The office staff is starting to become unreliable, as they fail to return multiple phone calls, have been unable for the last 5 years to help set up auto-renewal of their own in-house dental plans, and pass on messages. Worst clinic ever i would not recommend to ever again all they do is rip u financially

Stay away from these ripoff artists. They claim to need 48 hours to verify your insurance. If not verified, they will ask you to pay $450 for a cleaning. What a ripoff! I went down the street to another dentist off Eola the very next day and received a great cleaning and didn't pay a dime. Plus, they don't have the guts to call an upset customer. Cowards! Finally, they have the worst technology! Be prepared to take 6 pictures and list every time you sneezed (seriously, I'm not kidding). What a horrible dentistry! read more

Professional and courteous manner on phone and in person with office personnel. Every hygienist I've had has been friendly, professional and detail oriented. My favorite hygienist is Jacora, she is calming, friendly and very thorough. I've had excellent care from Drs. Lakha and Adams, from fillings to crowns. Never before have myself and child been treated so poorly by a so-called medical professional. My daughter had an appointment to get 2 fillings today. She wasn't very happy to have to get fillings and let the hygienist know that. When the doctor came in, the hygienist told him that she wasn't thrilled about being there. As soon as she told him that he had a major attitude with her. She had a little sass and was crying softly (nothing like previous appointments where she's had full blown meltdowns) He was very harsh and rude in the way he spoke to her and refused to treat her because of her "bad behavior." He told me she would need to be referred to a dental office that offers sedation. I told him that her dad's insurance does not cover sedation for dental, and his response was that I would just have to pay more out of pocket for her fillings then. He continue to scold me and Emma for her bad behavior and for the way she spoke to him---now I'd be the first one to admit when she is being bad, and she wasn't. But the way he spoke to her, really upset her, and obviously she was crying more. He leaves the room and the hygienist tried to calm her and told me that the doctor had a right to refuse treatment because of Emma's poor behavior and that the doctor didn't have to be spoken to the way she was supposedly speaking to him. Believe me when I tell you that she was doing nothing wrong, I mean it. This is all after they've collected $494 from me for the appointment already, so I inquire about a refund. She tells me that she will tell the office manager to issue a refund to me, but it could take up to30 days to issue. If I wanted to I could schedule an appointment with the only other HMO dentist they have on staff, and it would be paid for already. I kept my cool and said that my daughter would not be returning to that office again and want a refund issued immediately. On this doctors bio on your website, Dr. Henley makes the bold claim that he puts patients of all ages at ease during treatment --and that could be the farthest from the truth. He made an already anxious and dysregulated child hate the dentist even more now. Shame on him and the way he treated a scared 9 year kid into believing what happened today was her fault. read more

I've been a patient at Village Green Dental for many years, and while the dentists and hygienists have always been kind and professional, the experience I had with the front office staff during my most recent visit was extremely upsetting and disappointing. Upon arrival, Makena stood at the front desk without a greeting--no "hello," no warmth--just immediate concern about a payment needing to be made before my daughter could be seen. I asked why, since the visit hadn't even gone through insurance yet, and was told that "Codi in billing" said patients couldn't be seen unless payment was made in advance. I asked to speak with Codi, and Makena returned to inform me that Codi was too busy in her office to speak with me. Then, rather than helping resolve the concern I was raising, Makena began discussing an upcoming balance for my other child's fluoride treatment--something I had already approved and had nothing to do with the appointment at hand. I found that both unnecessary and inappropriate. I simply wanted clarity on why I was expected to make a large out-of-pocket payment before insurance had even reviewed the claim for this visit. To make matters worse, Codi eventually did come out--not to speak with me professionally, but to tell me she was off the clock and holding her child. I told her I didn't see the relevance of that if she was choosing to engage with me. What followed was an argument that felt completely avoidable and unprofessional. She accused me of disrespecting her in front of her child, but the reality is, if she was truly off the clock and concerned about that, she should not have come out to confront me while holding her child in the first place. The entire interaction left me feeling that the staff--specifically in billing and front desk--cared far more about money than about patient experience or basic respect. After years of being loyal patients here, it's incredibly disappointing to be treated this way. Again, I want to emphasize that the dentists and hygienists have always been wonderful, but the front office staff today made us feel unwelcome and dismissed. This is not the experience any patient should have--especially one who's been coming here for so long. read more

Village Green Dental does NOT disappoint! I had another wonderful check up today. Dina, my dental hygienist was exceptionally great! She cleans my teeth gently yet efficiently. She's a pleasure to be around. You can tell she cares for her patients and loves what she does. Both, Dina and my favorite dentist, Dr. Lakha are very accommodating in making the dental experience a stress free one. I actually can say that I look forward to my dental appointments! I had Dr. Henley and he was not willing to listen to my needs and wants. He quoted me a treatment plan that I had to follow and it wasn't what I wanted. Basically it's his way or the highway. Very rude and seemed snake-y. Pressured me into getting the work done same day to charge me up front. I told him needed to talk to my husband and he basically left. Stopped talking to me. My husband has experience reading comparing the treatment plan against the insurance policy. Very fishy business practices here. read more

Village Green Dental is the best!!! Thank God I found them a couple years ago!!! My young son and husband also are patients. Dr Cho is an incredible dentist, kind and reserved, he's licensed to do it all. He was able to save my cracked tooth with a crown. Fast forward to today Michelle was my hygienist and God bless her because I was a nervous wreck with this cleaning appointment and she was so sweet and such a professional!! I had white plaque all over my front bottom teeth (perimenopause is the gift that keeps on giving ugh) and I cut my gums up pretty bad from trying to floss it off before the appointment (painful lesson learned ugh) and Michelle was an angel. So gentle, no judgment, really cares about her patients...I didn't even need numbing spray or anything!!! No pain!!! And I'm very sensitive!!! I couldn't believe it, what a relief!!! It's Michelle for my cleanings from now on. Dr Hanley was my dentist for this appointment and he was awesome!!! So kind, funny, really knows his stuff and cares about his patients. I'll be seeing him from now on because hurray he's covered by my insurance. Also fyi they are very upfront and clear about billing and or if you need work done other than cleanings, no pressure for anything. When i arrived, the dental assistant Kaitlyn was warm, professional, and reassuring, making the whole process stress-free. Went in for a likely root canal and two fillings, left with two fillings and a crown. One of the fillings was the root canal that became a filling due to the Dr.'s skill; the final filling became unnecessary once doing the work and getting a better view. Got a crown for the bigger filling to make sure it all stays in. I appreciate the nimbleness and skill of the Dr. and his team!
