sooo good. The sign says, "Amazing Breakfast" and signs don't lie! Driven past here a few times and was curious so when our travels brought us by on a recent morning, decided to check it out. Order at the counter and they deliver to you. Options for breakfast and baked goods are sufficient. We split a cranberry scone which was delicious. Not overly sweet. She had the classic Benny with hollandaise on the side. I had traditional eggs over easy with bacon. The breakfast potatoes were crisp on the outside, velvety on the inside and well-seasoned. Toast was home made and delicious (sour dough). Bacon was high quality. Iced coffees were yum. A really good breakfast! read more

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this restaurant. Great location & they have indoor & outdoor seating. They offer many gluten free options including homemade coffee cake & scones. We tried the gluten free blueberry pancakes, which were light, fluffy & delicious! 3 giant pancakes. We tried the mushroom, spinach & cheddar cheese omelet which was light, fluffy & delicious and served with home fries & toast made with fresh, homemade bread served with a homemade cranberry jam. We also tried the homemade cinnamon bun and the GF blueberry scone. The service was prompt & attentive. We will definitely return! read more

Okay so I do not have a picture of the Coffee Cake, but it has to be the best thing I have ever consumed. I have now purchased it 3 weekends in a row and it has yet to disappoint. Excellent food. We had a cinnamon roll (which was more caramely and SO good), blueberry pancakes, avocado toast, homemade bagels, and eggs. The pancakes were the best I've had outside of the ones I make at home because they weren't super sweet. They had just the right amount of berries too. Coffee was strong and perfect. Only thing we didn't like was how much we had to do (self serve coffee, water, etc). The food was worth it though. Staff was really friendly and nothing took a super long time to make. read more

It was our first time staying in Wellfeet, MA. After an online search, we decided to try Laura and Tony's. There is a sign outside saying, "Amazing breakfasts." They were not lying!! As other reviews have said, it's not much to look at from outside. Once you go in, you are treated to a display of homemade treats, a great menu, a bright area with friendly staff. After ordering at the counter, there is inside and outside seating. The food is delicious. We ate there four times and tried something different each time. I recommend everything!! While the menu isn't extensive, I believe there is something for everyone. If you are gluten-free, Laura makes a wide selection of treats, as well as offering gf bread. My brother-in-law is gf and went back a couple of times, just to grab a crumb bun! I'm looking forward to going back next year! read more

What a treasure. Food choices are great. Baked items are simply delicious.. and terrific coffee. You order at the counter, get a number and the staff brings it to your table. Love that you can sit inside and outside. We had the omelets that include bread (delicious) and potatoes. Hands down the worst eggs Benedict I have ever seen or tasted in my life. Laura, the owner, is a real peach as well and clearly Cannot take criticism, as me returning my plate sent her into a defensive frenzy, loudly yelling "well I've never heard of that in 19 years but whatever!!!!" Causing a scene in her own establishment. Based on all of the other reviews, most being about her awful demeanor, this is not the first time she acts crazy. Avoid this place. There are no other options but to give this place a solid five stars. My BF did some research (bonus points) since I love brunch and we drove out here on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend from Orleans (about a 15 minute drive). The place was packed with a wait outside, but for two people, we only waited 10 - 15 minutes. Having a nut allergy, once inside, I checked out the buffet and didn't think there was a chance in heck I could enjoy the buffet food, but the waiter explained that this establishment is NUT FREE and I was instantly in love. The buffet is filled with breakfast goodies. I especially loved the fresh cinnamon buns and homemade mini bagels - YUM. Hands down, one of the best buffet options here are the Charleston grits, they are magical and tasty and I couldn't get enough. Everything I sampled was out-of-this-world fresh and it just kept getting better. I highly recommend trying the eggs bene as well. You get one per person, special order, but it's included in the brunch cost and the hollandaise sauce was fantastic. I loved my $3 mimosa and could have had more, but it was 11 am on a Sunday and we had a lot to do. Hands down, this was the best brunch meal/buffet I've ever had. For $13 you get a fantastic buffet with more than enough options. This place is worth every penny and more. read more

I really want to like this place. Number 1 complaint is it is dirty. Was seated at a corner table, bugs and spider webs all along the wall. Asked if they could wipe it and the hostess sat us at another table and then of course proceeded to seat another couple at the same table without cleaning it. Tables are sticky and not cleaned properly. Food all over the floors. Food was plentiful and a good variety but nothing was great. Just ok. read more

It's rare when I find an excellent breakfast place, even more so when that breakfast place is on Cape Cod, and even more so when it's on the lower cape. It's only open for breakfast. Not lunch or dinner. They close at 12. That said, if you are in the area or on your way to P-town with a mind to eat breakfast on the way, then your mind should be set on this place as the spot. We took our time enjoying every bite of their buffet which put other buffets on the cape to shame. You know how buffets have football size bins of scrambled eggs or pancakes that just wait begging to be selected? Not this place. They make in just enough portions that they are always replacing with fresh portions. Take the quiche for example. We took the last two on our first pass. They brought out another fresh dozen. By the time we finished our last plate, they "refreshed" the quiche four times. It was that delicious and fresh. There's something for everyone. You are getting a far much better value for your money than McDonald's or even The Coonamesett Inn in Falmouth. Once you eat here, you'll understand why that's saying a lot and this place is getting five stars. read more

The thing I DON'T like about a lot of breakfast places is that they tend to over feed us. They load up the plate with too much egg, too much potato and just enough meat then charge 14-15 dollars for it. I grew up having to finish everything on my plate so this style of service doesn't always make me feel good unless I starve myself for two days prior to the feeding. I don't have too many good memories of "the buffet" lest it be back in the old boy scout troop 78 and some odd pancake breakfasts served by the Knights of Columbus. But this was great! Perfect! Excellent! Superlative as a buffet could be. Not only do they have an all you can eat policy the food is home cooked and delicious! Eggs - delicious! Bacon and sausage- delicious! An incredible array of tasty cakes, pastries, pancakes and get this... lox. I couldn't believe it. A whole plate full of carefully laid out lox! Now I personally don't like lox but I have many friends who swear by it and would kill for it! To my lox loving friends- shuwowie! Treasure chest found in this breakfast place. Not only can you choose the right amount of food for your appetite the choices are many! AND you can order eggs Benedict or ANY KIND of omelette if the hot quiches, the scrambled or the eggs Florentine don't do it for you for no additional cost. Flat out, you will not find another consistent, reasonably-priced (dare I say cheaply-priced), breakfast buffet on the Cape. Let alone one that rivals Laura & Tony's. The food is virtually under appreciated in its quality because it's a buffet. And that isn't to say people don't acknowledge how good it is. Simply that with the mass eating that a buffet brings on, many may miss just how high grade the food is. Aside from that, $12 virtually gives you and endless window of gourmet food. $3 gives you strong brunch drinks. And the coffee at Laura and Tony's is beyond in point. Truly settled in a smaller, local mom-and-pop this is the spot you should go any day of the week if you're around the Eastham, Wellfleet, even greater Cape Cod area.
