He rung me up then unceremoniously stepped back from the counter and went, "Okay, there you go.", leaving me to awkwardly reach forward and grab my jumble of items I'd just paid for. We both love Pokemon, and I'm a big sports card guy. We hopped in just thinking we'd stay for a few minutes. Ended up talking to Ed for half an hour the first time. We went back a second day and talked with him. Ed has a massive mind of knowledge in cards. It's not often I get to talk about all the nuances of the hobby and how absurd and pleasant it can be. Unfortunate for me, he sold out of his Bowman Mega Boxes that morning before I could get to them. Ended up getting a Topps Mega Box and pulled an Andrew Vaughn X-Fractor Auto RC. Not bad at all. Super kind service at first…read more Being an inexperienced 14yr old I brought an item in to get a wire soldered. They said they could do it and when I got it, it was messy and weak. I took it home and when I assembled my model , it turned out one of the components was damaged (near the wires that were soldered) It cost $50 for a new one and they said that they weren't at fault and turned me down. No compensation... Pretty disappointed, as I don't really have a stable way to make money at 14...
