Worst dry cleaners I have ever been to . It doesn't seem that the clothes were even cleaned, multiple stains left on them . When I bring it to her attention , the lady is rude and ruthless . Can't even understand what she is saying . Blames it on me that I stained it and she can't guarantee removal. In reality , they are some slight stains that ended up coming off with a water wipe, so she is definitely lying. She is absolutely ridiculous, rude and unprofessional . Taking care of my mom these days got me reacquainted with Ashburn area again. These dry cleaners are extremely close to my parents house. They are located in the Harris Teeter shopping center. And my parents go almost weekly for laundry needs. Today I dropped off 6 button down shirts for my dad and 3 blouses for mom. The owner was really nice and asked how my other sister was doing to my mom. Laundry prices are very competitive and less expensive than what I'm used to paying in FL. Alterations and other services are a bit more pricer than a few nearby places. Policy- You pay when you drop off your clothes. They don't accept credit card if your total is less than $10. DO NOT GO HERE. They will damaged your clothes instead of simple apology this old Korean lady blames my wife instead. End of the day they called police 2x's on me and both time they promised us they will reach out to insurance company but they lied each time. I have recording from beginning to end they did promised me they will contact insurance company for reimbursement. Unfortunally they are dragging this now it's about a month and nothing has been done. I can't believe they are still in business at 2.3 stars out of 5. I wish I knew before I went to Narrow Gate Cleaners. Plus they are keeping hostage to my wife Burberry jacket. My recommendation to everyone BIG 0 / NO STAR. Take your business somewhere - else. Update on picking up the suits. Owner blamed me for her mistake saying she texted that she's closing early. Turns out she recorded my phone number incorrectly. She took the suits and hung them back up and said I wouldn't get it unless I paid. This woman is ruthless and unprofessional and deserves ZERO stars. Recently moved up to the area, so I was in need for a regular dry cleaners to go to. This one was convenient for me to get to with work. Sadly, the front desk person who is usually there doesn't seem to want anyone's business. She's very anti-social to put it nicely. I thought at first maybe I wasn't being pleasant enough so I tried to be extra polite, but that didn't seem to change anything. Maybe it was just me still, no, interactions with other customers seemed similar. Okay, fine, I'm really only there to get my clothes cleaned and pressed; and this place is pretty fast (usually 1 or 2 days, rarely 3 for a couple of pants and shirt). I recently ordered some alterations (there's neon signage advertising alterations and tailoring possible), and upon requesting alterations for some pants, it seemed like I had put her out to ask for them. Fast-forward a week, got the pants back, alterations just fine no real problems. But she seemed put out again that I wanted to try them on first before paying. Usually, I don't need to ask, it's somewhat expected that when getting alterations on some clothes the person wants to try them on and make sure they're correct before paying. The long and short of it is, this place has terrible customer service, I hope I'd never have to deal with her if there ever was a problem. There was someone new that I had a chance to interact with once or twice and they were pleasant to do business with, but not the older woman that's usually there. The only reason I give this place two stars is because a) I haven't had any issues with the clothes and b) they're relatively quick. This business should get zero stars. They have shrunk items and reluctantly tried to stretch them out, but worst thing, I lost two very expensive dresses by taking them to this cleaner. I took them In with other items and never got them back. When I inquired I was told the dresses were not with the items I brought and that I must have taken them to another cleaner. NO STARS...BEWARE ...Village Square Cleaners and Narrow Gate Cleaners in Ashburn VA is the same Dry Cleaning Business. Both have very bad reviews. Today I am posting this negative review to warn everyone that the Business owners at this place are not to be trusted. They refuse to take responsibility for damage they cause to the products they clean. I brought them a very expensive King size blanket and it was damaged. Very unprofessionally, they refused to take responsibility. When I dropped off, I brought them a New Blanket that just had a couple small spots that I wanted to have dry cleaned. The fabric is a Silk/Cotton blend. It cannot be laundered and must be Dry Cleaning. When I dropped it off, I told them about the type of fabric and I had each of the 3 small spots marked with tape. They required me to Prepay for the service. When I returned to pickup my blanket the following week, it looked like it had been through a very rough wash. It had dense pilling all over the entire blanket and was no longer soft to the touch. I was very upset to say the least and told them that the blanket was in new condition when I dropped it off to them. They refused to take any responsibility. They only offered to try and Clean it again. I reluctantly let them do so and returned the following week to pick up again. The condition of the blanket did not change. Fortunately, the same time I purchased the King size blanket that was Dry Cleaned, I also purchased the exact same blanket in a Queen size. I brought the Queen size with me to the Cleaners when I went to pickup so that I could show them the texture and feel that the King size blanket had when I dropped it off to them. I also pointed out the price ticket so they could see the cost of the blanket, $300. I requested a refund of my Dry Cleaning charge and for a refund of my damaged blanket. Of course, they refused. Nothing that I said or did mattered! They refused to take any responsibility for the damage. As I left, I told them that I would be disputed the charge for the cleaning with my Credit Card company and that they would not get paid, as well as posting this negative review to warn other Customers of their pitiful service.
