Loaded with fresh vegetables and black olives (an ingredient that many places skimp on). Traditional veg without trying to get too fancy (E.g., olives, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions). They advertised their specials on the first page so you could apply the appropriate coupon code at checkout. Last night, We brought our own bottle of wine and I asked if we could drink it there. The manager said no, we sell wine here. He did not offer a corkage fee and acted like I was taking up too much of his time. Later, when I suggested they all they offer a corkage fee, he said I could pay for a bottle of wine, $28. Pretty good! I had low expectations because pizza in this county overall has been disappointing besides pizza my heart, mentone, east end gastro pub, and mountain Mike's (two of which are chains). We were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed the pizza and the sandwich was pretty good too! We came back again less than a week later. The pizza texture is on the crispier (thin but thick at the same time?) And crust gets big bubbles. I could see them popping the dough bubbles while waiting inside. We love Village Host! We come up to Aptos monthly and usually always get a pizza here with my in laws. Our favorite is the Triple P, but tonight we did a classic pepperoni and it was delicious. Service is relatively quick, and we like that we can do a gluten free option for my MIL when needed. We usually do takeout, but they do have plenty of tables/booths and some arcade games to keep people or kids busy. Pretty old school vibe in there which I like! read more

Staff was friendly. A couple downsides to this pizza place but over all was an okay experience. I "think" the pizza dough was homemade. I have been going to Village House since I was about six years old and it first opened in Seascape. It used to be a tiny little section of the Seascape Village, but it has grown. Kylie was the young lady who took our order, she was super patient and kind with me and made some suggestions on the non-meat side that made my taste buds celebrate! After a rough day with my son, the coupon sent to me was for capitola, then i couldnt navigate the website to find their standard coupon.
