This place was great! Staff was friendly. Food was solid, not super remarkable, but it tasted good. Place seemed clean, would go back again!

Good food and great service. What more can you ask for on a quick pit stop for breakfast?

I've never really been a fan of breakfast foods especially around breakfast/brunch time. It's a shame that most brunch places close around 2pm. Insert Village Inn. A modest diner-style eatery which boasts quite an extensive menu featuring the classics (2 egg combo with meat) to a bit more elevated fair (French toast with strawberry and banana!). Not only do they serve breakfast, they have a few dinner options like burgers, sandwiches, and home style dinners which all sound extremely appetizing. Service here is friendly and fast.

When I sat down and saw this dirty ass wall I knew I was going to be in trouble but against better judgement I tried it anyway.

Yeah...Just turn around and walk out. This place barely gets business it seems and everything is disgusting. Even the food they serve you is turning rancid. My cheese had a small mold forming on it, and the lettuce was brown in multiple spots. Like I said, seeing that filthy wall as I sat down was a HUGE red flag and I should've known better. Village inn is a place I frequent for a nice meal that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, but honestly if it's this garbage you're going to serve it's no wonder you're all struggling financially as a chain.

I'm here for the pies, the hot breakfasts and unlimited coffee. They also have a super positive attitude and a friendly staff. I've been going to the Southland's locations since Southland's opened and never really had any problems. The wait time is usually under 5 mintues on busy days. Although the food service can be later then other breakfast places. The skillet meals are delicious and you can request different proteins. There hasn't been a pie, I didn't like here. During the holidays you can pre-order your pies. Most of the time you don't have to worry about not having your favorites when you arrive.

Food: Very Very basic. No flavor. The only dish I enjoyed was the country fried steak and gravy.

It's just another ihop with creative pies instead of the creative pancakes. Nice to relax and just chill and catch up. Pies are good.

Cool place, good crowd, nice bar area, friendly and attentive service, yuuuuge and diverse menu, and respectable selection of local craft beers, *but* quite overpriced. Lazy Dog fancies itself a scratch kitchen (which may be true), but it has more of that "chain feel" to it. Nevertheless, it was solid and worth a stop back, because they have a good variety of choices to please nearly all palates. Dave Portnoy 7.3

Not eating pork I figured I could scrape off the bacon from the spinach side. No way. For you bacon lovers this side is filled with bacon. Way over the top. Hubby had the BBQ Ranch Burger and said it was very good. He subbed truffle fries and they were also good. My beef was the house vodka soda and lime. No vodka could be tasted. I realize it's a happy hour beverage but I don't want to pay even 5 bucks for soda water with lime. The Chardonnay was much better. Hubby had the NA IPA and reported it was pretty good. Time to bring in some BA Athletic for the NA beers. I think we will go back to Highlands Ranch if we need a Lazy Dog night again though.

Inside and outside seating is available. Service was great. Our waitress was rushing the whole time with all of her tables. The food: I had biscuits & gravy, and a Twisted Philly. Both were really good. I really enjoyed the spice in the Philly. My wife really liked her chicken fried steak. She nearly ate the whole thing. My son liked the hangover bowl but he wanted more tortillas. He got 2 and tried tipping my home fries to see if it would be good. Other than that, our meal was good.

The space is nice and quaint but the seats at the high top tables made for an uncomfortable sitting situation for me. My butt isn't big but it's not small but I kept sliding while seated as did my husband so he grabbed a yellow chair from the bar. We even had a conversation with the table next to us and they experienced the same thing! Anyway, I ordered the grilled chicken avocado sandwich and the house potatoes and a coke. Not bad, loved the house potatoes and a side of bacon cooked extra crispy. My hubby ordered pancakes, two patties (frozen) eggs and house potatoes too. He said they were ok but ate the food any way. The customer experience wasn't bad at all the waitress was quick and doing her best to get the food out hot and fresh. One thing would be great is to ask guests if it's their first time and share the favorites of the house and make recommendations. My suggestions to the owner, please replace the sliding chairs and if you need help getting some wooded high bar chairs, I can help. Would I try it again ?
