Brought in a friend from out of town and the blonde behind the bar took my friend's drivers license to check her age. She held her ID for at least 5 minutes looking up something on her phone to see if the ID was real and wouldn't let us talk to her or even look at my friend's face. My friend is in her late thirties and she refused to take her ID and said we had to leave. She was EXTREMELY rude! Absolutely horrible service! DON'T GO!!!! Diviest bar in the Tri Cities. Their gin and tonic was horrible and tasted really off, so much that I asked them to remake it and they asked me if it's because it was a well gin. As if I hadn't had all kinds of well gins. Sheesh. Then they said it could be because the carbonation was off. Ok? Lesson...get a mediocre drink here at your own expense because it's not their job to make you a drink you actually enjoy. If their tonic carbonation is off, it's your loss! I guess you can't expect more from this dive. Anyway, we still stuck around briefly to watch all the karaoke singers. Pretty fun environment but it looked like the groups were all coworkers or something...not reaaaallly for a younger crowd. read more

The bar it self is a good vibe, the bar tender ( the lady with the heavy makeup on and black hair a little more on the heavier side) on the other had was more focused on her friends/ co-workers than the customers. Honestly I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Here was my experience: My friends and I decided we would go out for a "going away" party for one of my buddies, he was moving to the coast so we wanted to have some fun his last night here. We started at one bar (very close to The Village, walking distance) and played some pool for a while and had all drank about 3 or 4 beers there. One of my friends wanted to do some karaoke and knew the The Village had it there. We walk in and it's super crowded, it's such a tiny place as it is and I don't like being in that crowded of areas. My friend that was moving ordered a pitcher of Irish Death and came back to sit at our table. We were served our beer without any welcome or acknowledgement what so ever. About 4 minutes later some blonde girl came over and took my friends beer. Didn't say a word. Just came over, grabbed it, and left. The beer was put on my tab so I immediately went up to the bar and asked for it back since I payed for it or I wanted a discount. She says, "I can't give you a discount so I'll just give you the beer." This was the snottiest woman I have ever met. Just looking at her while she spoke made me angry because she was so obnoxiously rude. I'm almost positive she was new because she had no knowledge of serving what-so-ever. After that we had no one come back to our table. I watched about 3 servers all go out at the same time to smoke, they all came back in and it reeked of it. I had asked for a water at one point and never got it even though I had asked several times. I left no tip. I was tempted to leave a message on the receipt telling them they are in serious need of new servers because the ones they have seem to have no work ethic, but I felt a review would go a little further than a note. I will never recommend this place to anyone. I have never felt so unimportant/ignored/uncomfortable in my life. This place is incredibly far from being, "THE FRIENDLIEST PLACE IN TOWN." read more

I have been here a total 5 times. In fact, 2 of my favorite people work there. But let me tell you, the karaoke dj is very insolent. She is uncouth and contemptuous. Her demeanor is brash and brazen. I tipped her $3 and she demanded that I give her $5 in order for my friend to sing. I have NEVER had anyone question a tip. I know a hundred karaoke dj that could fill her place for less. Please consider firing her. I will not be back & I will convey all of these negative experiences to my friends and influenced acquaintances, until the matter is resolved. read more

So, if this review was dependent on the staff I would give it 4 stars... as it stands I give 1.5, but don't know how to give half stars with Yelp. Both bartenders are very nice and sweet, albeit with our visit on a Saturday night the place was a little busy. I especially like the blonde, she is very cute, sweet, and bubbly. As for the service, there are apparently a number of regulars there, and it got a little frustrating on a couple of occasions where one of the girls were chatting with a table of regulars for 3-5 minutes while both ourselves and others were clearly in need of service. I ended up going to the bar to order drinks. To be expected for a small bar like this that has only 2 people on staff I suppose, and again, they are very nice. That being said, this review is more about the karaoke. They have karaoke something like 5-6 nights a week, and it is apparently their main draw, and the karaoke guy is TERRIBLE! I love karaoke, usually go when I'm in Seattle, Spokane, and even small town dives when given a chance. Even for the TC's, this guy is horrible. When there is a waiting list for people to sing, and the karaoke DJ consistently enters his name into the rotation every 5 to 6 songs even when it starts to get busy, that is the first sign of a HORRIBLE DJ. Isn't the karaoke supposed to be for CUSTOMERS? On a busy night, WHY is the DJ constantly in the rotation? DJ's should sing AT MOST once every 90 minutes or so, or early in the night when they are trying to build up the singing rotation. Second, a GOOD karaoke DJ typically inserts NEW singers into or near the top of the line-up. It is common karaoke bar DJ etiquette! Yet, even though we listen to the same (sometimes terrible) singers over, and over, and over, and over, you are slid into the very LAST spot to sing. We had a friend who FINALLY got the courage up to sing, then realized they were 10th in the rotation and BEHIND all the people who had been singing over, and over, and over. So of course she never sang! Really, poor, poor, POOR job by the clueless DJ. Third, they had a karaoke contest of some sort last night, and there were about 6-7 singers, of which all were the same people who'd already sung multiple times. Even though my friend had been waiting to sing after being inserted into the bottom of the line-up for about an hour, they started the contest. OK, fine, whatever... that happens at karaoke places when they have a competition. So, the regular rotation was forced to wait until the competition was gone. However, the competition was over and they went back to the rotation, and for some unknown reason, my friend who was a singer or two away (before the competition began), was inserted back into the BOTTOM of the line-up! In fact, I was sitting near the karaoke setup and ANOTHER guy at a completely different table was pissed went up to the DJ and said something to the DJ. Something like, "Dude, what the hell? I've been waiting an hour BEFORE the competition, I'm supposed to be next, and now I'm 7 or 8 singers away again? This is absolute BS." I saw the DJ go over to him and say something and shake his hand (apologize maybe?) because the guy sang very next. But he left immediately after the song too. How does the DJ so royally screw up the rotation? I think this could be a really fun karaoke place if they would find a good DJ. With a DJ who knows proper karaoke etiquette I could easily give this tiny place in the TC's 4 stars and become a regular with my friends. As it stands, I frustratedly give it 1.5 stars and a response of "debatable" as to whether I will return or not. read more

So I moved into the area a few months back and knew no one. I came here for Karaoke and a couple of beers. What a place... Diversity of clientele, and one of the best places I've found in the area for Karaoke! The servers are friendly fun and adorable and It has quickly become my favorite hangout in the area!
